As 2018 rolls on through so do the mini-events. We’re now into our third mini-event of the year and this time around it’s a revival of the classic, Who Shot Mr. Burns? Yes, we’re tackling the never before seen Part 3 of the Simpsons classic. With a few interesting (read that as weird) twists and turns along the way. Of course, as we’ve said over the last few years, mini-events have become low stress “events” so you can enjoy some relaxing downtime in TSTO, but still have something to keep you tapping every so often.
Remember, this event is designed to follow a series of tasks via the questline to unlock prizes. For each of the parts of the Who Shot Mr. Burns? (Part Three) questline, you’ll have to earn 
via various character tasks in order to unlock the prize for that part.

Make Burns Absorb Solar Power With the Sun Blocker- 3hrs
Make Homer Try Not to Bump Into Things While Wearing Sunglasses- 3hrs
Mine Burnscoins- x400.
Once you’ve completed that task you’ll automatically be awarded the animation and you’ll see this message popup…
At this point, it’ll be automatically added to Mr. Burns’ set of tasks…nothing to do or move. An automatic change.
This is a 4-hour joint task for Mr. Burns and Maggie and it earns $350,90xp. And it’ll take place anywhere outside in Springfield….
Such an evil man….

I’m pretty behind and even then it won’t let me sign in! Ugh. Hopefully I can fix it before the next event starts!
I’m having the same problem getting in, said I was logged in as a jumble of letters, rest password but still no joy
I put the sun blocker & town model on the edge of my town with Scorpio’s lair & the Bont torture device. Works well enough there. Evil character corner.
Not sure I’m gonna be able to get this or the last prize now. I fell behind due to some RL and wifi related issues and now today I’m fully locked out of my game. Said I had been logged in as a weird jumble of letters and numbers when I went to clear the mini event people, so I logged out. It said an error had occurred processing the login several times. Thought maybe a password reset would help. No joy.
Any chance a device shutdown and restart would fix this kind of issue or is it more on their end?
Same exact thing just happened to me.
This happened to me and i hard restarted my phone and then I turned off my iPhone apps and updates and turned them back on and then about 20 minutes later I was logged in as normal again. I don’t know what exactly I did to fix this but it’s working fine now

I’ve got the same problem here. Maybe it’s a server-side issue? Hoping it corrects itself soon…
This has just happened to me. Logged in this morning all okay. Came back 1hr later, tried to log me in with weird jumble of letter – restarted the game. Tried to log in again, wouldn’t give me the option so the game started at the very beginning – restarted again. Next attempt, gave me my log in as normal, took a while to log back in but game appeared unaffected i.e. no obvious loss of game play. Bit worrying 😕
I’ve been locked out like that too.

Same thing is happening to me right now! It won’t let me log into my game!!
I really like the idea for the prizes, the mini Springfield and Sun Blocker 2 are pretty neat. But…they have no place in my town. Probably the only real nice addition to the prizes is the facade for the school. Why there wasn’t a skin for any characters or just a new character in general is strange, the last mini event (Duff Puff) was amazing for that. I have Howard on loop with giving out samples to a cheering crowd. There is just nothing from this mini-event I even want in my town long term.
Does anything from this event even have a bonus percentage?
Prizes? No. They often don’t. Premium purchases? Yes. The chalk outline
The only other mini-event, we had the angry mob, so i wasn’t sure. thanks =)
Do you know when the next update is being released? Any suggestions when I’m just about done everything? I’m level 429…..220 million in cash. Springfield heights finished….burns’ money mountain done…irs….etc. just have to level up until homerlayas is done.
