Well, I guess every battle needs a break, especially when that break is for L-O-V-E. Yes, in the midst of the attacking and fortifying we’ve got ourselves a little Valentine’s Day sale in our stores. So grab those sprinkles because our stores are full of love items mostly from Valentine’s past fill your Springfield with!
Yes, before you ask…I will be doing breakdowns for EVERYTHING related to Valentine’s Day over the next couple of days. Items don’t leave stores until the 18th, so if you need more info just sit tight I’ll be writing it up between now and the 14th….
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add Snuggler’s Cove to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this bracket battle building to your town…
Snuggler’s Cove is the only NEW building/decoration added for Valentine’s Day this year. Everything else is a returning item.

Pros
-Comes with a questline (3parts)
-Animated when in use, lights on smoke from chimney
-Homer and Marge will both have a 10hr task there when questline is finished
Cons
-Pricey for a building
-10hr permanent tasks can be hard to work with, since not many characters have them
Final Thought
Premium:
I like it. It’s a bracket battle building, the only NEW Valentine’s Day item this year…i’m a fan. I say go for it.
Freemium:
You’re likely better spending your donuts on premium characters over this building, especially since next year it’ll likely end up in a Mystery Box. I’d hold off on spending donuts…unless you really love the building and can’t live without it.
Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as I premium player, I picked it up. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

It’s an attractive building like Bob’s townhouse. I like it, I bought it. It would probably look good next Maison Derriere, too bad my M.D. is fully developed around it.
I don’t think it was mentioned, but if you send Homer & Marge from Homer’s menu, you earn 450 Event currency for the 10h job. (From Marge’s, you earn $1050.) That’s better than Homer’s 60 every 4h (with 20% bonus)
I think it’s a lovely building and bought it.

What is best to spend donouts on? Valentine msytery boxes or doomsday mystery boxes? I really want the zombie sandwich, and aztek bundle.
It depends on what you have in both the Valentine’s Day and Doomsday Mystery Boxes (MB) and what you would really be interested in. Since your comment stated that you want the Zombie Sandwich and the Aztec/Mayan Bundle then it is better that you spend the donuts to try and get both of them (minimum of 80 donuts spent if your really lucky or they’re the only items in the MB) on the Doomsday MB but it is also available for the rest of the event (7th March). The Valentine’s Day MB is only available until Sunday (18th February) and is more expensive (60 donuts per try) than the Doomsday MB (40 donuts per try) but does offer you more chances of getting a character, building, and/or a character/building combo.
I bought Snuggler’s Cove and the Tunnel of Love immediately. I like having places where Homer and Marge can be romantic.
I think the Valentine’s offerings are a lot better than the Event offerings this time. I bought all but one of the Valentine’s date Box. I picked up Brendan, Jaques and Betty at a substantial discount. I got Le Krusty Burger, the Aztek Theater and Howard’s Flowers. I left Rio dis Inn Ero only in the box. I had to buy more land to create a French section with some of the buildings from the Around-the-World Event.
Any one know if Le Krusty Burger in the mystery box comes with the French Waiter? or just standalone?

Smuggler’s Cover – it’s cute that Homer and Marge get their 10 Hour Task here ….. I don’t know if I’m willing to spend 65 sprinkles (especially when you know this Building will be back at Discount) 😉
Is there a way to see how many free land tokens you have. I’ve been saving them since they started but can’t find them in my inventory. Thank you
i think it will show how many you have if you try to buy land… unless you have all the land except for the strip they just released. I think I have read here that that new strip is only available to purchase with in-game cash.
If that was true, I would have bought all the available land.
You have to EArn land tokens for the two land strips at the far right.
What to do with my gazillion of game cash except for turning it into bonuts?
If you have land left to buy, you can tap the 4-way arrow icon then tap a land space and you will be given the option to purchase with free land tokens or cash. Your total count will be displayed in the upper right of the dialogue box.
I suggest using them right away, many tappers (myself included) have been commenting on land tokens disappearing from their inventory. I now tend to use my tokens on the most expensive available plot as soon as I get them.

I usually don’t go for loot boxes, but the valentine’s day box had 10 things I didn’t want and 7 that I did, so for once I rolled the dice and got…the STEM hotel…I was very sad and learned that loot boxes are not for me.
I passed, but spent my sprinkles on the Valentine’s Mystery box. ❤️ I want everything in it! I was thrilled to get the Aztec Theater on my first try. I’ve been wanting that for a couple of years. And on try number two, got Le Krusty Burger. I couldn’t be happier. I’m busy KEM farming, so I can get more tries.

Smugglers Cove is the only item which cannot be placed in Krustyland.
