Should I Spend Donuts on Hooch City?

The booze is out of Springfield!  It’s a battle of Homer vs. the 18th Amendment, with whiskey on the line…or just that wonderful Duff.  So grab those sprinkles because the store is packed with boozey inspired items to fill your Springfield with!

As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add Hooch City to your Springfield?  Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this self-serve wine station to your town…

Building/Decoration: Hooch City
Donut Cost: 50 Donuts
Size: 9×9
Earns: 20 /4hrs. Once you finish the mini-event prize track it’ll go to $135,15xp/4hrs
Conform-O-Meter: Consumerism +20

Leaves stores March 21st

Pros
-Comes with a questline
-Will Help earn event currency (drinks)
-Fun animation when in use, “wine pump” hose goes haywire and shoots wine everywhere

Cons
-From what I can see there are no tasks at Hooch City after the initial questline (if you have found something different, please let me know)

Final Thought
Premium or Freemium:
50 Donuts is not a bad buy for this building unless you’re only interested in items with a bonus %.  It does stink that there’s currently no permanent task there, but otherwise it’s not a bad building & can fit into a lot of city designs.

Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as I premium player, I’ll likely get it.   But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).  Also, this is one of those items that will help you earn more currency…so the earlier you pick it up the more beneficial it is to you.
