There’s nothing quite as beautiful as Springfield in the snow, is there? Yes, there’s no denying that it’s officially Winter in our pocket-sized towns as the 2017 Holiday Event blew into our towns with a major cold front! Of course, while the town is frosty cold the store is hot, hot, hot…and loaded with new premium items just tempting us to spend our sprinkles!
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add Shiva to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this multi-armed B.S. League member to your town…
Full Disclosure: You guys know how much I love this time of the year & this event is loaded with really good content, I do intend to purchase every single NEW premium item available. So I’ll do my best to provide an impartial view…but odds are it’ll be a little biased because I think the content for this event is phenomenal.
Character: Shiva
Donut Cost: 75 Donuts

Pros
-Full character for Springfield
-Helps fight the Aliens during the Act 2 questline (battles)
-Really good animated tasks
-Comes with a full questline
Cons
-His indoor tasks are all completed at the Brown House
-Does not earn extra event currency over freemium characters, and not necessary to complete event.
Final Thought
Premium:
I like it. Reasonably priced for a character (higher end of reasonable, but it’s fair). Comes with full set of tasks and questline. Some really funny dialogue with this one as well. Worth the donuts in my opinion.
Freemium:
This is probably the most reasonably priced B.S. League member for Freemium players. So if you have the donuts and you’re looking for a full character from this event I’d pick him up.
Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as I premium player, I already told you, I picked it up. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

I think this is definitely a better buy than Jebus. Obviously doesn’t come with a building / decoration, but still not bad. Having said that, I’m still not sure if I’ll bother buying it. I’m on track to finish the event days early again, so it might be better to save my sprinkles for characters I really want.
I’m at 7580 event currency, but Kwanza Dr. Hibbert just isnt unlocking for me (should unlock at 7500). Anybody else experiencing this?

Perhaps I am slow but just realize this morn from reading Buddha’s dialog of the main quest that a B.S. league is to be formed to fight aliens. Is it just me that is slow to catch but pun is intended on B.S., isnt it? For this reason alone, I think it worth collecting all the characters in this league. Very ingenious of EA to come up with it in any case.
