Wondering if you should add the Returning Buckingham Pay-Less Motel or Big Digi-Ben to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding these throwbacks to your town…

My Opinion On It Now: It was originally a prize way back during Winter 2015…so back then it was free. I own this, I don’t hate it but I wouldn’t pay donuts for it. And neither should you. Pass.

What Does It Do: It’s a clock, it tells time. In digital format.
My Opinion On It Now: Meh. I wasn’t a huge fan of it when it first hit…i’m still not a fan now. Sure it tells time…but so does your phone, tablet, watch, alarm clock, wall clock cable box, computer…not worth it for that alone IMO.
What are your thoughts on the returning items? Will you be spending donuts to bring any of these throwbacks to your Springfield? Why or why not? Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!
I need smaller buildings for my Intenational big mini golf course, like an English pub crawl.Even though the Nag and Weasel is almost as tall as the Basilica, that, The Boiled Potato and Darby O’Guzzlins fits in better with the theme than places like Buckingham Palace.
I’ve been tempted by digi Ben before but now that it comes with a rebate, I’m most likely in.
Not spending Sprinkles until a permanent solution is offered for this Rollback Glitch (EA can “Go Buy A Vowel” !) 😠
I already have both from previous events and I’m actually quite fond of them, I will be moving them into the vicinity of my other British buildings once the event is over.
The building I’d really like to see return is the “Magic Station” released last year… I missed out on that, and being based on King’s Cross it would be the perfect addition to my little London-themed area when it’s finished.
I like having a clock in the game, and now I can move Big Digi-Ben to my British area. I have the hotel also, and could take or leave that.
I’d have picked up Digi Ben if it was offered in my game, but sadly, it isn’t. It’s one of those things that I drooled over when it first came out but didn’t have the doughnuts to spend on it.

Digi Ben tells the local time of your pad/phone.

Same here. I thought maybe they were bundled, since if you have one part of a bundle you cannot get the rest separately , which has annoyed me in the past.

I think that the clock is one of the greatest innovations in the game and I love it. I play on my phone and frequently play when I’m out and about. In those situations my phone is my timepiece and when I’m playing it’s great to be able to track time without shutting down the game and going back in.
I loved the Pay less motel, and the price was just right. 50 donuts for one building, is about what I like to pay! Plus I love red and white buildings, I’ve got a whole block of red and red and white buildings. Ooooo yeah! I’ve got some sprinkles just waiting to be spent, but so far the Pay less motel is the only thing that I’ve liked enough to purchase.

Not sure where to post this. Is any one else having trouble with Act 2 crafting items still being locked even though I finished Act 1 quests with time to spare? I have contacted EA 4 times with no resolution.
So if you visited a friend’s town who has the clock It tells current, real time? No matter what timezone or country said friend is in?
Digi Ben tells the local time.I don’t know if you get a different time on a visitor’s DB if he/she is living in a different time zone.
Ya always thought it would useful to know what time of day it is in a friend’s town when dropping off crooks like in this event. More likely to find them at 3 pm rather then 3 am

Two characters to help with the event and a building vs one character that helps and a building…the math is in favor of the Abbey. I have both and would have a tough time choosing, but I’d probably go with the Abbey for now, and try to get the store later. Also, if you’re going to build a British area, the Abbey has more regional “punch” than the store.

I noticed that Buckingham Pay-Less Motel now has a 4 hour task for Grampa here to “Inspect Motel” so it can be a pro to spend donuts on it with the task added here. I had Big-Digi Ben since it was first released but I had it in the inventory because it looked out of place in a futuristic Springfield until this update appeared, released some more England items and that it can look good in a little London area of Springfield along with the motel.

I bought de Digi Ben just for the reason that it tells the time,… the time to got o bed and stop tapping 💤💤💤
My problem is that I know it’s time to go to bed, but still tap for another hour😴😴😴.
