It’s time for a little mystery in Springfield! The latest mini-event to hit our games has caused us to put on our investigative hats to see just who shot Mr. Burns. Of course a new mini-event in town means a new opportunity for EA to add new premium items to our stores!
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Final Thought
Premium:
It’s a toss-up honestly. It’s a character/building combo, but it is overpriced. This one is going to come down to if you want it get it, otherwise pass because of the price tag.
Freemium:
It’s really pricey for a rare character, not essential to the show. I’d pass.
Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as a premium player, I picked it up. It’s overpriced, but I’m a sucker for a character/building combo. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

Can anyone confirm that he actually goes to a body of water to fish and isn’t just fishing wherever he’s standing?
For some reason it always irks me when a visual task is oddly out of place, like someone sitting on furniture in the middle of the street (Spucklers would be exempt from this example it it pertained, of course)
He requires the minnow pond to fish. Like Chalmers. So yes, he’ll go to the pond to fish.

I agree. Got it for some journalism to add to Springfield. Doubt Springfield changes (and would we really want it to?), but still nice to have.
Anyone else having problems logging back in since the update? There’s always an error when logging in
I haven’t had any problems logging in but man has it been laggy, almost unplayable unfortunately. I hope EA gets all these issues fixed asap…I know they are sadly losing players every single day over stuff like this. Good luck to ya

Yes you place the mansion and the pool goes into your inventory.
Under which inventory category? I cannot find it in the billion useless inventory items I cannot get rid of.

I would like to have a newspaper in town but this looks like a wait for Mystery Box or rebate for me.
The “items limit” has me looking a lot closer before I add a new building…this one just doesn’t scream “add me”. I’ll wait for a future vault or mystery box offering.

I would love to throw some donuts at EA; however, I can’t even get to the login screen. I am trying a reinstall on my kindle (B game), but I’m still just watching the donut spin forever on both my tablets right now. I’m a completist(ish) and getting nervous here….

I was gonna pass on this one but after seeing what his outdoor tasks are I have changed my mind.
Does the 8 hour task require Santa’s Little Helper and give an extra pay out on the task? It would be cool if it did because SLH doesn’t have any visual tasks. Off topic but has anyone noticed that the new skin for Springfield Elementary has given the school an income now.

I would get this but I’m holding off on spending real money until EA fixes the bugs happening; I’m leary I will lose stuff like before when I was hit by the rollback glitch and since this event started it’s been so laggy it’s not even fun to play right now : (
It would be cool if when you tapped it you got a dialogue box with the daily headline which could be a funny original or just a repeat of a billboard gag from an episode or a headline from the show (“Old Man shouts at Cloud” 😂).
Would love to see these little details being made to items. I’m sure it would increase sales 😉 – call me if you need more ideas, EA
