Should I Spend Donuts on Peta and Pita?

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

The kids of Springfield are mad as hell and they’re not going to take it anymore!  Time for a Battle Royale of epic proportions…kids vs adults.  The soul of Springfield is on the line!   So grab those sprinkles because the store is stocked with battle inspired items to fill your Springfield with!

As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add Pita and Peta to your Springfield?  Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this dynamic duo to your town.

Characters: Peta and Pita
Donut Cost: 150 Donuts

Leaves stores when event ends

Pros
-Comes with a questline
-Will Help earn event prize currency (questline AND task to Assault/Fortify the bases)
-Amusing outdoor tasks
-Reasonably priced for TWO characters (basically 75 donuts each)

Cons
-Not voiced
-One-off characters

Final Thought
Premium:
Not a bad pick up.  You get two premium characters, both will help with the event & they have some amusing outdoor tasks.

Freemium:
I’d pass on this one.  I think you’re better off using your donuts for Wendell, or even Jeremey Jailbird.  However, if you already picked those up and you still have the donuts go get a character…this isn’t bad.  Two characters that’ll ultimately help you earn income in Springfield long after the event is over…

Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as I premium player, I’ll likely be picking them up.   But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).  Also, this is one of those items that will help you earn more currency…so the earlier you pick it up the more beneficial it is to you.  So try to make your final decision before this weekend…so that it’ll help you the most.

Here’s a look at their tasks…

Pita’s Permanent Tasks:

Task Length Earns Location
Train for Love 1hr $105, 26xp Outside/Visual
Sculpt his Feelings 4hrs $260, 70xp Outside/Visual
Eat a Salad 8hrs $840, 210xp Krusty Burger
Teach Gardening 12hrs $600, 150xp Willie’s Shack

  1. As they are One-off characters & as I really don’t need any more help with the event (I already have Crazy Cat Lady & Erik for extra help), I’m passing on these 2

I’m sure they would end up in a Mystery box or at a rebate later on. Also they are MORE expensive than Ginger Flanders and Amber Simpson, who were originally for 115 donuts (I got both Vegas Wives last Black Friday for 80 donuts)

I got Erik mainly because his Dodgeball Court came with a 4% bonus which is permanent. Also the benefit that he was offered in Act 1 and continues to earn event currency till the event’s end. I’m more inclined towards purchasing new premium characters (that help with an event) in the beginning of an event than near its end

  2. Alissa, would you recommend Pita and Peta over Refrigeratorium?

  3. It says their 8h tasks at $840 and 210xp. Thats more than normal. Are their 8h tasks combined and that split over both?

  4. PETA animal rights and PITA bread amused me name wise. Especially when PEETA in the movies was so worthless. He was dying in some way every scene and of course someone had to rescue him. It’s cool they made the PETA and PITA true to form of the original character.

  5. I did pick them up but if I had realized their only visual tasks were 1 and 4 hours I probably wouldn’t have. I typically use the 8 and 12 hour tasks so I’ll pretty much never see them after this event is over.

  6. Freemium and not enough donuts but like them and would probably buy, 40 donuts short, ruffian assault messing with my game and head, anyone have any thoughts on it?

  7. Yes had to get them for my character collection and had to get the refrigerator guy too.the only good thing about this event is All The new characters. Which has pushed my town population up to 302.

  8. This is another situation where I love the character, but will have no room for such a large (and event specific) building after the event is over. Can’t store one without storing the other…sooo…a tough decision.

  9. I’m going against the grain in this one… one week after the event we’ll be saying, “who were these guys again?”

I’m going for the Refrigeratorioum and the Ice dude.

  10. Jeremey Jailbird? Where do I find this character? Did pick up Pita & Peta though, bargain for two premium characters.🇬🇧

  11. They had me sold at kids , epsecaily two separate characters for the usual price of one AND no mandatory building/ decoration tied to them.

  12. Might pick these up after I farm enough sprinkles. Hit hard by the Valentine mystery box and my desire to acquire Mindy!

  13. Sounds like a dish for cannibals, a 🥙 Pita Peta 😁

  14. I like having more kids in my town and thought 75 each was a pretty good deal! Ka-ching 😊

  15. > What are your thoughts on the Outlands sign and Mountain Man?

    Small typo 😉

  16. Meh
