As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the Returning Pont du Gard or Chateau Masion to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding these throwbacks to your town…
Note: Chateau Maison is slated to hit our games on Sunday (4/1). I’m covering it in this post because Sunday is Easter, so I won’t be writing about it then. And a bunch of other content will be hitting early next week. So I figured a litle early sneak peek on it would be ok. And hey if EA doesn’t end up releasing it…no harm, no foul.

What Does It Do: Building for Springfield. Comes with a questline, which will give you a restored look. Also comes with the Grape Vat, which comes with a task for Bart
My Opinion On It Now: Fun item. I like it. Donut price is a little steep, but I think it’s worth the investment (especially with the animated task for Bart)

I do not have the pope, the screen is locked on update available, try to update and brings me back to update available.
As a premium player, I got ‘em both back when they first came out. Pont du Gard was a have-to-have, since we (my wife and I) have been there… it’s a pretty good likeness!
I like items that either add to my bonus % or make me $.
So Pont Du Gard is a pass, Chateau Maison I’ll buy b\c I started playing durung that event, and missed getting it.

I’ve had Chateau Maison since it was originally released. I love the skin options and frequently swap between them. I ended up storing the grape vat though, because the task was stuck at the top of Bart’s list and more than once I sent him to do it when I didn’t intend to, because I was tapping at speed.
That task with Bart at the grape vat (and the one where he is at the Yard Work Simulator) was moved to the other 4 hour tasks he has instead of being at the top when this event started, it also removed the task with Gina Vendetti and moved Birch Barlow’s 3 hour task away from the top of the list to in between his 1 hour and 4 hour tasks.
I also had the Chateau Maison since it was first released and change the skins every few months, if I could get another one (legally) available for the same price then I would have one Chateau run down and the other renovated, I also feel the same way about the Coconut Babaloo. 😀
Thank you so much!! I saw that Birch had changed but missed those other elements. I sold (!) Gina a long time ago because that bugged me so much and the vat has been in storage. Yet again the TSTO Addicts community delivers.

Stomping grapes in the wine vat is one of my top three jobs for Bart…right behind Ride the Mech🤖 and Control the Mechanical Ants 🐜🐜🐜🐜.😁

Probably picking up Chateau Maison when it hits, been waiting for it to come back around. I really like the look of Pont du Gard but can’t justify spending donuts (right now at least) on something that does absolutely nothing… wish it had a bonus %
