Noticing that the in game cash and XP no longer “flies” across screen to collection points but simply disappears. Kinda neat as at times I would move to NE corner of town to observe totals rising unobstructed.

I’ve had a few characters and buildings in my store now for a VERY long time, and they stay there, because I’m always tempted by new items. If I were to invest in these, or plan out the order in which they were purchased, how would you rank them?

Also, is the Springfield Heights Opera House worth it? Does it add to % bonus? Or Gone Fission?
Also, Little Lisa’s Recycling Plant – what is the significance of this now that the event is over? What is the use of the blueprints it generates?

No, the Opera House and Gone Fission don’t add bonus %. They only increase your REV if you’re still below 2 billion REV.
Blueprints from Lisa Recycling help you get to 25,000 faster and therefore get 5 donuts faster. That’s it.

(didn’t put two and two together, is more like it) Is that a good investment then if I am constantly working on the Rail Yard / Monorail to earn the donuts? Should I get that first before everything else? Right now I currently check in at least 3-5 times a day.
I don’t even send people to pick up trash. Just use LLRP.
For us long time KEM farmers, it’s not a big deal. But for someone new, it is quite a donut deficit:
It only generates 450 blueprints every 4 hours.
If you tap 3 times a day, you’ll earn 1,350 blueprints a day, and five donuts from the plant every 19th day (18.5 days).
If you tap 4 times a day, you’ll earn 1,800 blueprints a day, and five donuts from the plant every 14th day (13.9 days).
If you tap 5 times a day, you’ll earn 2,250 blueprints a day, and five donuts from the plant every 12th day (11.1 days).
If it’s still 200 donuts for the plant, it would take you:
740 days (over 2 years) to recoup the cost if you tap 3 times a day
556 days (over 1.5 years) to recoup the cost if you tap 4 times a day
444 days (over 1.2 years) to recoup the cost if you tap 5 times a day
It would really have to be a good deal to make it worth it, especially for a new player.
I am just thinking it not worth it for the donuts. If I was early KEM farmer, I would use the 200 donuts for Mystery Boxes. But I would ignore the monorail altogether unless I really like monorails. Better to use the characters to earn cash (or do daily challenges – I am getting a lot of 6 donuts challenges recently). If I really like monorails I might spend the to by the Lisa’s RP. That would allow me to slowly accumulate rails (and get a few donuts in return) with little effort while I concentrate on building my bonus .
Absolutely agree. It is more of an investment for those planning elaborate Monorail routes in their Springfield. I don’t think it’s a good investment at all from the perspective of earning donuts.
Now this makes me wonder…. should I be doing the monorail farming for donuts at all? I already have more than I’d ever need and already have a monorail snaking throughout my entire town. Should I just stop for a while and see what putting all of my characters to use would do? And spend my current donuts on mystery boxes? I am up to 355% and get around 6-9 donuts every 4 hours KEM farming. Mystery boxes seem like a waste of a good pile of donuts as they would only produce 1/4? 1/3? of the good stuff ( donuts or % bonus) from say, a 100 donut mystery box spree, right?
6 donuts Mystery Boxes return 1%bonus per 7.9 donuts (in the long run), best deal after beach hideaway. And if you have spare land, you can place the Lard Lads for cash income.
I personally would get the characters before the Recycling Centre.

Lisa gets a better return on the eliminator. Do you have a breakdown of hours per donut per character? For example, if I send Lisa to Conquer the Eliminator she earns 420 for 12 hours plus she has a chance for a nuke. I have a bonus of 2845 so that is about 30 *$420 = $12,600. I currently earn 294,740XP per KEM. That is 3.4 KEM per (1-3) donuts.$14,400 *.75 = $10,800. $10,800 * 3.4 = 3$6,720. $36,720/$12,600 = 2.92 12 hours shifts for Lisa.
Since the bonus doesn’t effect blueprints.
In that same time period Lisa could earn 35 shifts picking trash. That would be 350 cans. I have task of 774 Blueprints for 60 cans = 4430 blueprints. Which is 5 donuts * 4430/ 24,975 = .89 donuts. So I can either send Lisa to eliminator collecting every 12 hours for 1-3 donuts and maybe a nuke or send Lisa to collect trash every hour over the same time period for .89 donuts.
If I go to my game once a day, I can collect a 1-3 every 3 days sending to Lisa to the eliminator plus I may get a nuke. If I go my game 6 times a day it would take over six days for 1 donut.
Are there any plans to do anything more with Springfield Heights? It was fun getting to the billion dollar level, but since then it’s just a dead zone. I’ve put most of my buildings in storage mostly because they earn no income and also for space reasons. Getting daily chores involving the building items are annoying too, several times I’ve had to buy things and just put them right in storage just to get a few more useless building materials. I have well over 1,000 smart devices and got a job to craft those after I dismissed the original job. Glad I have the mini game that gives you 2 smart devices every play. I’d hate to try and get rid of over 700 of these just for a daily bonus of 5.
In case you weren’t aware, there are hidden xp bonus % for all the SH main buildings but they have to be placed to receive them. If you have them all stored, you are missing out on around 150% extra bonus. This page has the info (at the very bottom of the page):

