We’re about a week and a half away from the end of The Springfield Jobs. How are you doing with Act 3? Ready for it all to be over? What do you think is next in TSTO?

Wonder if I’m the only one getting frustrated. New building are costing upward of 175 donuts. I can’t but new land because there are no tokens available. But I’m sitting on $220 Million in cash and and wondering “What tthe heck for?” Why buy a new building for $15 worth of donuts that generates $300 if TSTO $s that you can’t spend?
just convert your cash into donuts, either buy rat trap trucks or KEM farm. Turn the XP collider on before buying.
I want EA to make it possible to buy land with donuts, if they won’t do it with cash. At this rate, it’ll take forever to get all the new land, and in the meantime I’m going to have to nuke some old area just to make the new one I want to make with the cool new buildings EA provided. I like all my old areas, so this is irritating.
I didn’t buy Jack the Ripper and Scotland Yard. Do you think we’ll see him for sale for a limited time at the end of the event.

I’ve crafted a bunch of buildings from this event for future use (terraced houses, canal-side houses) and don’t seem them anywhere in my inventory. Where should I look? I’ve tried Buildings, Decorations, Town Building… I just don’t see them.
They are categorised as decorations because they don’t have a build time or generate income. They should appear in the decorations section after the unique decorations since you can get more than one of each type of houses and canals. If you don’t see them in the decorations section then try looking in the main inventory instead by opening the inventory (don’t tap any icons) and keep scrolling left until you see them appear.
Sadly, I have been through ALL the Decorations and ALL of the Inventory, without finding them. Weird. I just hope they show up in there after the event is complete, and I don’t just lose all the ones I’ve made but stored.
I’ve had this happen before with crafted items (Rigellian fence pieces, at Christmas) that were never placed before storing. Now I always place anything crafted (or purchased, for that matter) before I store them. Haven’t ever “misplaced” anything since.
Good suggestion. I did a hard stop of the game, and the iPad, and the buildings are now showing in the Inventory. From now on, I’ll use your idea with crafted items!
Congrats Alissa (and hubby). I was watching “Bart vs Australia” to check the snake statue and saw “Shiva” running the world. There are almost always many good, tiny, clever bits in every episode!

Congrats Alissa! My wife and I got 4 and one on the way as well.
Unfortunately my town was hit work the rollback glitch last night. I was a kem farmer, but for now I don’t feel like it. Plus I’m about to head out on a deployment, so I’m going to spend that extra time with the family instead.

I’m expecting to get the final prize Tuesday having for the first time used some donuts to speed things up ( I desperately wanted that extra plot of land for a move around and my donut count was just over 4500).
I’ve finally decided that the whole of my Springfield Heights area has become my storage area for all those decorations etc that give us the bonuses plus my KEM farm and house farm. If my donut count ever hits 20,000 I will put it all in storage lol.
Now looking forward to the mini event… let’s hope it will be as entertaining as this event has been.
