I’m not sure if this has been addressed or discussed… But in my town, I’m unable to send my characters on jobs by clicking the character profile top left of the screen. I literally have to tap on the character to send them and/or relieve them once they are done. Is there a cure for this glitch?
Wow I didn’t even know there was an event going on, yet I’ve been playing everyday. I thought they let you know you have to update to continue playing. Guess not. Oh well guess I’ll miss this event
I keep getting kicked out of my EA account. It takes at least half an hour to download every time I try to access it. Does anyone know what’s happening cause if it doesn’t stop I’m giving up on this event. I haven’t got 30 minutes every 4 hours to wait for everything to download. This started last night for me your help would be appreciated

I just got my Museum today! Many nice emails with EA. I’m behind but phew!
I love the latest event! My Springfield is about to grow IMMENSELY! I’ve been clearing so much land and reorganizing large swaths in anticipation of all the large, amazing-looking buildings to come! Has anyone noticed that when you tap on Act 3, the “hold up” message is accompanied by the MoHo House skyscraper? That’s been a Building I’ve wanted for SO LONG!
I’d like to ask a question about crafting, since the format is different this time, is it a reasonable assumption that all items will be available for the full event? Now I’m at 20% I don’t really want to craft more 🏠 🏡 yet, keeping my options open 😉 thank you 😊🇬🇧
That is correct. The crafting just keeps adding new items with each Act. So…you can still craft Italian stuff, when England hits. I personally think it wise to stop crafting once you have reached the 20% and just stockpile currency to get a jump when Act II hits.

Dear all, would it be a good idea to choose small craftable items? Judging from the preview in my game it looks like the Grand Canal building number four is the smallest and the gondola also looks small. Is it a clever idea to craft small items in order to be able to place more of them in the Bonus area?
If you place multiple (4) gondolas, the davinci flyer and the cheese truck, you don’t have to worry about houses at all. Would have a much smaller footprint that way.
I’m really enjoying this event. Like Dr Cheeks, I’m a little behind and I’d love to be getting more plunder but I’m not particularly worried about things at this stage.
I still visit Other Springfield occasionally (in addition to *actual* friends. I love it when I get to tap Bob. It’s great having him and the family in my town but there’s a lot of nostalgia for the old version.
Also, my XP collider ran down the other day. It had been so long since I’d seen the XP bar go pink! Thankfully, no harm done and only a couple of taps tapped.
Finally, I was thinking about the App version of this site (I prefer the site) and that made me think about your App developer. Hopefully they – and the rest of Puerto Rico – are doing ok!
Is anyone else not getting crooks in their town after you get notifications that a neighbour has given you one cause I’m not and it’s teally annoying. I’m about 3 days behind can’t seem to get any currency
Yes this is also happening to me. My husband and I both play, I send crooks to his town and they are there to tap. He sends them to my town and they never show. I watch him send them in and then the notification doesn’t show up for hours. Maybe that is why you aren’t seeing them, they are already gone. But I am checking right after he places them and they are just not there. 🙁🙁🙁
Glad I’m not the only one. There seems to be a lot of glitches going on with this event. It’s just starting to irritate me now. Fingers crossed they fix it soon. Good luck 😊
Hi dear addicts, is there an ideal order to start the different railyard jobs? First dump, next metal, plastic or glass?
How often do you do KEM farming a day? If done too often per day, I can’t afford 36 KEM (the number that works for Patric). How can I find the ideal KEM number for my Springfield’s income and the times a day I can play it? Maybe just always the number of KEMs that lets me have 300.000 $ left for the donut search after Where’s Maggie?
How do you think compare bloodmobiles to the railyard? They take away the money that one needs for KEM farming, right?

After clearing the current event’s justice officers, the game shows a pop up that (roughly translated in English) says that now all justice officers and criminals are cleared – check back later again. But I saw on two occasions that after this pop up was shown, there were still crooks in my town. So the pop up is only reliable regarding the officers but not the crooks. Did you encouter or hear about this issue?

That is a LOT of questions in one post… probably like three posts worth. But, I’ll try to answer in short bursts, before I give up. My answers in BOLD.
How often do you do KEM farming a day? EVERY 4 Hours when I am farming. But, I lay off every so often. If done too often per day, I can’t afford 36 KEM (the number that works for Patric). How can I find the ideal KEM number for my Springfield’s income and the times a day I can play it? You need to send ALL of your characters on 4-hour tasks…then see how much you earn. That is approximately how much you can afford to spend on KEMs every 4 hours. Maybe just always the number of KEMs that lets me have 300.000 $ left for the donut search after Where’s Maggie? Didn’t understand this question at all…sorry.

