Top O’ The Evening to ya! It’s another day in Springfield and another Mystery Box has arrived! This time, it’s a St. Patrick’s Day box full of St. Patrick’s/Boozey themed goodies from years past!
This is a premium box full of your chance to get those limited-time premium character/building/decorations with an Irish/Boozey flair to them. By now we should all be familiar with how Mystery Boxes work, so let’s jump to the breakdown of what’s inside…
This Mystery Box is a great way to get items you may have missed out on from Previous Events at a low price…
And…if you already have everything in the box you won’t see the box in your store.
So for 70 donuts you can have your shot at a variety of St. Patrick’s/ Boozey inspired premium characters, Leprechauns, decorations and buildings from the past, 70 Donuts is equal to or less than the initial value for each item.

Note: This box doesn’t have as many items in it as some in the past have, so I’m going to give a little more detail on these than I usually would….
Wishing Well & Leprechaun- Originally 150 donuts, Should I Buy. This one has been around FOREVER. Was introduced on the very first TSTO St. Pat’s. Leprechaun is an NPC (but when you tap him he sputs out cash) and the Wishing Well offers a 4% bonus on cash and XP
Sham Rock Cafe & Yupprechaun- Originally 120 donuts, Should I Buy. The second Leprechaun introduced to the games in 2014. Does the same thing the other Leprechaun does when tapped. Sham Rock earns $300, 30xp/12hrs
Notre Dame of Springfield & Seamus- Originally 150 donuts, Should I Buy. Seamus is a full character, Notre Dame earns $175, 18xp/6hrs.
Blarney Castle- Originally 115 donuts, Should I Buy. Castle earns $200, 22xp/8hrs. This was originally a Gil deal when it first hit games
Duff Party Liner- Originally 100 donuts, Should I Buy. Earns a 2.75% bonus on cash and XP
Duff Stadium- WAYYYY back in the “Day” this was a prize for the original Whacking Day in 2013…very few people won it. Since then it’s been a store staple available for 90 donuts, Should I Buy. Earns $500, 45xp/24hrs. Also…my favorite “building” in Springfield.
Duff Center Arena- Originally 200 donuts, Should I Buy. Earns income every 6hrs
Bowlarama & Barney- WAYYY back during Christmas 2012, TSTO players could earn Barney for Free. Ever since then he’s been an insanely expensive staple in our premium stores. He’s available regularly for 250 donuts. Should I Buy. Hands down the best combo in the box.
Lotto n’ Liquor & Dewey Largo- This is generally a store staple, available regularly for 150 donuts. Should I Buy
Now, while I know you can’t pick and choose which items you want from the box, I included the Should I Buy (or details) posts from the past so y’all can see how much they originally cost & what specifically each building/character does.
70 donuts is a MORE THAN fair price for most of the items at least. So my thoughts are, if you have something in there you want…give it a try. You’ll likely get something worth it.

i was lucky enough to get the wishing well [chased it all over in a neighbors town]. anywho, i checked out the “should i buy” link for more info, but it doesn’t mention how often this little guy shows up to be tapped. i enjoy chasing him down when i see him, but not sure how many times a day,or if it is just once a day, that he shows up. thanks.
I now have everything on this list except the Duff Party Liner after finally getting the Wishing Well and Leprechaun I wanted. I already had Barney, Largo, and Duff Stadium (Vault deal.) I’m pleased that even the prizes I wasn’t trying for add something unique to my town.
I bought 2 boxes and got the wishing well and Barney. I’ve been saving for him forever but alwuas ended up buying other items because I got impatient and eager to spend . I’m happy I waited because 70 or 140 donuts in total for both is a steal! Couldn’t be happier with my purchases
My choices were Sham Rock Cafe, Liner, Arena, Blarney Castle, Notre Dame and Largo; got Sham Rock and Largo. I’ve wanted Largo for years, so I’m giddy! The Cafe is pretty cool, too, and who doesn’t love leprechauns running around? Now I just have to figure out where to put the buildings…
It may be worth updating Largo’s SIB with the fact that he earns junk and glass; I don’t farm, just religiously recycle, so that was a huge bonus for me <3
I now have two tiny leprechauns running around town and keep losing sight of both of them…. I have enough trouble keeping track of the big turkey!
Got Barney, so it’s possible
Well, I gathered enough donuts to buy one. Had none of the items, decided to take a chance. Got the Bowlarama and Barney. I feel a bit like I won the lottery. 🙂
I’ve got Notre Dame, the wishing well and the Duff Party Liner in my box. I definitely don’t want to spend the donuts on the party liner, I’ve been just fine all this time with just the Yupprechaun roaming my Springfield but I’d be ok with it, what I want is Notre Dame and Seamus. I seriously considered it at full price. 33.3% chance. I’ll probably risk it.
I only have the castle, arena, and party liner in my box. Wouldn’t mind having them but not for 70 donuts each. I spent enough donuts on all the new items from this event.
I’m looking for Arnie Pye. Any suggestions? I haven’t seen him offered for a few years. Totally a freemium player when he popped up first . When and how can I get him??? Thanks in advance!!

Just FYI, I have read Arnie irritates a lot of players when he flies around. If you didn’t know that, I would check out some YouTube vids of him to see if it’d be OK with you first.
Luckily EA improved that. I don’t tap him accidentally any longer. 👍
No mystery box for me; that’s the first time that has happened. Given my oft-moaned about dislike of them, I’m ok with that. I love St Patrick’s Day. I’m glad to see a lot of returning items and I think the content for the mini event is great so there’s plenty to spend donuts on this week.
I got the Blarney Castle and Duff Center Arena yesterday. I now have a 75% chance to get one of the the first three character prizes on this list. Should I risk getting the Duff Part Liner or save the doughnuts?
I would risk it. Even though Duff Party Liner is not bad
The party liner has a nice bonus so it will also earn its keep (2.75% greater payout in cash and XP for tasks and buildings). It’s like adding a character or two or three or more without the fuss of making job assignments. Figure out how much cash/XP you pick up in a day and do the math to see what I mean.
This box looked amazing, but I really wanted Barney…so i kept buying the box until i ran out of donuts. Still didn’t get him, but i have ever Duff product, Seamus and one of the leprechaun’s
