Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

No new Simpsons this week…we’re on a long hiatus from our favorite yellow family. How will you cope with Simpsons withdrawals?
New event, Bart Royale, hit our Springfields this past week. What are your impressions of the event so far? How are you doing on the prize track?

at this point, im lvl 27, and lvling up fast. however, im struggling to keep up my cash. suggestions?
What is your best advice for a lvl 23 freemium player?
So you are just starting out. (1) get and visit friends. It will help you earn currency (event and otherwise) and items that will earn currency. (2) KEM farm (3 to 6) KEMs will not cost much and move you up the levels earning donuts even without the collider on. Moving through the levels faster gets you characters and buildings faster. (3) Use the donuts to buy Mystery Boxes (6). This will increase your bonus and currency generated. (4) House farm – if you visit often or stay a long time – buy many brown house. But don’t neglect buying the other houses. (5) Play the events – but don’t stress out – it is a game after all. Many of the items will come back later – most of the time cheaper.
i have friends, i dont know how to kem farm much, and ae mystery boxes the best donut investments?
For increasing bonus %, 6 donuts Mystery Boxes return 1% for 8 donuts (over the long run) (usually the best deal) plus Lard Lads and items you can sell. Early on you will get Squeeky Teen, Blue Haired Lawyer and Lemon Tree. To KEM farm just buy additional ones (first one is $220), let them get built, collect XP (2000+), sell all but one so that the first one you buy is $220. Repeat. KEM is Kwik-E-Mart.
what about the event mystery box?
It depends on your goals. The other mystery boxes are a good buy, but seems to returning. I figure this is a long term game, a couple of years. If you are pure freemium, then you want to get to a place where your generate enough donuts to buy all the premium items. That will take about a year. If you don’t want to wait I would suggest you start a second game where you only concentrate on the events and going pure premium. You play your “A” game the way you want (buying items you like, etc), your “B” game you don’t worry now about looks. Just farm and buy MB for bonus. It shouldn’t take too long for “B” to match your levels on your “A” game.
by freemium i only mean that i dont spend money
also, i have started small kem farming (9 at a time), if i want limited edition items, is it worth the donuts?
only you can tell if something is “worth it”. That is why I suggest a second game. One where you get what you want (instant gratification) and spend time designing and one where you concentrate on increasing your bonus (delayed gratification).
i gave up and bought 3 boxes, i only have 23 donuts…. BUT, i now have death, and the cat and iguanna lady’s! they made it worth it. I also got the epa hoverjet

thanks. i am glad i got the cat lady, bc she would cost 150, right? so for 120 donuts i got 190 donuts worth of stuff? i wish i didnt get the epa helicraft, and got the myan bundle or gravekeeper billy

I have never seen “Moonlight” or “La La Land”. I understand La La Land got an award that was supposed to be for Moonlight, but “it was dealt with” properly? I never knew either movies excisted! “La La Land” would have been more up my “alley”. I love to watch musicals since I was 10 (same year the Simpsons came on TV), because it was one thing my ailing grandmother actually shared with me (when she remembered what she liked to watch). Because of her, I fell in love with Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, Carry Grant, Barbra Stanwick, Jimmy Stewart, Bing Crosby. I was ashamed at times because I didn’t watch the current movies out on VHS, because I was watching “great” black and white movies. I fell in love with musicals (when my grandmother couldn’t talk anymore, we’d “watch” a musical on AMC or TCM, she came alive!), she would be happier, hum, & sometimes sing along.
Things that irk me when KEM farming:
1) harvesting a crop of KEMs then realising your bonus multiplier was expired.
2) selling all your KEMs and buying new ones then realising you missed selling one of them, so every one you bought was a little bit more expensive than it should have been.
3) harvesting your last KEM and being 1 point away from your next donut.
It is why I max out on the charger (39 days). Just remember 220 is the magic number.
Hi Mab. Hi everyone. Wonderful pictures. Liking the event so far, might keep some of the stuff out and use for a future park. Sorry for lack of posts and visits. My temp job finished on the 3rd week so went back to job hunting. Good news is that I can get my old job back Feb 17th😄. Also had to switch to a new seizure medicine as one of my meds was causing some major behavior changes. Things are looking up, staying positive and moving forward. Happy tapping and stay warm everyone 😎
I dont like what is going on with the land. If this is a permanent thing, it changes the urgency of visiting your town. No need to save for land (the most expensive thing to buy and DOES NOT take up inventory space). Why clear your town on a regular basis? AND why buy ANYTHING with a percentage bonus attached to it? Just more money for you to collect that you WILL NOT USE. ( Now, i am talking about players that have access to this “new land”, older land is not affected.) I am just not understanding the WHY behind this move. Some people say it is to “control land purchases”, but i dont buy it ( no pun intended) Whether we buy it NOW or LATER, it will be used the same, and this will actually cause players to NOT be able to BUY AND PLACE new building, etc. Seems counter-intuitive. Seems like a half-baked micro-management move by EA. :-I
I have been rejecting daily tasks for 1500 beers and the odds aren‘t all that bad to get a 2000 beer task instead.

I have bonus duff beers 10.500001%. How is this possible?
Surprised it’s been used on the display variable rather than hidden in the code, but it will be to do with how the event currency increases in whole numbers as your percentage changes to make sure it actually improves as intended

Is pyro worth someone’s donuts if they are freemium, and are saving for the duff brewery? i have 134 donuts
Pyro is the last prize in the prize track, which you still have over a week to get. No need to spend donuts
i have 3 kids, and 5 adults, i check a couple times a day (3-4) and only have 17000 beer. could i still make it?
You still have a week, see how far you get.

Probably Not. You have 17000 now. Add 1500 (daily challenge) + 4 visits at 480 (8 characters at 60) + 4 * (240 – tappables -6 per hour *10* 4 hours) or max (24 hour *10* 6) = 4860 (at max tappables). You need about 5750 per day. Even if you 500 more on the daily challenge, that leaves you short. The bonus will help ( and friend visits) and there may be more ways to earn beers, but with only 8 characters you will probably need to log in 5 to 6 times a day.

If you plan to spend donuts I’d wait until the last minute, the more beers you collect the less donuts you need to pay.
If he costs over 60 donuts, I would say no. He will probably show up eventually in an event mystery box for that amount.
What are we saving in game cash for now land is only purchased with tokens?
Rat trap truck farming and KEM farming I guess
Paying for second or third choices on maggie donuts and bonuts and donut farming. And for buying trees.
Unpopular opinion, but I don’t like this event in the slightest. I hate it. Worst event of all time for me. I’d prefer more events like Halloween 2017, but since everyone else hated that, I understand that EA isn’t going to keep that kind of stuff going. If this however is how the game will start drifting towards, I think it’s time for me to keep a break from the game. A long break.
Still can’t buy land can only get with free land tokens. Anyone got any ideas.
