Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Let the heisting begin! The latest event in Springfield, The Springfield Job, is all about pulling off elaborate Heists…well not too elaborate Homer is involved…in a bet between two Nuclear Power Plant owners.

Final Thought
Premium:
I like this trio and think it’s a good buy. If you figure about 50-60 donuts for the building, that’s 115-125 donuts for two characters. Very fairly priced. I like that they BOTH help with heists and that Oscar Wilde is voiced. I wish they both were, but hey one is better than none. Good buy. Not a must buy, but a good buy.
Freemium:
Not a bad pickup for freemium players. It checks a lot of the boxes and it’s two premium characters for your town. Again, not a must buy, but a good buy. Consider picking this one up
Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as a premium player, I picked this one up. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

What are your thoughts on Chaucer, Wilde & the Abbey? Will you be spending the donuts to bring them to your Springfield? Did you already? Why or why not? Where have you placed the Abbey in your Springfield? Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!
I missed the abbey and Buckingham palace. Do you think there will be a second chance?
I’m considering getting these but I’m hoping someone can answer my question first…
If I put Westminster Abbey away, do the ghosts stay in my town or are they stored too?
They’ll be stored
I bought this and am happy with the way premium characters. However the job for 1hr. Overrides all other 1 he. Jobs. And doesn’t pay premium for characters in premium skins.
Westminster Abbey, Oscar Wilde & Geoffrey Chaucer …. one could say this is the most epic Premium offered during the Event, however, I’m not spending Sprinkles until EA permanently fixes this Rollback Glitch with a Patch (sorry, but I need to put my foot down)!
I wonder why they elected to make these two ghosts, when we have live versions of many other historical figures. Oh well.
Both are buried in Westminster Abby, so it makes sense to me to have them as a bundle.
Wasn’t Oscar Wilde buried in Paris?
Yes he is. I’ve visited his grave. It’s the same cemetery as Jim Morrison.
Père Lachaise cemetery, we visited it last year
When they appeared in the show, they were ghosts in Homer’s dream.
Ah, sounds like the most likely reason. I don’t catch the new episodes regularly enough. :p
I didn’t know what episode they were from until a few days ago because it was the same episode that the Squidport Performers and decorations appeared in.
See below- Chaucer was buried there in poet’s corner. It makes sense he would haunt there.
Got them, but don’t see the option for them to contribute with heist. Help?!
Odd they should be able to immediately help. Mine do. They’re not listed when you tap Springfield Tower?
I don’t understand why they chose THESE two characters…they could choose any 2 famous British people to be characters, and they didn’t choose Shakespeare? Or Winston Churchill? Or Henry VIII or something? Just seems like a missed opportunity, I’ve never even heard of Chaucer.
Never had to read “The Canterburt Tales” from Geoffrey Chaucer? I did. It was even mandatory.
Some light 😈 reading:

These two are actually buried @ Westminster Abbey; Hence the choice. Did you ever see the Heath Ledger movie “A Knight’s Tale”? – Then you have seen a movie based on Chaucer’s work.
I’m currently donut mining w/ the collided on, and putting everyone to tour the Abbey for an hour is great. The ghosts do heists while the people tour, and make me $ to buy blood mobiles. It’s working great.
Pro: Maude won’t be alone…
Mona, Homer’s mother, is a ghost too.
Dotn get forget bleeding gums Murphy.
You are right! Lisa and him played some very good saxamaphon music.
Krusty’s dad too
Mona is protesting in my Springfield and Rabbi Krustovsky is giving as B.S. “sermon”. Both haven’t shed their earthly coil (yet)
