It’s event time in Springfield! With the launch of Itchy and Scratchy Land, summer can officially begin for the residents of our pocket-sized towns! Of course, an all-new event means a new opportunity for EA to add new premium items to our stores!
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add Jeremy and Nickel ‘N’ Dime Animation to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this animation Duo to your town…

Final Thought
Premium:
This one is another one where it’s hard to justify the price. 150 donuts for a character that’s only appeared in a couple of episodes is rough. But he is cheaper than Scratchy and meets a lot of the standard requirements we talk about for Premium combos…he’s voiced, comes with a building (which he will use) and helps with the event. Not the best pickup in the world, but not a terrible one either. If you like it grab it, otherwise pass.
Freemium:
Freemium players I’d pass on this one. There will be better items to spend your donuts on as the event progresses, so I’d hold off and see if anything else peeks your interest as the event progresses.
Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as a premium player, I’m on the fence. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

Scratchy will also have tasks to Overpay for Sex on the Beach, Try to Win At Blackjack, Drink and Babysit and Dance the Senor Burns…provided you have the buildings associated with those tasks.

I picked him up, but noticed the 300 donut character is not available now that Cartoon Motel/Ms Scratchy(?) is available. Whatever anymore, will still Rat Trap for the 150 for the motel. It’s only 150, not 300. Still totally bored 😐
The donut bundle character hasn’t been offered yet,,,on or around 6-12 is what Patric posted. Rumored to be Mawdy Spuckler.

I Passed on scrachy and Jeremy and got the characters in the 80 donut box instead. And got a nice suprice with the classified records guy he can do staff rides.
He is ok for the returning week to get him cheaper…full price means full fun for EA.
I got him for the segway task…only other segway in town is Duffman, and he’s usually flying over Duff Stadium. I threw the studio and the Itchy animation set into a part of Krustylu Studios, so I’m happy with the deal.
Sorry, Scratchy’s animation set…
I’ll wait and grab him in a mystery box for half price in a couple months.
Jeremy and Nickel ‘N’ Dime
It’s sure tempting to spend Sprinkles on a decent Character-Building Combo, but I am still experiencing lag in this Game App at times (until EA does something about this? I’m not buying any new Premiums!)
Yes, I’m waiting to see what else shows up in Act 2 / Act 3, because any further Land Tokens I obtain will go directly to Krustyland (not wasting space on anything).
I am on a Android….when I flipped a corner track in the racetrack that greatly reduced lag scrolling around town…..BUT…..I still had massive lag when working a group of selected items.
I have noticed in the last 24 hours or so that my lag with working with a selection of grouped items has reduced too….though still there, it was a marked improvement.
Why is the building scaled so tiny? It’s like the cartoon motel scale. So odd looking.
I always get characters that earn event currency. The faster I can finish an event, the faster I can get back to tapping once a day. If at all.
I liked and understood the first dialogue for Ms. Mouse… But it just didn’t “sound” like Homer. What do you guys think?
I donut farm… But still passed. Even less memorable than Diane…and she is free.
I donut farm and got him… Mostly because I could. I wouldn’t recommend him if you’re saving donuts or haven’t bought Scratchy yet. Scratchy was worth it. I would have bought him if he was a $10 deal. That’s why he was 300D.
For donut farmer said earning at a decent daily rate, what would be the arguments against picking up every character for every event? I’m earning 30-40 a day and that will go up once I hit bonuts part of this event. Is there any reason not to pick up the tools to earn you more bonuts faster,l when you’re already earning at a good pace?
