Bart Royale Act II – Calendar and Math to “Get it All”

Let’s start with what you should have done…if you were listening. You should have couched a couple of your daily task rewards (left them uncollected), until the game flipped to Act II…so you start right out with 1,500 to 3,000 Buzz Colas TSTO Buzz Cola.png on the first day, before you even started tappa, tappa, tapping to get your Act II prizes.

That said…if you didn’t do that, no worries. There is no use in crying over spilled cola. Especially since these are all digital colas anyway.

So, let’s move onto the math and the numbers and the “freaking out, because you are already SOOOO BEHIND!!”

You are going to be fine. Take this from a guy who had to say this about a zillion times to people at my daughter’s wedding. It was an amazing event…made all the better, because we stayed calm, and enjoyed every moment, no matter what came down the road. Life is like that. If you look for the details to whine about, you’ll never be happy.  But, if you can roll with glitches, and smile…you’ll always have “everything you want.” But, I digress…

Let’s look at the numbers.

As Alissa laid out for everyone, here are the basics about collecting Buzz Colas (BCs).

 Buzz Cola

So the ability to earn Duffs is now gone.  Your counter prize track for Act 2 has reset to zero because you have zero Colas.  So forget about that wonderful Duff…time to get your Buzz on with Cola!

You’ll earn Buzz Cola very similar to how you earned Duff during Act 1….

-Clearing the Ruffians Tappables (earn 10 /tap)
– Clearing Ruffians in your Neighbor’s towns (earns 10 /tap)
-Daily Challenges
-Sending Adults and Kids to Fortify/Assult Forts ( earning varies)

So…BEFORE YOU ASK… there is no real advantage that is evident, for sending your fighters to one battle station or the other. They earn the same number of BCs, wherever they are fighting, they just switch roles from assaulter to defender.

However, by not placing everyone in the same battlement, you do get to mix up the animation, while earning the same rewards…mostly. It does depend on how you have “fortified” the two areas, as the one with the highest bonus will produce more.  But, I’m not going to sweat it. I think playing both sides at this point is more fun.

Let’s get onto the math…so you can start freaking out!

CLICK ON THE GRAPHICS TO ENLARGE…

And for the Digitally Inclined…

Please…don’t freak out.

If you set  your timers for every 4 hours, you will EAsily get everything offered. There are no “late starts” waiting for the download. It auto started on the 6th…and you are good to go. So GO!  Start tappin’… get Maggie! She is a bon-a-fied warrior!

There really are no excuses here…this act is repetitive, and easy…with some fun prizes.

Did YOU finish Act I?  What is your favorite prize so far?  Let us know…we LOVE to hear from you. OK…well…MOST of you.

  1. Shouldn’t Prepper Lindsey Naegle be on Tuesday?

  2. A humble suggestion. To keep people from feeling behind, set the end of day value for the day the update comes out at 0.

    • I don’t think that’s a good idea. The value is necessary, it’s what you should aim for on that day. If you set it at 0 then it makes no sense and isn’t useful

      • I believe it makes more sense. Many people do not have it for the full day or may not get the daily challenge for the first day. Plus rewards usually increase as the act goes on. In this case we had the bonus plus quest rewards. Therefore to to give the first day a equal amount just makes everyone feel behind.

While the per day average may be slightly higher, the milestones are easier to achieve.

        • There is no day on the 20th. Act 3 starts on the 20th. So all prizes have to be acquired by the end of day on the 19th

          • All the prizes are awarded on the end of the 19th. (The extra is just spillover – ). (Since the daily challenges usually occur at midnight Pacific Standard Time, most people will have some time on the 20th.)

My kid animations at the Junk Base are back, but the original decor and now assault adults are not showing in the animation at the Playscape, sigh.

  4. I got the water tower this morning. Based on my math I need on average 3920 cola a day. With 4 taps on just my forts I earn 3907 a day. With my daily bonus always 1000 or better and has been a lot of send 4 players to the fort. I will have no issues in Act 2.

At the start of an act i am pretty good at 4 taps a day. about 2 days in it is down to 3 and towards the end its 2 maybe 3 sometimes 1 or none. I can’t remember the last act I haven’t finished. The math works. I have premium players, and usually pick up 1 character for the event so it does make life easier. Just keep on tapping, tapping, tapping.

The basic appearance of my Junk Base and Playscape have suddenly changed. Decorations that came on each space are now gone, leaving only the ones I added. Also, at the Junk Base, I only see two characters animated instead of the whole kid crew. Any idea what happened?

  6. 1st – thanks Patric for Event 2 Calendar

2nd – thanks to all who offered tips and suggestions (’cause I already got the Water Tower, which means I’m at least 2.5 days ahead of the calendar)

    Keep On Tapping👍

  7. Um sorry to disagree but the percent only effects the structure its on and colas your picture shows the difference

  8. As usual, in the last several events, I miss out on the final prize in Act One!! I can’t explain why I always start out late when knowing the events launch on a Tuesday. Oh well.

One question. Should I move all my bonuses to the fortification I’m sending my warriors to? I have moved most but still have 2.5% left on the playground. Should I move those over to the scrap tower?

    • Yes…move all defenses to the new base so you have maxed 20% on the base you are sending characters to.

