Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Snow is falling in Springfield! It’s finally Christmas time…but Kodos and Kang have their own ideas! Ticked off that they were left out of the Halloween update, our two favorite Rigellians have decided to invade Christmas!
This Event is broken up into 2 Acts, with each Acts containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the second act, you’re tasked with collecting Tomes (
) to unlock each prize!
The fourth Act 2 Prize awarded at 9,400 is Kwanzaa Dr. Hibbert…because it’s about time Kwanzaa got a little appreciation.
So let’s take a closer look at this fourth prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…
Once you’ve collected 9,400 you’ll automatically be awarded Kwanzaa Dr. Hibbert and you’ll automatically unlock him in your town. Which means you’ll instantly see his Character Unlock message appear:
This is a SKIN for Dr. Hibbert. Not a new character. So you’ll find it on regular Dr. Hibbert
And he’s another character in the B.S. League Character Collection…
His questline will start right up for you. You can either use him to battle the Aliens in the Boss Fight, or you can work on his questline. Whichever works best for you. Here’s a look at that questline now:
Kwanzaa Talk About It? Pt. 1
Dr. Hibbert starts
Homer: Hey, Dr. Hibbert, are you working this holiday? There’s a good chance I’ll get a turkey drumstick caught in my throat again.
Kwanzaa Dr. H: Sorry. This year I’m the Spirit of Kwanzaa.
Homer: Kwhat-za?
Kwanzaa Dr. H: It’s a holiday that celebrates African heritage. There are seven principles, and the first is “umoja”, or community unity.
Homer: Oh, that’s like when everyone in the community comes together to pull turkey drumsticks out of my throat.

Homer: So, like how I shouldn’t give up on eating fruit-cakes, even though they taste weird and nobody likes them?
Kwanzaa Dr. H: Less thinking about preserved fruit, more thinking about oppression.
Homer: This cake oppresses me, but I will overcome.

Kwanzaa Dr. H: Today’s principles are about community: “ujima”, or collective responsibility, and “ujamaa”, cooperative economics.
Homer: Like how it’s the community’s responsibility for my high cholesterol, and they cooperate in paying for the heart bypass.
Kwanzaa Dr. H: This is about a different community. One that you’re not a part of.
Homer: Is this the “No-Homers” club again?

Kwanzaa Dr. H: Fine. Today’s principles are “nia”, or purpose, and “kuumba”, or creativity. Do what you do best in your own unique way. It will instill self-worth.
Homer: Like how I’m the best at drinking!
Kwanzaa Dr. H: I have to admit, I don’t see any other way you’re going to find self-worth.

Homer: Like faith that the New England Patriots will always win no matter how far down they are at halftime?
Kwanzaa Dr. H: Well, kind of. It means faith that we African-Americans will be able to survive and thrive in American society. In your analogy, we’re the Patriots.
Homer: That explains why most of America hates you. Dr. Hibbert, I’m glad you taught me about Kwanzaa. What can I do for you?
Kwanzaa Dr. Hibbert: Just once, don’t electrocute yourself on your own Christmas lights.

Now the event is over, and I didn’t progress Kwanzaa’s tasks while doing the event ones (due to Homer needed elsewhere), I now can’t complete “Kwanzaa Talk About It? Pt. 4”: “Make Kwanzaa Dr. Hibbert Teach About Kwanzaa”. There is no task for this on the characters task list. Any suggestions?

Kwanzaa Dr. Hibbert – this Character Skin has a lol worthy dialogue with Homer Simpson (visual Tasks are spot on!) I got to lol at my BS League members (huge 👍 for EA, the dialogue in this Event has been great!) 😀
What happened to the Black Friday deals? Those are gone. The Christmas event was disappointing as was my favorite: Halloween. I’m really considering quitting this game. EA has really just gone through the motions this year imo. Really disappointed.
Black Friday was full of deals. That lasted black Friday weekend… in November. 🤷♀️
Really? Because I remember checking and there weren’t any like in previous years where they had different deals every hour. I’m pretty sure they had deals like you’re talking about but not like in previous years. My point remains, I feel like EA has gotten lazy.
It’s funny that most of the questline requires you to send Kwanzaa Hibbert on the same 1 hour task and Homer has different tasks for each part. I do like that there is finally a costume for Hibbert that does not cost donuts, it also reminds me of Kwanzaa Bot from Futurama and with all his inside tasks at the Hibbert Family Practice makes me wish he had a home available.
What effect would putting Cecil Twerliger into storage have. Twice in the last few days I have hit “Spend 1m on follies” instead of just plain 60 min task. Really fed up wasting all my hard earned cash. Need to concentrate more or lay off the sherry.🙈🇬🇧
I tapped it by mistake once and spent 10m so I have it in storage. There’s no effects of having it in storage as far as I can tell.
Thx for the comment. I have put him in storage for now, just have to be more careful when sending him on tasks. 10m was a big hit, ouch😩
I have a daily task to take the BS league to battle, but my battles are over and the spaceship is destroyed. Now what?
You can hit the “X” in the top corner and swap it out for another Daily Challenge.
I have the same problem, but I can’t swap it out for another daily challenge because I already swapped out to get this one (I started out with a wrapping paper reward). Am I stuck at this point? I’m not exactly short on event currency, it’s just bugging me. 🙂

Thanks, Safi. That worked. I didn’t even think to do that because I was in the middle of the task when I unexpectedly defeated the space ship. I thought once you started a task you couldn’t abort, but now I see you can.
Today I have learned I can get in 6 rounds of the Re-Gifting Machine between a commercial break while watching “Mom”. Not a total waste of a day 😉 Ho Ho ho!