Also, if you tap a third time for the daily challenge (wait 12 hrs, an “x” will show up again), you almost always get a job for donuts.

hey, occasionally my town will just change the skin of some of the buildings, (parking lots become houses, etc). why, and how do i stop it? I’m only level 60 and don’t have tons of stuff
Happens all the time to me. Just keep playing, it will fix itself. If it annoys you try the move tool or go to Krustyland and back.
yeah, i just wonder if there is a perminent fix
Question, I’ve been playing now for several years. Recently I’ve picked up a bug in my game where I cannot use the top left icon to tap on a character who has finished a job or is needing something to do. This is aggravating and have not been playing as often. Also my rail yard is telling me to check back next week, where I use to continue and earn bonuts. I have restarted my phone and have contact EA with no results. Any suggestions ?
Did you accidentally turn off your task book (bottom left corner)?
I’ve uninstalled and restarted my phone twice. Finally got up with EA and had to jump through there hoops. When that didn’t work they accessed my game. The tech stated that he has seen it in several games recently and that he would email me when they get a fix. Luckily I’m finished with event, and decided to take a break from the game
Same thing happened to me. I emailed EA and they rolled back my account which fixed my game. The rollback cost me a the new character from this mini event and 4 million in Springfield Heights real estate value. The character was unlocked and I finished his quest line, and with the event ending on the 21st, there is zero chance for me to finish unlocking him without donuts. Oh well I guess, at least the game is fixed.

Same thing just happened. also my tap radius is back to level 1 despite saying it’s at level 9.
Overall, I have enjoyed playing this game with a few exceptions. 1) I’m not thrilled with the fact that after a certain point we can’t buy land. 2) the prizes in the mini games don’t change out for new prizes. 3) there is no way to clear a lot of the clutter we don’t want out of our inventory. I also wouldn’t mind a building or button that allows me to collect from all eligible buildings with one tap and another that allows me to send all eligible characters on a single quest. (We have the unemployment building for general quests why can’t we have one for when they want to send my characters on a specific quest). Other than that, I’m very happy with this game.
I would like it if EA made the IRS Drone collect income from all buildings at least once a day. There is apparently a button to collect from all character jobs that was included with the Unemployment Office Job Manager update in 2015 but is unreleased in the game so maybe some day EA can add it to the game.
That was a great episode. I haven’t laughed out loud to one that much in a long time. They really had the style of 70’s shows down pat. And Bill Hader as Manacek was perfect.

hey, is buying mystery boxes from burns a good idea at first? if you dont have a lot of donuts, or premium stuff? i have about 34 donuts. save, or spend?
6 more and you will be able to buy beach hideaway , fully upgraded giving you 20 % bonus , cost only 40 donuts 🙂

After buying the beach hideaways, it is the best way to increase cash and bonus. Average of 7.9 donuts per 1% increase in the long run, plus Lard Lads that generate cash. In my test game, I am on day 287 from the start of the game and have a bonus level of 2438.02.

