Tip to Start Act 3 of Bart Royale

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Just a quick reminder, we talk about this all the time, starting TOMORROW (Sunday) SAVE YOUR DAILY CHALLENGES! (provided you’ve finished the Act 2 prize track)  This will allow you to start Act 3 ahead of the game.  So SAVE THOSE CHALLENGES!

The reason you start saving them tomorrow (Sunday) is because you can only have 3 at a time at most.  Saving tomorrow and Monday is two Daily Challenges and then when Act 3 hits on Tuesday you’ll get a 3rd.  This easily allows you to start Act 3 3,000+ event currency ahead.

  1. uggh. so close to collecting my bonuts round and it swapped acts on me. *smh* also i’m having difficulty accessing the site. i’ve tried 6 times and it keeps booting me to retry due to internet failure [on their part]. anyone else having this issue? can’t complete my 3 DC to collect from neighbors or anything else.

  2. I’m saving my scraps for act 3, too. They added junk items when act 2 came last time and were part of the tasks to complete. Maybe they put out ruffian items next time. Happy tappy!

  3. It’s possible to accumulate
    between 3000~4500
just from Daily-Task on the first day

Arrrrr I’m going for those bugs!

    \o/

    • Technically, it would be 4500 to 6000.

If you save two 1500’s and get a 1500 on the first day of the event, that would net you 4500 immediately.
If you save two 2000’s and get a 2000 on the first day of the event, that would net you 6000 immediately.

I already have two 2000’s save, so I should get either 5500 or 6000 depending on what my Tuesday Daily Challenge rewards.

  4. I don’t do this. I get the bonuts earlier on, because it seems like the currency amount for bonuts goes up with each act.

I also purchased all of the premium characters, though, so I have no issues completing each act.

    Bonuts!

    • I am banking crafting currency.

      Why?

So I can get the Ruffian Fort up to 10% ASAP and complete the main storyline.

      Why?

      MOAR BONUTS!!!

      • If you craft the items now, you can just move them there now. But what I do is, I just swap the new Fort to where the old fort was and it’s instantaneously at 20%. And then I just use the new Fort.

    • Actually, the number of currency to collect for bonuts has been the same for this act and Act 1 at 6000, so the next act will probably still be at 6000 of Act 3’s currency for bonuts.

    • I collect daily awards if it gets me bonuts, but if there is no chance of completing another round of bonuts, than I keep the awards for the next act 🙂

    • It’s much better to hit the ground running and finish the Act early, than run the risk of ending up short. It shouldn’t be an issue as I’m finishing each Act 5-6 days early, but I know some people still struggle

      • yeah, totally, i dont have trouble finishing acts, but if someone does (or knows they want be able to tappa tappa tap because of holiday or something), than its really better to sacrifice a round of bonuts in order to have a head start in the next act

        • I think I am constitutionally incapable of giving up a chance at bonuts. They’ve been coming awfully fast since they started letting us collect for bonuts even before we finish the prize track (just after we finish the main quest).

I moved things around to make the new play area 20% immediately and have been switching old leftovers in the new area with new bonus craftables to the old inactive play area (keeping at just the max 20%), since I want to get to the end of the craftable track. I’ll just move the new one into the spot of the current one as others have suggested this time, although I might switch things in and out as I craft new stuff that looks better there.

  5. Another tip is sending all characters to upgraded area on 10% and more. Don’t send your characters to not upgraded area (10% is minimum).

  6. Normally the work for bonuts increases with each act making it better to use all dailies for bonuts because you will complete the prize track anyway. This time around this does not seem to be the case. So for the first time ever your advice is valid.

    • Well, you’re a bit harsh… It is always useful to keep the daily awards, if there is no chance of completing the last round of bonuts before act changing (like if it would only get you to 3000 out of 6000, there is no point in collecting it and you’re better off keeping it for the next act.

  7. It’s tempting to save up the daily challenges but I’m trying to get as many free doughnut rounds as possible. I do save my crafting currency for Act 3. It’s been a very doughnut friendly event so far, very generous in ways to earn them. Have a happy tapping Saturday friends 🙄

  8. Thanks for the reminder! I should get the last prize for Act 2 today so it works out well.

  10. Do you complete them and just not tap the button to collect, or do you not even work on them?

    • You complete them, but just don’t click on them until Act 3 starts. As soon as Act 3 starts, when you click on them you’ll earn Act 3 currency immediately.

  11. Remember that if you have a 1500 daily challenge, you can hit the x to hopefully have it replaced with a 2000 event currency challenge.

Currently I have a 2000 and 1500 challenge waiting and I’m going to keep my 2000 until act 3 and gamble my 1500 for a chance at 2000 since we still have a couple days left. Good luck!

  12. I also recommend that if you’re going to be awake when the act is launched, it is wise to save up to 60 (30 banked) ruffians to increase that headstart, so do your math (6 per hour so 10 hours) to stop tapping your ruffians 10 hours previous to the launch of act 3…. unless you’re really close to getting those last chance at Bonuts and you’re willing to accept that you will have less of a head start.

Hi Ebron – I think Alissa put this reminder here just for you!!

Happy tapping to all the good boys and girls in the world.

  14. How do you save daily challenges? I didn’t realize you could do this either?

    • Even if your Daily Challenge gets completed, you don’t have to collect the reward until you hit collect. I have two 2,000 Daily Challenge rewards from last week I completed on the day they came out but haven’t collected the rewards yet as I bank the 2,000 rewards for Act 3. Once Act 3 starts, I’ll hit collect and reap the rewards of those two 2,000 Daily Challenges. Plus I’ll get a new Daily Challenge once Act 3 starts.

  15. Happy Saturday ♥
Got x2 2000 daily challenges saved for act 3.
Hoping for a 3rd by swapping out daily…😊

  16. I saved today’s and will use up tomorrow’s, I got 2000 today! To good to waste!

  17. How do you actually save them? They automatically get completed as you play the game by sending characters to their tasks and as you tap the people.
    Thanks

    • Even if your Daily Challenge gets completed, you don’t have to collect the reward until you hit collect. I have two 2,000 Daily Challenge rewards from last week I completed on the day they came out but haven’t collected the rewards yet as I bank the 2,000 rewards for Act 3. Once Act 3 starts, I’ll hit collect and reap the rewards of those two 2,000 Daily Challenges. Plus I’ll get a new Daily Challenge once Act 3 starts.

  18. Thank you Alissa,
I seriously had no idea you could save daily challenges.

That statement indicates that you are not yet tenured enough to
be worthy to call yourself an TSTO Addict. Hang around here long enough, though, and you will earn that honoraria. 😇 you’ll be as skewed as the rest of us ancients.

      St Crispin’s Day Speech
Henry V, Act 4, Scene iii
Kinda seems appropriate, given the current theme of this Event

(Off to “balance” the checkbook, and later, finish roughing in this year’s Income Tax forms)
