There’s nothing quite as beautiful as Springfield in the snow, is there? Yes, there’s no denying that it’s officially Winter in our pocket-sized towns as the 2017 Holiday Event blew into our towns with a major cold front! Of course, while the town is frosty cold the store is hot, hot, hot…and loaded with new premium items just tempting us to spend our sprinkles!
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the Tire Fireplace to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this burning tire chimney with care to your town…

This is a Facade for the Tire Fire. So if you don’t have the Tire Fire this won’t be anything for you. Just like Christmas lights, it adds a festive look to the Tire Fire.

It’s 20 donuts, if you’re really into the decorations for your Springfield pick it up. Otherwise, pass on it. But I’m a fan…I like how it spruces up the Tire Fire 🙂
Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as I premium player, I’ve already grabbed it. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

I bought this, though I expected it to be a standalone decoration for my Christmas area instead of a facade. Still think I’ll enjoy it, though.
Having to have my game turned back 5 days due to a “save glitch” and I was so close to the final prize, having done all the battles and everything 🙁 don’t think I’ll be able to finish now but my game isn’t enjoyable to play as it is. Wish me luck!!
Did turning back the game fix the save glitch? (where you have to redownload and log in right?) They tried it twice for me and it was good for a few days but now my game resets every single time I close the app. Brutal 🙁 but email them, they rolled my game back during the Halloween event but gave me all the items I lost when they did it.
I’m still waiting on them actioning it … It’s killing me! Will let you know 🙂
Does the façade change when you hit the xmas plunger? I bought this just cause I love how the plunger changes the whole town around. Bought the Xmas Queen too.

I like this…but it’s 20 donuts…with no extra bonus…decisions, decisions lol. Also undecided about the Wiccans; won’t have enough for both since picking up some other items already. Just a couple hundred away from Jack and the candy cave! Loving this event!! : )
Wiccans earn money going forward, so they are more of a benefit to you than a decoration that doesn’t pay or increase conform-o-meter %

I bought this decoration straight away as I really like it and it seemed cheap enough.
Edit: not sure if it’s actually based on something from an episode though or just from the minds of EA.

Ah fair enough it must be either down to me having a bad memory or the episode hasn’t shown in the UK yet then. That I didn’t recognise it.
I seen the Tire Fireplace in the episode “The Fight Before Christmas” on TV a few days ago in the UK. 🙂
