Just a reminder that Act 2 of the Springfield Jobs Event…Ends MONDAY April 23rd at 1400 GMT (10am ET). (I’ll remind you again during Sunday’s Open Thread)
Also an IMPORTANT REMINDER…Starting tomorrow (Saturday) save your Daily Challenges (you can complete them, just don’t claim them), so that on Monday when Act 3 hits you’ll be ahead of the game.
Once the Act 2 is over you will no longer be able to earn Crown-Less Jewel Prizes for free. So get everything you can before it’s all gone! (but remember to keep earning Jewels if you haven’t unlocked all of the prizes because the closer you get to unlocking the next prize the lower the donut cost would be should you need to purchase it when the next Act starts…)
Crafting will STILL be available in the next Act.

Act 3 has started! Decent mox of buildings & characters. 4 mins in and I already have 20% bonus on my new heist site so back to grind….
I finished act 2 about 6 days ago and the game only let me start collecting jewels for donuts this morning, bad form EA

Just now I noticed that ALL of my ACT 2 crafting items ARE LOCKED, AGAIN. Has anyone else noticed this in their game? When is this bulls#&t going to get fixed? It is now actively affecting my event 🙁
Yup – the bug hits me several times a day and it keeps things locked – but it unlocks the act 1 land token 😉
I did not get an update notification till there was only 2 days left for act 1, even though i play ever day,
so i did not get to craft Primo. In Plunders, its not letting me craft the booths even though i have act 2 already unlocked. Is it because of missing out on Primo or is this the glitch that was mentioned? In past events it has never done that. Can anyone help?!
Just make sure that you finish the Act 2 quest entirely. That is what triggered the bonus jewel collecting for me so I assume it will also let you into Act 3 now.
I did not get Primo during Act 2, although I got far enough that I was able to buy him for 15 donuts. So I don’t think not getting Primo is your problem. It’s more likely an incomplete quest line. It doesn’t sound like the infamous glitch(es).
I’m really liking this event. I caught myself today worrying that there were only 18 days left! I have never felt like that before. Act 3 could be rubbish – which I don’t think it will be – and I would still be earning plunder to get desirable craftables, striving for donuts to buy premium items from the first two acts, visiting friends to see their designs, and probably racing through the prize track to take advantage of the generous bonuts. In fact, I feel so good about the event, I may even buy a mystery box or two (despite my oft-professed contempt for them!)

Non TSTO tidbit… Free HBO and Cinemax this weekend…too cheap to spring for it, but I do love me some John Oliver on Sunday nights😍.
If only. They would let you. Grind for donuts to get the HBO…

Finished act 2 a few days ago, but now the game is struck by the Rollback Glitch😭

I’m glad today, Saturday is the day to start saving collection of Daily Tasks. I reminded everyone yesterday to do so and this morning I promptly forgot.

I’d suggest to also save crafting currency from now on so you can get the things needed to unlock the final act scene as soon as you can after logging in just in case that nasty rollback bug hits and locks you out of crafting more than act 1 prizes (again in some cases – mine too as it happens)
Being weird I look forward to the reoccurring rollback bug hitting me now… every time it hits it lets me craft another free land token… if this keeps up I’ll have all the land unlocked by the time the event ends – at least there is ONE perk to all the other stuff not working.
I look forward to contracting the Flu bug each year and becoming ill.
I don’t eat and ‘easily’ lose many of those unwanted excess pounds and shrink my waist size.

Ah.. there be another positive side to not being able to craft act 2 stuff! After buying far too many Grand Canal houses (and buying the act 1 stuff a second time to see if that got Act 2 crafting unlocked again) I have stacks of currency left I’m hoping I can buy it all between starting act 3 and the bug hitting me again, as it will since it likes me so much.
Have you tried bug repellant..maybe a little “Deep Woods Off”?😁

Apparently it’s my pheromones or something – or perhaps my town is just *that* awesome (HA!) But I’m known to attract bugs – it’s why friends ask me to test things for them – if there is a bug I know I’ll get it – and then some 🙂
I have been chuckling over this for a while now – as you said what else is there, I’m not quitting over a few inconveniences (well ok I have ALL the issues that are going round but hey.. I can still play, it just takes more time) 🙂
