This morning, in addition to a variety of other things, an episode tie-in dropped in our pocket-sized Springfields! This tie-in severs as a teaser for Sunday’s new episode of The Simpsons. The tie-in comes with it’s own questline, which will unlock a free item for Springfield with it, titled STEM Vs. Them.

Lisa starts

Do you only get the tie in questing if you purchase the new stem building and Brendan?
I got the Questline out of the way asap …. Sunday night’s Episode was “meh” (I’m not saying every Simpson’s Episode needs to be an A+, but this was a D for me) …. so now I’m left to ponder putting this “anatomically correct, life-sized, inside-out man” Decor in Storage (thankfully, we didn’t have to spend $ on it!)
I have nothing for HawHaw land available in inventory. Shows there are 8 days to get the items, but there aren’t any items to get.
Lmbo at the Hemi cream thing. Guess I am fortunate as I don’t get any ads for this at all.
As for the Lisa is involved to much…really? I completed her tasks quickly and have moved on to claiming my second goal in the political thing we are not supposed to talk about😜

I decided to get this questline out of the way first. Can’t see it affecting the mini-event questline. Lisa needs to be cloned at times though!

It’s typical of them. They want you to blow donuts and feel the need to spend money in order to feel like you’re going to finish the quest lines. Don’t sweat it. Get done what you can. The sun will still rise tomorrow!
So I have 170 characters, but for some reason I need Lisa for tasks on the 2 events that are going on at the same time?! Right now one thing is delaying the other… hello EA, I have 169 other characters who could be used instead of Lisa…!
I’m ot as annoyed by the need for more Lisas as I am that when I am making monorail tracks (and earning donuts) there is a vastly disproportionate call for the aluminum cans.
Does anyone else have this issue?

I know getting advertising for this sire is necessary(everyone needs to pay the bills), but the latest ads are pretty annoying/disgusting.
The last thing I want to see flashing in between the comments is hemmeroid cream ads. I’m sure there ate plenty of other sponsors out there that would love to support the Simpsons and EA.

Might also be worth pointing out that the ads are often based on previous searches on the computer (I currently see Aladdin ads, because I am thinking about taking the missus to see the play).
Also, are haemorrhoid ads a lot more graphic where you are from?! Not sure showing a tube of cream can be called ‘disgusting’…
Do you have control over the mute button? Because it doesn’t work on any of the ads that play. I often have to mute my computer audio to escape these ads. The ad’s auto start, no pause option, and no mute option. they also tend to hijack the scroll-ability of the page. i usually am scrolling down to find the comments or just trying to read all of a post and i find i can’t scroll away from the ad. The screen keeps jumping back to the ad as i scroll. Lots of sites have and rely on ads, but i’ve never seen a site where they work like this…

the ads in wordpress are from Google Ads, everyone will get different ads depending on their browser/google history. mine currently showing airlines ads because in the last few days i was looking for some airline tickets. i dont want to offend you, but apparently google thinks you are a potential buyer for hemorrhoids cream.

That is why I only see ads for donating to charities benefiting puppies and children as well as exercise equipment and those pesky wholesale diamond ads.
Is that really offensive? It’s a topical cream.
I don’t know. I’m always see computing stuff and video games ads so I really don’t care.

Here in the UK it’s ep2 on Friday on Sky One so we’ll have a chance to see what prompted the tie-in weeks after !!?
Wow… I’m Australian and I had no idea about that. I haven’t watched commercial TV for at least 8 years though, as I’ve always had Foxtel. I only cancelled Foxtel a few months ago to get Netflix instead, for 1/10th of the cost. But I don’t think Netflix has Simpsons on it. I do miss the Fox channels on Foxtel with Simpson marathons on all the time. I think you can get Foxtel Now for around $30/m but I’m not sure if that will include channels with The Simpsons.
So far I want to know where to get Brendan