No, it’s actually 20.0%, not 2.0% for the Beach Hideaway. It remains the best donut to % purchase in the game.
When you get the rest of pieces it becomes 20%, for 100% total.
I just looked at mine and it says 2.00%. Is there something I m not aware of? I wish I could post a screenshot I took i the description.
When you place all the parts that come with it, it will go up to 20%.
Nothing is going on in my game now. I have sent all characters on a 24 hr task and will return to the game again 24 hrs later and check on the time needed to harvest the town, and to take note on the cash and donuts collected. In pre 2018 days on my old handphone, it took me an hour to clear my town and to play the bonus level up
I keep hoping that one day they are going to put out a way to search for items rather then scrolling and scrolling to find something. The worst is when you’ve scrolled to the end and it only let’s you put one item down and it closes the box so you have to scroll all the way to the end again and again. After playing for almost 5 years I’ve acquired a lot of stuff.
I had the same problem when placing multiple houses. One thing I found is that if I scroll to the object I want and immediately close the storage without placing anything (using the cross not the back arrow) then when I open up the storage again it is where I left it and it will continue to return to the same place each time you place an item.
Just a shout out to all my visiting faithful friends! Especially those who have been visiting my Krustyland! Great to mix things up and visit yours for a change, and remind me that I have one!
I wish EA recognized how much our neighbors add to our enjoyment of the game, and rewarded us with more activities other than the occasional donut.
I need help.. im level 60, behind on quests by about 30 levels, and am loosing inspiration… any advice on what to do? what to build? where do i go? i just want a nice springfield with creatively built stuff… please send help
Just hang in there it’s a long road ahead .
You will eventually get through it .
Maybe try doing the short hour jobs while you’re awake and then the long hour jobs while you’re asleep .
Try to do them even during events maybe just one or two .

Relax. Don’t worry about being behind. Just enjoy the conversations and the quests. In the meanwhile, start KEM farming and house farming and buying 6 donuts Mystery Boxes. Soon enough (9 months or so if you are aggressive) you will have donuts and cash enough to buy the things you missed, the items you want and the land you need. Remember, it is just a game. Maybe start a second game so if an event or mini-event excites you, you can concentrate on that in one game and the other proceeding along.
Patience is the only answer to your concern.
Once you get through those tasks and any others they unlock, the game does get more manageable after level 60. You end up with enough in game cash from all of your items and characters to embark on Kwik-E-Mart farming, Again, with patience, that will unlock the ability to acquire any premium items you wish, no real world money spent.
However, in this game, you are constrained by completing all of the tasks associated with getting through to the end of level 60.

Very frustrated with this rollback glitch I have in my one Springfield. Anybody have any suggestions that went/are going through it? I asked in the post dedicated to it, but didn’t get much of a response. Should I continue playing? What kind of tips, suggestions, etc., do you all have for dealing with this? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!
For the record, I have contacted EA via the link in the dedicated post to this glitch on Thursdat and haven’t heard a lick from them.
Email to them is the slowest option. I think they have a disclaimer of 48 hours, which if you did it late Thursday would bump up against the weekend. Calling isn’t so bad. I have done it once or twice. Just be succinct in what you are after. At this point I think the glitch is well known and they can direct you to someone who can help.
What’s the number to call them? I can’t find it anywhere.
When you’re in your game, go into your inventory. In the upper right corner of the pop-up box is a “get help” button. Hit it and it will walk you thru the help options…choose to open a case and get a “call back”. This option has always resulted in a call from them within a couple hours, sometimes within 10 minutes. 🤓
Happy Sunday everyone and a belated St. Patrick’s Day. I have really liked this current mini event in the game and the two other updates with it (episode tie in and teaser), I liked that the mini event did relate to St. Patrick’s Day, if it counts as one I would say that this has been the best St. Pats update in the last few years. I did wish that EA added the green rivers this time but it was still a good update that was easy enough to finish early. I have also started designing a St. Patricks parade area in my town with the new items and some old items from the event while the rest can be placed in other parts of Springfield and I’m already starting to create a little Ireland area with the pub, café and other previous items from updates. 🍻 🍀☘️ 😀
Non TSTO comment: it has been a snowy St. Patrick’s Day weekend in the UK that some other commenters have already mentioned but this month has had more snow than December, January and February has had so hopefully this will be the last bit of winter this season and start on the spring next and then Easter. ❄️⛄🍫🥚🌈🌼
Has anyone worked out whether Brandine adds enough to your monoril donut yeild over 90 days to make it worth just paying 30 donuts to speed through her pregnancies? My in-my-head calvulations are that it is a pretty close call, wondering if anyone has done more thorough calculations.
Haven;t worked anything out.. but she does help when are are on events and when you have to use characters for event quests/tasks. I went and paid donuts to get though all her pregnancies and in the long run it paid off.
Me too, she was too valuable to keep out of the game that long.
I sat through pregnancy 1, fast forwarded 2 and will skip through 3 when i have a spare 30 donuts. I worked out that in Monorail farming alone she probably nets around 40 donuts over a 90 day period.
I didn’t get the new episode tie-in character, but half way through the episode and he’s won me over. As soon as the episode is over, I’m getting him.
I love him even more now. It’s a shame he punched a woman and an old man.
I liked him to! 150 Donuts..not sure though. Might have to wait for SIB..tasks etc. Love that they dedicated show to Stephen Hawking.

