Christmas has invaded Springfield and when you think of Christmas, the first thing that should pop into your mind is kicking alien butts. Fortunately Tapped Out has you covered this Act with the introduction of Boss Fights!
Once you’ve completed “Balderdashing All the Way Pt. 5“, you will then enter Boss Fights.
Boss Fights are 7 rounds of tasks, similar to those we’ve seen in Mini-Events over the past year. In each of the 7 rounds, you’ll be tasked with completing different tasks. And all towards the end goal of unlocking Santa Claus, aka jolly old Saint Nick, aka St. Nicholas, aka Sinter Klass, aka Christkind, aka Kris Kringle, aka Father Christmas, aka Pere Noel, aka Babouschka, aka Alissa’s Happiness.

Please understand that not everyone gets to fight the aliens, just because they are unlocked. Each has their own tasks, and many are not unlocked until further down in the storyline. It IS a story…it unravels over time. So, unlike previous “battle updates” not everyone who could fight, will fight in each round. OK? Chillax…let the story unfold…have fun!
Apologies for the necromancy but it’s been bugging me for a while now – what does the B.S. stand for in B.S. league? My 2017 Christmas area is next door to the area I’m using for this current event so it’s kind of in my face 😊

I took a screenshot of a message I saw on the 3rd which said, “As a reward for playing, you can continue to send Springfielders on Boss Battle Jobs and choose whether it is intact or destroyed!”
Except I don’t see any way of sending characters on battle jobs any more…

I wish we could still battle after the tasks are finished? Those animations were so fun and I’d love to be able to continue sending the BS league on those jobs during the rest of the event- maybe to collect bonus tomes .
Once the ship is crashed, will we be able to switch back to an “uncrashed” view of it? And maybe do battle again? I have a daily task of doing battle with the BS League, but it ended, and crashed before I could finish and collect the daily task. I’d love to be able to finish my daily task.

Battle #7 is still locked. How do I unlock it?
After you complete the boss fights, will there still be funzo robots in the town ? Or do they disappear because you defeated the aliens ?

Ralph is also a premium character that can battle the aliens. I’m disappointed that he doesn’t get an animatation for his battle though. It probably would’ve been pretty funny.
The flying saucer uses an Elf Cannon! It shoots out the elves from my very favorite Christmas event (2014)! Okay, they’re not in mason jars, but I’m still thrilled!

Santa Clause is not known as Christkind in german, he ist known as Weihnachtsmann. Christkind (Kind=child) refers to Baby Jesus 😉
Rabbi K won’t go and fight in boss battles. I have completed his personal quest line and I have unlocked Qwanza Hibbert. How do I get Rabbi K to fight in boss battles
I bought Krustofski (100 sprinkles, such a deal!), but on this first battle, he’s not showing as part of the BS league (at least, I can’t choose him to fight). Do I have to run him through his personal questline first?

I’d already completed his questline and he’s still not available to battle. 🤔 maybe it’s certain characters per battle?
No once you unlock hibbert everyone can battle but you can only send 4 at a time

So far…………….. Keep doing the questline. They unlock as the story progresses.
I also have Krustofski, but he’s not showing up in list to battle. Currently have Otto, Hibbert and Buddha fighting but can’t add the rabbi. Can’t store him either. What am I missing here? Thanks.
You need to just keep doing the questline. They all come in their own time, in regards to being able to fight. There’s a story being told here…
I have unlocked hibbert and finished the rabbi’s questline, but the rabbi is still not available for the BS battles.
Warning **** I started the Boss fight, added my characters, then went to re-gifting machine. While playing it took me to the fight (saucer). Of course I lost. But you still get credit for using the re-gifting machine. Moral: wait til you see the spaceship in action before going to the re-gifting machine.

So in the store I bought tree Ralph and he gains zero currency. If I buy elf Bart and Lisa do they earn currency
Tree Ralph, Elf Bart and Elf Lisa all earn regular game cash when they aren’t used to battle the aliens. When they battle, they earn event currency.
One of the event’s pics shows Shiva, but we do not need to buy any premium character to complete all tasks / win the battle in time, right?

Hard to keep up with the game this time of year. I’ve haven’t got the Act 2 land token yet, let alone Kwanzaa Dr. Hibbert for the Boss Fight Pt 2. 😂
Stockpiling wrapping paper from act 1 paid off…got Kwanzaa Hibbert a bit ago.
I contacted ea because I don’t have otto in my b game & I couldn’t find him in the store. he’ll be available again in the next few days.
Looking forward to this, once I finally get Kwanzaa Hibbert. Not sure whether that will be today or tomorrow….I might try Bob(?)’s Funzo trick to speed things along a bit later today…

Actually, I spent 40 donuts on gift wrap for the gun. 6 completed runs at the re-gifting gun netted me an extra 450 tomes (75 per run), so I was able to speed up Hibbart without spending 120 donuts to speed him up directly. Not necessary, I know, but the donuts were just sitting there begging to be used…😜
Kwanza Hibert and Homer just completed the first 4 hour Task of The Kwanza task (I like to complete the Part 1’s just to secure a new Quest Line)
Kwanza is now completing Part 5 of Balderdash. Looking forward to the animations. Be nice if the animations remain (earning $ and XP) after this Event ends.

I can’t progress further than the first one until I win the skin for Dr Hibbert but that’s okay … plenty of time. 🖒
I’m just stuck on part 2 until I unlock Kwanzaa Hibbert. So…a couple more days? Kind of a weird set up and 3 day pause.
Forcing everyone to slow down
Act 1 had that same questline pause…
The animation with Elf Bart fighting the aliens is hilarious…he shoots a candy cane gun and then dons a pair of shades and switches to a gattling gun that feeds in a string of ornaments…pow, pow, pow! Jesus using his halo as an exploding frisbee is also great animation. Haven’t added everybody to the fight yet, but if these two are any indication, this part of the event is going to be fun👍😎.
What ever happened to Ralphie? Bought the skin thinking it would generate event currency, sadly no go from what I’ve seen.

But I’ve said again and again, don’t buy the characters for event currency. They don’t earn any more than freemium characters do

On part 2 the ‘have bs league battle aliens x4 is that 4 of the bs league members or has to happen 4x for a total of 16 hrs?
Just 4 bs members for a 4 hr job will complete the task.
I have not started the boss fights yet because I am working on part 5 of the questline. I hope the boss fights are more shorter to complete than the fights were with Montymort during Halloween since I missed out on getting Montymort as a character but I don’t want to miss out on getting Santa.

Not like Montymort…straightforward 4 hr tasks for 4 fighters and 2 aliens each time…what a relief☺️
Really it’s straightforward and easy, that is definitely reassuring to me since I just started the battles a few hours ago. Hopefully Santa Claus should be worth the effort to get him in the battles.