I don’t recommend bloodmobiles (or Rattrap Trucks) for people starting out…uses too much cash for the xp% earned. Stick with KEMs and Railyard until you are no longer worried about your daily cash intake (when you are a millionaire👍💰👍). 😁
You can gain from a KEM farm with 6 even with the XP collider off. Make your farm as big as you feel comfortable. If you use your donuts to buy 6 donuts Mystery Boxes you will increase your bonus (billboards, vans) and cash(Lard Lads). As you gain more cash you can buy more KEMs and land. If you farm a lot the XP collider (25 donuts -10 days is a real good deal). Do NOT pay to buy extra donuts with Maggie. Better to use that cash farming. ADD house farming to gain more cash (move them to the edge so you can get rid of them once you have increased your bonus significantly).
Just from the comments under this post alone it seems like the rollback glitch seems to have increased its range, hitting more and more players now. I’m anxious to hear what the agent has to say when I call them later today. Rolling back so many games manually doesn’t make any sense any more, there ought to be a programmatic cleanup put in place to fix the games.
The person I talked to said they are coding a patch such a fix. I have read other comments that they are still going to roll-back after the patch. EA support really doesn’t seem to work that closely with the development team.
My game was rolled back yesterday to Saturday’s state. I’m now a bit behind the calendar, but should be able to catch up. I was ahead twho days bit before the rollback due to several premium characters helping with heists.
I’d also be highly suprised if they made (a) the fix to prevent corruption from happening and (b) apply a repair patch to fix already corrupted games. I do agree, still having to rollback after the fix has been released is more likely to happen.

Assigned oodles of Springfielders to this task. Every time it is completed, and I collect the $ and XP, they ALL just go right back in to do it AGAIN.

I can’t be bothered with this event. Just a ton more crap to put into inventory. I seem to be against the grain: a couple other events I loved, everyone hated and this one, everyone loves and I’m out!
In other news, I graduated uni last week! The ceremony isn’t til July though. Still, it’s very exciting! I’m the only one in my immediate family to have gone to uni so it’s extra special to have seen it through to the end.

I just finished building the Cathedral. However, I was a little disappointed that neither the “pope” came with it or was offered for donuts. We have rabbis, ministers, Budda, and many others so why not offer the “pope” as well. In today’s satirical world, the tasks for such a character are endless. Oh well, maybe he will be offered in the future. If so, and I’m still playing, I’ll pick him up then.
I expect the Pope to become available as premium purchase later in the event.
I just think it was funny that our Jesus Christ character was able to be sent to get the Pope’s blessing…..

This is so disappointing missing out on this event on the glitch . I feel so helpless even after 2 emails to ea with no response
Has anyone else experienced this? The character auto locate key (upper left hand corner of screen) has not worked since the last update. The turbo tapping radius ismuch smaller, no donuts for working on the monorail, Burn’s pile of rich people stuff srunk. EA has been informed with no response.

Yep!! Mine has been like that for almost 2 weeks now. It’s maddening, but I don’t want to rollback, because I’ll lose all my progress. There’s allegedly an update coming out with a patch to fix this, but it’s yet to be seen.
You have the rollback glitch, becoming more and more popular in people’s game. EA is supposedly working on a patch now to fix it.
Had the exact same issue during the last event. Solution that worked for me was calling EA and they rolled my game back to a previous date before the glitch hit. That means all progress since then will be gone, but tap radius, character locator, and your stuff will be back.
I just got back from my vacation and have about 9400 in prize track currency, along with the cheese truck, gondola and Grand Canyon building. I hope I dont have a hard time finishing this act.
I’ve gotten 300 prize track currency from daily challenges, what are the potential daily challenge prizes?
This event is meh. Still trying to get one everything but looks like most will sit in storage. I hate that the center looks like crap during all new events now. There is no way to get the bonus and make it look good. The buildings are cute but why do we need another set of buildings that do not generate income? Not excited about any of it. I have been playing since 2012 this is, imho, the worst event ever cannot wait untill its over and I will forget it ever happened.

New episode was best in a while imo.
However as for my game still awaiting a Rollback from EA. Over a week and waiting. Called them again Friday and talked to a tech who seemed to more then most. Yet have not received a update from the specialist team that does rollbacks. Which I was promised within 2 hours of last call.
So this event is a write off for me. The few things I can do will be rolled back to about 4 days before event started ( someday in the future at EAs convenience). Can’t even get to freinds towns.
One month after my Dad had a stroke, he is back in the hospital. A heart attack this time. I am so very scared! He is very young for this, 66. I’m very proud of my mom who is a worrier, she is holding up very well! I am not! I am so scared, I cannot handle the thought of losing him! So please, prayers and thoughts for my Daddy!
Hang in there! Been in same spot with my parents. You’re not alone..if you need company spend more time with friends and family.. that’s what there for.
