Final Thought
Premium or Freemium:
Hard to find big faults with this one.  If you like it grab it, otherwise pass.

Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as I premium player, I picked it up.   But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

Here’s a look at the questline it comes with….

Gas Pipes
Willie starts

Willie: I heard you was lookin’ for an outlaw musician?  No instrument is more outlawed than the venerable bagpipes.
Otto: Woah, man, that’s not what I meant by outlaw.
Willie: Too late, long haired laddie. Once a Scotsman unsheathes his bagpipes they cannae resheathed until ears have bled!
Otto: Dude, now that’s a jam I can get behind. Strap in and rock on, man!
Make Willie Play the Bagpipes of Wrath- 8hrs
Willie: Hear Me!

What are your thoughts on the Bagpipe Bus?  Will you be spending the donuts to bring it to your Springfield? Did you already?  Why or why not?  Where have you placed it in your town? Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

  1. I bought it and love it. Its funny and spooky. I might put it in Homer palooza concert area or death row area with the gallows, electric shocker.

  2. 😈😎One of the most outstanding items in a while… definitely worthy of being a mobile vehicle though😎😈

  3. I played through the questline but now I can’t find anything sending Willy back to the bus. No skins in the inventory. Am I missing something?

    • Aaaand just saw it’s an 8 hour task (normal skin) worth 180 fuel cans. Not a bad payout while chasing bonuts.

  4. I can’t find the jebediah Springfield statue. Can anyone help me out?

  5. I bought this. I think the animation is awesome when Willie does his task there.

    • Hi, I’m wondering what the outside task for Willie is, 1hr, 4hr, 8 or 12. Sometimes that’s the deciding factor if I buy or not. Thanks for any help you can pass along.

      • His task is 8 hours. I don’t buy many premium items but I jumped on this and am very glad I did! Puts a smile on my face when I see it!

  6. EA twitter feed:

“We’re giving our games and services a little love (maintenance) right now. You may not be able to log in, contact us on EA Help, or connect in the meantime, but you can still get help. Tweet us here, or get help from our community at Answers HQ:”

I guess when they finally get the server back on line it will be carnage with every man and his dog trying to log on – may as well write off Tuesday 27th Feb!

  7. Once again, I didn’t get any XP for purchasing this item. Anyone else having this issue? This is the third thing that I’ve bought that has given no XP when placed.

    • Almost all the stuff offered during this event didn’t give any XP – it is kind of normal for the prizes and crafting stuff by now, but not for the premium items. I am a little disappointed with that as well, although the amounts are usually rather small.