I remember Banachek from the 70’s he was a private eye (like most programs back then) he lived in Boston and rowed a skull boat. It was George Peppard and he drove a custom convertible Packard at first then an assortment of custom hot rods all built by George Barris (Batmobile and monkeys car) later I believe. It didn’t last very long on TV only a couple of years’ something to do with money and a scandal. He worked for an art insurance company.

I also received a short 6-donut task recently. Haven’t had one that lucrative in awhile!
In the span of a week (I saved my event daily challenges and they flipped to regular non event tasks) I’ve gotten 2 6-donut tasks, 3 3-donut tasks, and 3 one donut tasks (and those took 60 seconds to complete) so it has been a very donutty week for me, I spend 100 donuts on burns mystery boxes and I’m quickly back up close to 50 donuts if you include completing daily challenges and final prize and monorail farming and where’s maggie
Like Safi says, we get a new free banner and the good thing about it is that it can be placed over roads.
My biggest disappointment in this last mini event is that they introduced Meathook without an animated motorcycle ride task. I was hoping to add him to my Springfield biker gang along with Buddha, Cregg Demon, Fr. Sean, and Mindy. At least Ramrod knows what’s up.
Does anyone know the exatct date the update will be released, and if we will have to manually update in the App Store or if it will be automatic? I recently just got back into this game when I returned about a week before Bart Royale Hit and me and my friend are addicted!

Got to admit the sparkle has been lost for me lately in the game, feel its mostly habit rather than enjoyment and even if I spent some cash on donuts to buy some premium characters there are still a few I don’t have, but don’t think it would make much difference in my enjoyment in playing, the game needs to go in a different direction with new ways to collect and generate event currency, happy tapping if you can get it.

We’ve had A Lot of snow here again. Now, I like winter as much as the next man (unless the next man doesn’t like winter, in which case I like it more than the next man), but this is getting silly. It’s springtime on Wednesday and I would quite like it to start feeling like that.

So my rain dance continues to be effective but no word yet if I’ve managed to get it to rain in the right areas. The silence suggests not… 😞 Water restrictions have been tightened and people are encouraged to try use less than 60 liters a day. Think I’m quite a bit below that but will see if I can keep it there or less! My garden (such as it is 😊) continues to look nice and green from the light rain but I did have to water some of my pot plants because they are under big trees and so don’t catch much rain. Fortunately I can use rainwater for that and the tank has already replaced what I used!
I’ve realized that most of my unpacking is done! However, there is still loads of rearranging to do so I’m not yet done! Made a big dent in it today but now I’m too tired (& smelly) to clean my house. Fortunately I’m a relatively tidy boy so it’s not bad at all but had hoped to give it a nice clean for the week. We do have a public holiday on Wednesday so I might just leave it until then 😄
So I finished the mini event on Sunday or Monday but still no designing being done. Hoping that inspiration will hit but Robin Hobb’s Tawny Man series keeps distracting me 😄

As for tsto land… another day of futile searching for my gnome. He escaped around August last year and has been missing ever since. Once a month I spend a few hours, hide buildings etc, do the gnome hunt. I can’t even “find Maggie” ever, so yup, no luck finding pesky gnome. *crossing fingers and toes he will appear during next months “great search”*
Have you ever tried storing and replacing the box? Maybe the gnome will come back that way. 🙂

Just downloaded the first Tawney Man book onto my Kindle and iPhone (always looking for a great read) and added the Audible version as well, so I can listen on my trip. Have you read any of Kevin Hearne’s Iron Druid books? Fun to find well written fantasy with a sense of humor (most writers seem to take themselves so seriously), so it’s a treat to find an intelligent protagonist who can still be a smart-ass👍😆.

How we get on the list stays between the listed and MAB. MAB is quite demanding. Needless to say, if you give in and get added to the list, you will probably end up asking yourself was it worth it. I know I ask myself that question every time the list is posted on Sunday.

I know it’s only a game, but this is my little bit of escapism 🙈🙁😥
Do you have more than one game? Does the bug extend to it? If not, you might want to start another game just as a backup/test confirmation that it may be your device.
It’s the same bug I had at the beginning of the year and I know now much of this community have also experienced it so it’s not my divice. Just hope EA fix it quicker than last time, it took 2 months last time!!
Then I humbly suggest you start a second game – KEM and house farm it. Then you still play the events and in less then a year be able to buy all the premium items you want.
