Yes, there’s no denying that it’s officially Winter in our pocket-sized towns as the 2017 Holiday Event blew into our towns with a major cold front! Of course, while the town is frosty cold the store is hot, hot, hot…and loaded with new premium items just tempting us to spend our sprinkles!
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the Krusty Kristmas on Ice to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this Krustmas special to your town…
Full Disclosure: You guys know how much I love this time of the year & this event is loaded with really good content, I do intend to purchase every single NEW premium item available. So I’ll do my best to provide an impartial view…but odds are it’ll be a little biased because I think the content for this event is phenomenal.

Final Thought
Premium or Freemium:
While 75 donuts isn’t a bad price, I’d pass on this one. It’s a large footprint and a big let down that there’s no permanent task there. Whether your freemium or premium, I’d take a pass.
Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as I premium player, this is one of the very few I plan on passing on with this event. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

Krusty Kristmas on Ice – the price is right, but EA is failing to add permanent Character Tasks for too many new Buildings (it’s as lazy as sending New Characters on Tasks at the Brown House – c’mon EA, do it right!) 🤔
I picked this one up because I knew it would look great in a specific corner of my Springfield. I liked the colors of it too, it’s a unique color that not a lot of other buildings have. I have this one sitting in a corner right next to Things Unnecessary, Aztec theater, and Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers. https://i.imgur.com/C1jo3X8.png
It was tempting but I spent my donuts on the North Pole Monorail station, instead.
Pass. This would make more sense as a building skin.
With the ice tiles, I literally made it on ice.
