Bart Royale Act 2 is Nearing the End…

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Just a reminder that Act 2 of the Bart Royale/Homergeddon Event…Ends TOMORROW February 20th at 0800 GMT (3am ET).

Once the Act 2 is over you will no longer be able to earn Cola Prizes for free. So get everything you can before it’s all gone! (but remember to keep earning Cola if you haven’t unlocked all of the prizes because the closer you get to unlocking the next prize the lower the donut cost would be should you need to purchase it when the next Act starts…)

Crafting will STILL be available in the next Act.

Be ready for the Act 3 to start bright and early at 0800 GMT (3am ET) tomorrow morning  (February 20th)….

  1. Two new craftables. Ruffian tower is 1.25% for 200. Fence 75 for 0.75 %

  2. Ea’s servers literally on fire this morning. Don’t mind a delay to get in, just don’t kick me out after 30 seconds!

  3. Wonderful EA is at it again. Logged in at 3am to get a head start & after placing thr Ruffian Fort, get the can’t connect to server. Lol…too many people logging in at once crashed the server? Yawn…guess I’ll do after a few hours of sleep.

  4. I’ve been saving my scraps to build any required craftables in act 3. They’ll all end up in storage after the event.

  5. I’m hoping act 3 is more exciting than the first 2 acts, although I love the Maggie skin.

I’m wondering if there’s any must have premium offers coming for act 3 like number 51 was for the stone cutters mini event, otherwise im gunna go ahead and buy the rest of the beach hideaways for that 20%

  6. Anyone else bummed there was no president character for President’s Day?

  7. I have saved up 2 daily 1500 challenges (3 by tomorrow), got 14 extra donuts from bonuts in Act 2, and unlocked Outlands Maggie on Sunday morning. I have also started designing the Outland area which I usually do near the end of the event and started adding some of the old Outland items such as the Jet Engine Bikes and Backwater Brewery to the Outlands area.

  8. I was bummed there weren’t any presidents for President’s Day

  9. Well after ages of collecting & collecting I’ve finally stored almost everything in my town and am joining Safi in rebuilding my town.

I decided to store instead of nuke like last time to keep my event running smoothly, but I think I may of stored a few characters. Does anyone have a list of the characters who are able to Fortify/Attack?

    Thanks!

  10. Anyone else no longer getting notifications? How do I fix this?

    • Check your settings… same place that you change volume.
Go to your Tool Box (hammer and saw icon), then click the little gear box that is in the top right of the pop-up.

  11. Just wondering what would be the point in having all 3 at 20% when only one is used at a time?

Now, what to do with all that crafting currency???

    • Just as a little hobby, seeing how high you can get the bonus up even if you’re not using it, and a way to stash craftables with a bonus that you want to have in stock for later purposes – during the event, they can decorate the play areas. Then off to storage until you find something else to do with them.

In my case, I keep crafting because I do want the final item in the crafting track. But I only buy what I need for quests or what I like otherwise. I had skipped the Battlescape but just recently decided to get it and I’m glad I did. The kids are earning a lot more cans in its quest than they would fighting the adults. So currently the adults are on their own and the kids are helping me possibly get one more batch of bonuts before the next Act.

    • The fencing for the original playground is what I’m investing in. Seems like the only thing with a possible future use in my normal Springfield. Maybe a bunch of trenches…the rest will probably be stored after the event anyway. I won’t be developing all three sites either…just enough to complete the quest line.

  12. Hi all…I need some help….I ended up with Mindy (and Madame Chao’s). I’m on Pt 4 on “Much Ado About Mindy”. Homer is tasked with buying Champagne – except there is no place for Homer to buy Champagne (I’m aware in prior versions this task was in Pt 3). I’ve done all the resets I know to do: save the game, delete the game, turn off my device, reinstall the game from backup…nothing seems to work. I am really don’t want to delete all my Kwik-E-Marts (a suggestion found on the web).

Has anyone else encountered this bug and if so, how did you overcome it?

    Thanks in advance!

  13. JUST A REMINDER FOR A QUICK START TO ACT III….
Do NOT Collect your Daily Task Rewards…let them sit after you have completed them. They will convert to the new currency tomorrow…

Start Act III with a BOOM!

  14. What does the ruined Townhall do?

    • It is just a facade.

    • I really regret crafting it… my townhall is the other side of the map to my junkyard area, so having it look ruined is pointless.

      • Exactly the same. I crafted it this morning and found it in my civic area looking very much out of place. Should have realised it would be a skin rather than a new building.

      • I regret crafting it at this point. Should have left the crafting till AFTER completing Act 3, and saving the scraps for Act 3 instead, because chances are, the scraps are needed to craft items to boost some defensive/assault bonus again 😕

        • Once Act 3 hits, move your Mega Playscape or Junk Base (whichever one is at 20%, if both aren’t at 20% yet), and drop the Ruffian Fort in that now empty space. It will instantly be at 20%. You can then start upping that older base up to 20% if you want all three to be 20%.

          • Indeed that’s what I did for Act 2. Just thought it’s likely they’ll input new items with defensive bonus, that I’d like to craft first for the new fort 😅

            • I wouldn’t count on it. Usually they display all craftables from Day 1.

              • EA did add some craftables with the start of Act 2, the Junk Barrier and the Junk Lookout.

              • My bad. For some reason, I thought they were already in the game from Act 1.

              • It is the first time EA adds craftables at the start of a new act.
                On an other matter:
My anonymous games got rolled forward 110 to level 939 automagically. It appears to be a copy of my B-Springfield. EA moves in strEAnge ways. But I and not complaining if I add the cash from my A-, B, and now C-Springfield, I have 1,65 billion in gamecash. WOOHOO!!!!!!

      • I just saw it and will not be crafting it. Does not fit the look of my civic area.

      • For us disorganized types, the ruined facade will fit right in with our chaotic vision for Springfield! One of the advantages of drowning in clutter, realspace and cyberspace.

For the rest of you – maybe it will come in handy for a future event. Or for Halloween. At least a facade doesn’t even need to be stored, it’s just always there as an option to choose. So it’s easy to just go back and forth as the mood strikes.