    • There are a lot of schools of thought on this. Read the post Alissa did. It will be helpful. I moved mine to get through the quest line…and am now simply keeping them both growing at the same rate.

BOTTOM LINE… as long as you are sending all of your peeps to do battle, every 4 hours…you will be fine. Mine are both at 13.5% and growing with each rev… and I am way ahead of schedule.

  9. Most of my towns did not finish Act 1. Which means I have a harder road for Act 2. I just can’t log in every 4 hours. Usually logging in 2-3 times per day.

    • What’s the benefit of having multiple towns? I understand the blog writers having several accounts so they can assess offerings for both newbies and seasoned players. I even had a couple extra accounts when many of my neighbors weren’t clearing their towns regularly. But otherwise, I don’t get it. Anyone care to enlighten me?

      • I have multiple towns because when I first started playing, the towns were small and the events were spaced further apart. So there was a lot of down time. Every time I got bored, I created a new town.
Additionally, I am a freemium player, and creating different towns allowed me to buy different premium items in each town.
Each town has a different focus and design aesthetic.
While I don’t know why other people have multiple towns, that is why I did it.

  10. Easily ahead, act to will be 3 or 4 visits a day as I was about 4 days ahead of act 1 and did 3 donuts rounds 😀

  11. Is there a way to get a full facade for both mega playscape and the junk fort ? It seems like everyone has a different kind of facade for them.

  12. My Lard Lad Donut became Ruined Lard Lad. Is that part of the event?

  13. Since I’ve been able to complete Act 1 early, I held back two Daily Challenges from Sunday and Monday to collect their rewards after Act 2’s start, along with the new challenge that activated at the same time. That gave me a jump start into the act of 4.500 Buzz Colas. I’ve not cleared Ruffians for the past 12h before thea act switch, so I could clear 60 of them right away. Also, I stayed away from clearing them in neigbor towns, so there were 30 more of them.

Skipping 3 or 6 more bonuts is IMHO fully worth this easy start into the act and will likely be compensated by finishing the act earlier and getting them then.

I’ve progressed the Act 2 questline to the step that awaits unlocking Naegle’s costume and moved all characters to the Playscape again with its 16.5% instead of the lower rated Junk Base.

  14. Ehh, the bonuts were more valuable to me than holding onto challenge currency

  15. What am I going to do? I am already WAY off from the calendar!!!!!!!
I am already like 1 1/2 days ahead!

(thanks to saving crafting / having two daily challenges / and since I up all night with a sick kid…..starting first round like 2 minutes after midnight PST last night and got a second round at 4am PST…so by the time I woke up for work, I had already completed 1/2 of my first day!)

  16. WAIT,I”M NOT GOING TO… uh, nevermind. Looks like I will be juuust fine.
Thanks for the peace of mind Big P. (Or is that Agent P or St. Patric?)

  17. As always, thanks to the TSTO Addicts team for all their hard work and time. And congrats Patric!

  18. My game is hanging up. That is it gets real slow and I have to exit and reload. I tried restarting my iPad but that did nothing. Annoying.

  19. How come one of my neighbor already has the Ruffian Fort even though it won’t be available until act 3?

  20. The great thing was that I had so much crafting currency I hadn’t spent from act 1 that I was able to craft enough to get the full 20% straight away. That and the three daily tasks (one of which produced 2,000 colas) and I got the first item on the prize track at about midday GMT. I think I’m going to be fine.

  21. I tried to have the bonus areas on the Playscape and Junk Base overlap and put my trenches in the overlapped area, but the bonus does not apply to both spaces. Sadness.

    • Yeah, I went through the same process. Some of my Mega Playscape percent was just shifted over to the junk base %. So I separated them again….

  22. I just swapped my bases, so the new base is on top of the tunnels that were already there.

  23. ThatOneWeirdTap

I feel a little annoyed I missed out on most of act one as my tablet was broken, glad to be back though just in time! 😀Just about to buy Jeremy 😃 Thanks for the calender though! Always helpful 😁

  24. Step 1: Replace your playscape with the new junkyard.
Step 2: Gain 20% instantly for junkyard and send everyone there because questline demands that at least once.

  25. For the most part I could take or leave the prize track at this point (except maybe for apocalypse Maggie, because she is awesome). Some of the craft-ables may make it into my town when the event is over. What I really like are the premium characters, usually I pass on most of them, but for this event i’ve got Wendell, and Snake Jr, and I picked up the Hellfish bundle at the reduced price. All of them take me to my Happy Simpsons place!

  26. Is anyone else’s game not telling you when all ruffians are cleared? It did on act 1 but since act 2 started it doesn’t tell me anymore. I spend 5 minutes searching my town with buildings hidden till I know I don’t see anymore.

  27. Is there any need to send characters to the JunkBase? Do completed character tasks earn facades that will be awarded after the event? I ask because it seems easier to take advantage of the 20% bonus I have accumulated at the Mega Playscape during act 1. But if I earn facades through play then I will take the time to transfer my tunnels and other fortifications to the Junk Base to jump start my earning potential.

I really don’t need to craft all these tunnels for my town. What I have around the playscape now is more than enough for me.
