Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Let the heisting begin! The latest event in Springfield, The Springfield Job, is all about pulling off elaborate Heists…well not too elaborate Homer is involved…in a bet between two Nuclear Power Plant owners.
Act 3 of the event brought one new premium character to Springfield, Raoul now joins the Foreigners Character Collection. And as with the vast majority of premium characters, he comes equipt with his own questlines. So let’s take a look at it now…
Because Raoul is the only true Act 3 Premium character, I’m going to give you the full dialogue version of his questline. There will be one other character coming to Springfield, but he’s part of a holiday celebration tie-in and not Springfield Jobs.

Raoul starts
Raoul: Abe Simpson, my good friend, so good to see you!
Abe: Raoul, you South Beach lounge lizard! What are you doing here instead of Miami?
Raoul: The times and the tides are changing. Literally, the rising oceans flooded my condo.
Abe: That’ll never happen here. We keep the water off the beach with giant piles of trash.

Raoul: There certainly are some repugnant piles of filth on this beach.
Moe: Why are you looking at me when you say that?

Raoul starts
Raoul: The Springfield beach is not for me, Abe. Nor for anyone who is not a professional trash picker.
Abe: So come hang out at the Retirement Castle. We’ve got some lovely wrinklettes who’d love to meet an eligible hottie like you. Here, take a look through our latest resident directory.
Raoul: Well, if I must.

Raoul: This town is no place for a stylish playboy of uncertain nationality. There is no Cuban cigar store, no place for a café con leche, and nobody else wearing flowery shirts with parrots. There’s only one thing to do. Play ukulele in my apartment. Care to join me Abe?
Abe: You bet! I love ukelele! Met her in the war and boy was she a great kisser.

Raoul: Oh, I bought a penthouse condo here from Mr. Burns. It comes with trap door that drops you thirty-seven stories.

Hey somethings wrong i suddenly got pie man doin missions n collecting Gold medals, among with other old tasks, and it says i have to reach act 3 to get the bonus stuff, but thats where we are already 😫 how to Contact EA and have the fix it? 🙄

Great news. EA rolled back my glitched account straight away. Huge thanks goes to Mr Jon Benedict of customer support, really helpful and polite guy. Phone call took about 20 minutes in total, 10 minutes of that was while the rollback was being applied. A++++++ to EA in my opinion.
This is good news…it at least makes it clear that if you get the RIGHT customer support person, EA can be very helpful. It also says they are finally aware of the problem…but, may just be inclined to fix it individually, than do a universal patch.
They admitted it straight away. I’m glad I called, fixing the glitch was only surpassed by one thing ….. JUST GOT MEXICAN DUFF MAN. I feel a rework of all my duff items coming on. Patric, to you sir I say “OH LA”
You were lucky I just got off the phone with EA and they had me uninstall/ reinstall then he said after I told him it didn’t work that he needed to get off the phone and was sending me 4 other things to try. I asked about rolling it back and he said I should try the 4 steps first. I received an email with my case and one how to troubleshoot if you have a problem. Was that it?

I’m EA I created TSTO I’ve been waiting for you. You have many questions. Although calling us repeatedly has altered your consciousness, you remain irrevocably human. Ergo, some of my answers you will understand, and some of them you will not. Concordantly, while your first question may be the most pertinent, you may or may not realize it is also irrelevant.
I swear the last time I called EA this is what the tech said..or maybe I was dreaming..

My Christmas tire fire fireplace is earning me participation awards. Yay
I’ve got nailed by this just today. Aside from having pie man jobs again, the only bad thing seems to be not able to click townsfolk in the top left to take me where they are to finish their jobs.
I’m a few hours away from completing last scene.. Don’t wanna call ea and have them take progress away 😪😫
Sorry to hear you are the latest Gltich victim. The only solution currently (and for the last 1 1/2 years since this Glitch was first introduced by EA in Nov 2016) is to roll back your game.
Politely (but firmly if needed) request a roll ASAP so you lose the least amount of progress possible.

My Springfield just went NUTS. Loads of old mini events came up but we’re completed and now I can’t select any of my characters using the icon in the top left corner. This is going to be a nightmare. Anyone else??
It is widely reported… do a google search on Rollback Glitch. Then contact EA.
Mine just did the same. Thought it was fixed with a patch? Obviously not. Can’t believe that this is still going on.
As Patrick said, search Google and you’ll find a shocking amount of posts. Worse, it appears EA staff don’t know how to fix it consistently either. Perhaps that’s why there is no fix yet?
