Time for Heisting in Springfield! New event means all new content, and of course loads of returning content! Lots of items to drop those sprinkles on…
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the Returning Le Krusty Burger or Moog to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding these throwbacks to your town…
Note: Moog is slated to hit our games on Saturday (4/7). I’m covering it in this post because it’s a weekend, new Act is hitting & it just makes sense to knock it out sooner rather than try to squeeze it in in during the new Act content. So I figured a litle early sneak peek on it would be ok. And hey if EA doesn’t end up releasing it…no harm, no foul.

What Does It Do: Skin for Moe. As of right now it does not earn at a premium rate
My Opinion On It Now: Meh. This was free in 2014, but it’s still meh. The 6s task is nice if you’re looking to earn some extra cash…but you’ll have to spend some time sitting there to really make it worth it. You’re better off saving your donuts on this one.

I would say Moog is a pretty good choice is you play regularly. You don’t have to tap him a lot. Just assign him to his 6-second task, and as you clear your town, keep sending him repeatedly. The extra income isn’t a big deal for longtime players, but if you’re fairly new to the game, it’s going to help a lot. At the very least, it helps offset the cost of using the unemployment office. The only catch is with Moe being one of the core characters, he’s usually one of those necessary for event grinding.
If you can get the Radioactive Man Film Set from a mystery box, get it. It essentially gives Wolfcastle a 6-second premium task, so long as you don’t complete the side quest. And unlike Astronaut Homer or Moog, Wolfcastle is rarely picked for events, so the only time you’d not be able to use him is when you get one of those ‘send Springfielder’s mass tasks.
I wonder if the two premium ghost dudes are separate characters, if they are premium… the castle and 2 spirits for 175 donuts in the store… i am looking at them with hope… I really hope they are worth spending…
Yes, Westminster Abbey comes with two separate premium characters. Totally worth getting if you have the donuts to spend. So far it’s IMO the best buy of the event.

I’d consider spending Sprinkles on Le Krusty Burger (and French Waiter) if these “Network connection” issues would be taken care of (way to start Act 2, EA) 😬
well they were good for me this morning I was able to claim my bonus prize boughnuts about 4 times.

Sorry to be a bother, but since I only started playing this game (and get addicted in the process) when Act 3 of Bart Royale is ending, do we have to update the whole app on the app store or will it just load automatically?

Moog! I’ve been waiting for him. I don’t have any of the Clock worth orange skins. I know there’s one for Bart I’ve seen at neighbors but that’s all I have seen. Let Kristy burger is a nice looking building ,I got it during Destination.
I’ve had Moog since the free release and it’s one of my favorite skins. Maybe it’s because I love A Clockwork Orange or because Bart has the same Halloween costume but I adore it.
