Final Thought
Premium:
It’s a toss-up. Bonus % is fairly started for donuts paid.  You either like it or you don’t.  If you like it, grab it.  If not pass.

Freemium:
Unless you’ve got a carnival area of your Springfield this would work great it, I’d pass.  Loads of better items are coming down the pike…this is one you can afford to pass on.

Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as I premium player, I picked it up (I like it for my County Fair area).   But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

Here’s a look at the questline it comes with….

V-Toll
Milhouse starts

Milhouse: Bart! Let’s go on the chopper ride! I’ve always wanted to soar!
Nelson: Hold up there. All riders shorter than me have to pay extra!
Milhouse: What, that’s not fair! Just because you’re bigger, and stronger, and meaner…
Bart: You just made his points for him. Milhouse, pay the man.
Make Youngsters Get to the Chopper- x5. 4hrs, Earns $260, 70xp

  1. I don’t get all these amusement park rides being released for Springfield. I know Krustyland is kinda boring, but maybe that’s because there’s never anything new for it? These Springfield rides should at least have the option to be placed there.

  2. a lot of these like this one i’m wishing they’d re-add the tasks at some point in a patch. But I am glad to finally get a new % item. Even if money and EXP is rather worthless in my game at this point.

  3. Yeah needs permanent tasks. Also proves we need to be able up place Krustyland stuff in Springfield. Might have an excuse to make some Praiseland walls. Does Krustyland still exist? I haven’t been there in over two years but I have the perfect place for The Tooth Chipper in my Springfield

  4. I was holding off on buying this and then completely forgot about it until minutes before the Act 1 countdown timer ended. By the time I read this SIB post and decided to spend my pink sprinklies I was down to 56 seconds on the timer but I made it. I now have it at my county fair by The Paralyzer and my youngsters are enjoying the ride. And like everyone else, I really wish we could keep their task permanent so it could always be animated. Imagine poor Wendell on a never-ending chopper ride? I hope he carries that barf bucket around with him. Uggh 🤢

  5. Ahhh 30 minutes until the act 1 clock runs out and my internet decides it doesn’t want to let me into the game!

Hopefully this is a temporary thing as they prepare to launch act 2…

  6. I saw it animated when I visited a friend’s town; So went ahead & bought it in both my games. Now I’m a bit disappointed it doesn’t have a permanent task there! I like the idea of adding it to the County Fair area & just might do that too!

  7. I finally got the dam! Yay! 😊

  8. I have an enormous amusement park so autobuy for me – I need more rides! And if my amusement parks fills up, I’ll do a carnival area.

  9. I bought it because I like to have rides in my town like a mini amusement park- I still like it- but it would be better if it was always animated or if springfielders had permanent tasks there.

  10. I like it and just bought it. The kids need more ride choices on my Squidport, so this fit in perfectly. The bonus is a plus. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Now that I have The submersible and am generating Squid 🐙 Port Tiles, I’m working on a carnival area. Fits in AND Bonus %.
Bring on Midnight (PST) and Act 2,

  12. Glad I didn’t buy it, I thought it provided A cool car flying off with a building catching on fire like the Farris wheel

  13. Picked it up a couple days back for my county fair area, too!

    • Get to tha CHOPPA!!!!

Same here. I was confused this summer by the lack of county fair rides to go with the GIANT county fair sign they gave us. This helps and gets the ball rolling.

  14. I bought it and I like it because it is creative. I have a couple of questions about this portion of our game in general. For one, two of the playscape lookouts that originally appeared with the Mega Playscape have disappeared. However, when I close the “seeing eye” on decorations (right-hand menu) they are present, albeit as a ghost image. Is this a glitch? Also, are the kids battling adults as well as the ruffians? Adults never appear when fortifying.

    • OK. I JUST RECHECKED AND THE LOOKOUTS ARE COMPLETELY GONE— even the ghosts are gone. Ah well.

      • Would readers of this blog check out your Nega Playscape by clicking the “no see” button for buildings? I just double checked to see if the missing playscape lookouts were viewable. And they are… this is maddening! Lol

    • I noticed that…when I had more attackers than defenders (had pulled Moe and Homer to Moe’s Express), stuff started disappearing. When I pulled Moe and Homer back to the Playground (so I now have more defenders than attackers) the stuff started re-appearing. Hadn’t really payed attention until I started pulling defenders from the Playground, but something is for sure going on when you have an imbalance.

      • The more defenders vs attackers thing makes sense. The defenders are building the playscape up, and the attackers are tearing it down! If you pull all attackers and just use defender for one or two cycles, you will get a full playscape or battlefort or whatever. It’s kinda cool. I expect after the event you can just choose which form you wish.

    • The playscape has a number of looks or skins it cycles through as you battle, you can’t pick them and it makes no difference to gameplay or payout.
I’d only worry if the items you craft and place start changing.

Only the kids were animated, their foe were inside the playscape launching beers if you watch.
As to who is fighting who, there are two more sites to come with the next acts that will probably mean everyone fights everyone at some point

  15. “Get to the choppa…” I mean, “Get the choppa!”

It’s decent for what it is but nothing special, bonus is fine. Can’t hurt.

  16. I bought it and am only disappointed that there isn’t any tasks there after the questline. I will space out the five tasks one by one to get the most of the animation. Get to the chopper!

  17. I picked it up because I thought that the Bonus 2% bump was a good value and I thought it looked cool.

  18. Josephine Kick@$$

I thought it was totally cool, bought it because of that & the bonus %, I thought the kids were going to have a permanent task to ride it… EA rEAlly rEAlly dropped the ball on this one 😕

    • Bought it right away because I had a design idea in mind. Then for a brief moment I got super excited, I thought it would have tasks for all the kids to ride it. I was so crushed when I realized those tasks weren’t permanent.
