Another event in Springfield means it’s time for another Mystery Box! This time around it’s (nearly) summer, so we’re going with a summer concert, themed box.
This is a premium box full of your chance to get those limited-time premium character/building/decorations with a musical flair to them. By now we should all be familiar with how Mystery Boxes work, so let’s jump to the breakdown of what’s inside…
This Mystery Box is a great way to get items you may have missed out on from Previous Events at a low price…
And…if you already have everything in the box you won’t see the box in your store.
So for 80 donuts, you can have your shot at a variety of concert inspired premium characters, decorations, and buildings from the past (mostly Homerpalooza), 80 Donuts is equal to or less than the initial value for each item (unless of course, the item was a prize).

LT Smash and Classified Records- Originally 140 donuts, Should I Buy. Classified Records earns $200, 22xp/8hrs
Bleeding Gums Murphy and the Jazz Hole- Originally 165 donuts, Should I Buy. Jazz Holes earns $135/15xp/4hrs
Freddy Freeman, Shredder Stevens and the Sungazer Tour Bus- Originally 150 donuts, Should I Buy. Bus earns 1% bonus on all cash and XP

Glitch Alert: There are a few bugs with the questlines for some of the characters. The questlines for Alaska Nebraska and Peter (that we know of right now) require you to perform a task on the Pop Stage and Rock Stage for some reason it’s not allowing you to complete the task if you have the stages. Hopefully, this is something EA will fix. If it’s happening to you, contact EA and let them know. They need to made aware so they can fix it.
Now, while I know you can’t pick and choose which items you want from the box, I included the Should I Buy (or details) posts from the past so y’all can see how much they originally cost & what specifically each building/character does.
80 donuts is a MORE THAN fair price for most of the items at least. So my thoughts are, if you have something in there you want…give it a try. You’ll likely get something worth it.

My Mystery Box had all items except the free items from Homerpalooza. Did two pulls and got Alcatrazz and the tour bus. I really wanted Bleeding Gums or Leon. Oh well. Very much worth the cost of donuts.
I’ve only got 2 more to get from this box! There’s so much cool stuff in it and I had nothing as I wasn’t playing last summer. Everything is a great deal apart from Alaska I think. The only problem is I want almost everything from the Pride and President boxes too and I’m all out of donuts! 2 weeks more farming coming up…
This was the single best part of this event for me so far. Farmed up a bunch of donuts and cleaned that box all the way out. Glorious.

Definitely a good deal! Bought all the ones I passed on before – LT, Bleeding Gums Murphy, Leon, Alcatraaz, and Praiseland. I had the rest from before. Guess I could use the donuts saved to justify buying Scratchy! 😃
Hmm… only has to left to get so snapped the up LT Smash and Alcatraaaz so well worth the bonuts). But having paid full price for a few of these prizes during homerpalooza, and seeing as how everything seems to be popping up in later mystery boxes, I don’t feel like getting anything first time found anymore!
Ugh, I wanted 3/6 items so I bought a box and got 1 of the 3 I DIDN’T want… so I bought 1 more thinking that 3/5 was pretty good odds and got ANOTHER one I didn’t want. I am a Freemium player so that was a pretty huge bummer 🙁
This is a nice Mystery Box filled with Character Building combos at almost 50% off …. I picked up Bleeding Gums Murphy and the Jazz Hole (what a score!)
We had an update yesterday on Google Play Store (Android). I was hoping this would correct the game lag / freezing, however I can play for about 15 minutes and still get game lag / freezing of game app. I’m not asking too much from EA, just fix the recent problems so that Tappers can get back to having more fun (not bothering to do quest with Bleeding Gums Murphy ’til EA fixes things!)
Had the Peter glitch but finally completed the task by sending him to Jam with Freddy, Shredder and Bleeding Gums on the same session.
I got the Sungazer tourbus, I either wanted that or MJ! I didn’t earn Alaska Nebraska during Homerpalooza so I’m so afraid to buy again if I end up getting her… i don’t want her lol. I have BGM and Cletus and Peter. I have a 1 in 5 chance of getting Alaska. What do you think? Should i go for it?!!
This is the first time a Mystery Box came around where I already had all the items!
I got Praiseland.
Now I have just Bleeding Gums Murphy, Alcatraaz, and the two rockers left. I’m unsure if I should try again or wait to see if anything else pops up with this event. But it’s a good deal for any of them, that’s for sure.
I got alcatraz, the tour bus, Lt smash, and praise land. This box was absolutely no brainier. I wanted everything it had, and blew through my donuts to get them all. Finally something that was really good value from this event! A choice of 5 characters for 320 donuts, or scratchy for 300…. Hmmm… 5 characters please!
Got Bleeding Guns first try and am very happy!
Me too!!!! I’m a Mystery Box junky, so I’m going to keep going until I’m out of donuts at the end of the event.
Correction:
As of the I&S update, Cletus’ truck has a 2.75% multiplier bonus and the Manager Cletus skin earns at a premium rate.

There were two that I wanted, one that I was meh about and one that I really didn’t care for…guess which one I got on my first attempt? Sigh…oh well
Unlucky! There was only one that I didn’t want (tour bus) and one that I really wanted (Bleeding Gums) and I was meh on the others. Got Bleeding Gums first try so I’m happy.
I was planning on picking up the three of these I do not have – I accidentally blew 408 donuts rushing tasks last Friday. ARGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

I did exactly the same thing shortly after updating to this event. With the lag I thought the device hadn’t registered my tap of the button to send all of my characters on 1 hour tasks so I tapped again. 10 seconds later it was telling me it was rushing the event. I don’t rush events ever so I wasn’t sure what was going on and didn’t catch it until it was too late to cancel. I cost me over 400 hard earned donuts. Needless to say I will always double check the “Verify Spend Donuts” box after each update.
I recommend any and all you can afford. EA has been doing great on the character/building combos this past year. (But where’s Sarah Wiggum… getting to be like Where’s Waldo😂)
I had four in my box and bought all four, leon, Lt smash, praiseland and alcatraaaaz.
This box was a no brainer. A character and building combo for only 80 donuts is a steal. Aleady had Peter, Alaska and Manager Cletus skin from previous events. Didn’t care what I got cuz it was such a good deal. Bleeding Gums was my first prize. Def gonna save up more donuts and try this box again during the event.

Used all my bonuts bought them all, including the Krustyland mystery box! Nothing left in the tank now! But happy with what I got. And LT Smash earns foam knives too! Nice surprise! Good value.
For me this has been a great offer – I had all the prizes, so the premium characters are coming in at half price! I’ll be grabbing the lot with the compensation donuts EA gave me when they fixed my rollback glitch – thanks EA!!
