Bart Royale Prize Guide: Act 2, Prize 3 Outlands Water Tower

Ohayo Original Outstanding Optimistic Outlands Onlookers,

(Today’s post is sponsored by the letter “O”)

Looks like we’ve got ourselves a Mad Max tribute on our hands! Bart Royale has found its way into our pocket sized Springfields! This apocalyptic event hit our devices and it’s full of Homergeddon inspired decorations, buildings & characters!

This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story.  To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event.  For the Second Act you’re tasked with collecting Buzz Cola () to unlock each prize!

The third Act 2 prize awarded at 25,300  is the Outlands Water Tower, because sometimes you just wanna store some water for a non-rainy day!

So let’s take a closer look at this first prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…

Once you’ve collected 25,300 , you’ll automatically be awarded the Outlands Water Tower and you’ll see this message popup:

And you’ll have the option to place it in your Springfield or store it in your inventory immediately. Remember if you store it, you’ll have to go into your inventory later to retrieve it.

The Outlands Water Tower is a decoration, so there are no tasks for it and no character interactions. However, it can help you earn more event currency as it comes with a 1.25% bonus if placed in the defensive zone.

So if you place it in the defensive zone around the Mega Playscape or Junk Base or Ruffian Fort, you will earn a 1.25% bonus towards the event currency as shown below:

However, if you don’t place the item in the defensive zone, it will just be a decoration that does not contribute towards bonus event currency as shown below:

Notes:

  • You’ll get the 1.25% bonus even if only one tile of the Outlands Water Tower is overlaid on just one tile of the defensive zone.
  • You’ll get 0.625% bonus towards each buildings’ defensive bonus if the tower is placed such that it touches the defensive zone of two buildings.
  • You’ll get 0.416% bonus towards each buildings’ defensive bonus if the tower is placed such that it touches the defensive zone of all three buildings next Act (after the Ruffian Fort is released).

In addition to generating a bonus, it also comes with some fun dialogue that makes fun of the prize itself. Here’s a look at that dialogue:

Outlands Water Tower
Auto start once placed
Homer: There, finally we have a water tower.
Barney: Wow, Homer, how are you getting the water up there?
Homer: Well, I…
Homer: D’oh!

And that’s it to the Outlands Water Tower. Not much to it… but here are some quick facts about it:
Size: 3×3
Conform-O-Meter: Vanity +100
Where Can I Place It?: Grass, Pavement, Dirt, Boardwalk, Pier, or Beach
What Does It Do?: Earns 1.25% defensive bonus

And there you have it; the details behind the Outlands Water Tower.

What’s Next?

Prepper Lindsey Naegle– Awarded at 37,000 .

So that my friends is the full breakdown of the third Act 2 prize!

What do you think of the Outlands Water Tower? Were you quick to unlock it? Where have you placed it in your Springfield? Is it in your defensive zone? Is it touching the defensive zone of both buildings? Thoughts on Act 2? What are you looking forward to? Sound off in the comments below, you know we love to hear from you!

Hey, I got Prepper Lindsey Naegle yesterday morning, and now all the quests are done, and she has nothing to do with the event somehow… no event currency earned with this. So no value add 🙁 Just a skin… sigh.

  2. My playscape and outlands zone became completely bare yesterday. Only the things I crafted for them are visible, but the fences and houses that are part of the grounds themselves disappeared. And only 2 of all the characters attacking are visible. Is this a normal feature or have I done something?
It happend when I unlocked Lindsey Naegle. None of my neighbours seem to have such a bare playscape/outlands zone.

Looking forward for that Burns skin, which shows up when you tap on Act 3. I wonder if it’ll come with a building… or a building skin, that would be great as well.

  4. I earned 1800 cola bottles to get the City Hall in the crafting track. What a let down. It’s a skin for the regular city hall. I’m working on the horse driven SUV now but come on EA give us a building. On another side note the Valentine mystery box looks get. 6 characters I don’t own. Dia betty is a steal if your lucky to get it.

    • Thanx for the City Hall info. Bummer😒

    • Mystery Novelist

On the other hand, the City Hall did not have a building skin yet, until now, right? When you look at it that way, it’s not that bad..

    • A skin is dumb idea for this particular building….it’s not like the apocalypse is a seasonal thing you will ever change back and forth. You’ll have to choose to lose the Court House in your town or you can just never use the skin…no way the two buildings would ever be placed in the same part of town. I’m certainly not going to give up my Court House, so this prize has no value at all.

  5. I heard people complaining about the 4 hour event grinding and I totally get it. They need to mix it up more.

  6. I like the little birds animated on top and it looks great next to the outlands sign 😊

    • I too like the bird animations on the Water Tower and I would of thought that water shoots from the top and the birds fly away then reappear when its gets tapped. I also like other the animal animations in the game with my favourite being the meat stealing racoon at the Tree Steakhouse when Apu is on his task there. 😀

  7. Just noticed that the Battle Dome generates Scraps.
