Final Thought
Premium:
A fun pick up.  He is a one-off character, but his tasks are amusing and he’ll help with the event.  Not a bad buy if you want him.

Freemium:
I’d pass on this one.  I just think it’s too pricey for a Premium combo.  (and not necessary to complete the event)

Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as I premium player, I already picked him up.   But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).  Also, this is one of those items that will help you earn more currency…so the earlier you pick it up the more beneficial it is to you.  So try to make your final decision before this weekend…so that it’ll help you the most.

Here’s a look at his tasks…

  1. Had to get it just because on of my favorite lines was Marge saying “I just swept the circle of death”

  2. Circle of Death and Meathook – yeah worth buying it to see Homer in that Circle of Death Duel (and quickly get this Mini Event accomplished so that I can get back to redoing my Springfield (lol)😄

Hey EA, Greaser’s Cafe, please! 👍

  3. Narcissa Bones

Purchased this immediately. It’s one of my favorite episodes. It could’ve had zero bonus and no tasks and I still would’ve gotten it!

  4. I got him and wish he had a ‘roam around town’ visual job like an unleashed hoodigan. If he rode his motorcycle it would be sweet, could always use another biker around town. Anyone know the total number of motorcycle riders? I include scooters too like Grady rides.
    *Mindy
    *Budda
    *Father Sean
    *Grady

    • The magician guy’s 4 hr task has him on a bike. I’m brainfading on his name, but it’s a take-off on that guy in Vegas (Cris?)(if he’s even still around nowadays) I love all the bike riders too & always select those tasks if I have the time. 🏍 RachelS 😎

  5. I’m not usually big on single/few episode characters unless that show means a lot to me. I would like to have him for the task with Homer, so will try to farm enough. Would not spend real money.

  6. 4.5% bonus. Snapped it right up.

  7. Both of these were no brainers for me. Items fit well with the Outlands. Got them busy with event tasks. Can’t wait to get through the questlines to get to that task

  8. Got him and Ramrod as soon as I was able to…even though they are not in a lot of episodes that was a great one and made them must haves.

  9. Bryan Sutherland

My game is acting funny. Tap radius shrunk. Money mountain and others back to lv 1. Pieman task back and tap button frozen. Plus no more st Patrick’s day box or tasks

    • Contact EA you may need your game rolled back

    • Pyanfar the Hani

Me too! Was fine last night. Pieman task is back, I had numerous screens from old events (Valentine’s 2016!) pop up saying I had one last task, my Rail Yard is reverted to once a week, and the character button in the upper left doesn’t work at all. The only new things I put in my game were Seamus and Notre Dame, and Blarney Castle that I got from the Mystery Box for St. Patricks Day. Today there was a Gil deal I don’t remember seeing before for Duff Gardens and the Lizard Queen. And yes, St. Patricks Mystery Box is now gone.

      • I am having the same issues and EA hasn’t been able to fix it. They say they rolled my account back to a previous state, but even after an uninstall and reinatall it wasn’t reverted.
Were you able to fix this glitch?

        • My game is now fixed. Took a couple of resets to a previous state. I’ve been playing fine all day 🙂

  10. Not voiced – we missed out on having John Goodman in town!!

  11. Memorable character from a memorable episode, he was a must-have for me.

  12. Well…since becoming a “Team Safi” KEM Farmer, I don’t sweat it as much when a Premium character comes up. But, after re-watching this episode, it was a no-brainer for me. BOOM! Bought it. Happy.

Plus…these items fit great with my “Badlands” design area. So, no problems. The battle with Homer may be one of the best animations in the game.

  13. We’re the hell’s satans outta bakersfield…

  14. I haven’t gotten to the task with homer yet, but it’ll probably be my default task for him when he’s not needed elsewhere!

  15. So iconic. How could you not?

  16. Unfortunately for me and my completionist heart, anytime there’s a new character or one that I missed, I instantly buy it.
