  1. I nuked my B game once, just to see what it was like, but never again. It took forever to rebuild, and I could never find what I was looking for in my inventory. I even tried to pull everything out at one end, and move stuff over to the other end as needed, but that way there is not much room left to maneuvre. Turned out to be a nightmare, at least for me.

  2. The nuke button exists because people don’t play the game as intended! It’s a struggle for me to visit neighbors and see a cluster f of a town! No organization or any semblance of a real organized town.

Instead of complaining about updates, use down time to organize and make your town look good. Shocked to see over 2/3 of people have nuked or wanted to

    • At the moment it’s only 26% that have actually been insane enough to do it. So 43% have nuked or want to. I think nuking is only an option if you’ve been playing for a few months. I could spend 4-8+ hours just faffing around with one events worth of content. It would take me at least a month, working on it for hours each day, just to recover from a nuke *shudder*

Searchable inventory would be awesome, as would a place for junk I don’t like but can’t sell, and why… why… can’t we choose the qty we want to sell? We can choose qty’s to craft during events, why not to sell from inventory? They could make the inventory hassle so much EAsier 😁 Safi, your town was awesome, you’re crazy 😂😂😂 I nuked 1 time, never again!

  4. Nuked my B game a few weeks ago and I’ve kicked off four new quests as I’ve placed items again. Cracks me up! It’s like little hidden gems.

  5. NUKE? I live on Oahu near Pearl Harbor and after the ballistic missile scare we had this morning I don’t want to even think of or hear that word for a long time. I wouldn’t even think of doing that to my Springfield.

  6. I’d love to Nuke my town, but I spent too much time creating new buildings out of fences, benches and existing buildings…I wish there was a group/ungroup tool so I could group items and store in inventory as is.

  7. Have some info on the TSTO connectivity problems that some tappers are running into. I have 3 apple devices, all using the same Wi-Fi and modem…only one has received the latest iOS update and that is the device which cannot keep a connection with EA’s server. I have spent some time on the phone with EA tech support this afternoon, and they are investigating the possibility of a glitch/imcompatability with the latest iOS update for iPads. Reports on the EA forum seem to point to an exclusively iPad problem, the reporter’s iPhones don’t seem to be affected. I’ve switched over to my old iPad, which is working fine, but I won’t be updating it till the problem is resolved.

    • My Wife is having problems connecting to Tapped Out on her IPhone right now. So it may not be just an IPad problem…I’ll have to have her contact EA.

    • I have tried on 2 iPhones and an iPad, 2 of which had not been updated and one that had, but all three devices would not let me past the ‘cannot connect to server screen’

    • EA tech support requested if you are unable to connect, you log in to their TSTO forum and add your “me too” to the current thread about the connectivity problem…the thread dated 1/13/18. Tell them your device and if you have installed the latest iOS update. Won’t help immediately, but it will give them some idea of the scope of the problem

    • I have iphone ios 11.2.1 and have NOT updated to 11.2.2. all was fine all day and now i can’t connect at all tonight.

so I don’t think it has anything to do with ipad vs iphone or new ios update. it’s something different. hope it’s resolved soon.

  8. I haven’t been able to log into the game for the past day and a half..Just keep getting the Bart with the plug any idea on how to fix this?

  9. I nuked my Springfield just 4 days ago lol. With 1 week downtime till the next event, it seemed the perfect time to do it. Redesigning in the snow is less recommenable though. And I seem to have lost a treasure pit from the wild west event. Too bad, I always liked that decoration 🙁

  10. Alissa…just to let you know, the “server help” (link above) works fine but the blog it takes you to has a bad link within it…the EA “server status” link now takes you to an error404 – page not found.

  11. Thank you so much Alissa, in bed with flu so gave me something to do instead of watching the boob tube😉

  12. I hope they do a ocean/sea event, although they already used water world-type items already. I’d like some more use of the water.

  13. Incognito tapping, lol

  14. I won’t nuke as I agree have way too many trees, flowers etc would be a major headache. I move sections & designs instead.

  15. I have too many areas I love and add to those occasionally. I love the Select Tool, just wish it worked with roads, water and paths, so moving designs with those tiles could be EAsier. I really hope the next major game improvement is more design tools and better inventory system.

  16. Who new Safi would be the first to push the nuke button!

  17. Good morning, Just wondering how many people voted?

  18. Or how about giving items a name that doesn’t start with a descriptor?

  19. I can see the issue from EA’s standpoint…thousands of players changing their mind after they delete something…even after 2 warnings.

The farther you progress in the game the more stuff you get the less you are prone to Nuke.

    • Agreed. I have redesigned my Springfield 3 or 4 times, never nuked, just stored a lot, kept out character related buildings and moved stuff around. Now that I finally have a fully connected monorail and such a massive layout, I don’t redesign much, I just expand on what I have. And I’d never nuke… I’ve put too much time into this design!

  21. What do you think we will see next in TSTO and when do you think it will hit?

  22. 2 things.
First, I nuked my Springfield back in 2015 and I have been rebuilding ever since. Trying to find the time to design and play through the bombardment of events and mini events as well as live life is an ever constant struggle.
Second, it has been almost 24 hours since I’ve been able to login. I’ve done all the tricks. Still can’t connect to the servers.
How many others out there are sharing my pain?

  23. Do you think there will be a event that will tie into the Winter Olympics?

  24. I’ve been unable to sign in from Toronto since early yesterday evening. Does EA/Origin have any sort of server status web page?

  25. I think I’m the complete opposite of a nuker. I haven’t even moved the Simpsons, Flanders, or brown house from the inital placement from the level 1 demo (I’ve been playing since thanksgiving 2014)
