Another event in Springfield means it’s time for another Mystery Box! This time around, with the destruction of Krustyland, it’s time for a Krustyland themed box.
This is a premium box full of your chance to get those Krustyland premium character/building/decorations. By now we should all be familiar with how Mystery Boxes work, so let’s jump to the breakdown of what’s inside…
This Mystery Box is a great way to get items at a discount or something you missed out on from a previous event.
And…if you already have everything in the box you won’t see the box in your store.
So for 65 donuts, you can have your shot at a variety of Krustyland inspired premium characters, decorations, and buildings from K-Land and some recent past events. 65 Donuts is equal to or less than the initial value for each item (unless of course, the item was a prize).

Here’s what you can win…
Eyeballs of Death- Originally 100 donuts, Should I Buy. Earns 90 tickets/20xp every 12hours
Mt. Krustmore- Originally 150 donuts, Should I Buy. Earns 120 tickets/40xp every 24hours
Krusty Fountain- Originally 100 donuts, Should I Buy. Earns nothing.
Twirl ‘N’ Hurl- Originally free, a prize with THOH 2013. Details.
Unoriginal Log Ride- Originally 75 donuts, Should I Buy. Earns 36 tickets, 15xp/4hrs
Itchy & Scratchy Mascot- Originally 60 donuts each, 120 donuts combined. Should I Buy Scratchy Mascot Should I Buy Itchy Mascot. Do not earn anything, they’re NPCs that walk around.
Now, while I know you can’t pick and choose which items you want from the box, I included the Should I Buy (or details) posts from the past so y’all can see how much they originally cost & what specifically each building/character does.
65 donuts is a MORE THAN fair price for most of the items at least. So my thoughts are, if you have something in there you want…give it a try. You’ll likely get something worth it.

I think you folks missed the main point if the mystery box is worth it? If there was still a Krustyland and you needed to earn tickets, this stuff makes some sense. Now post Krustyland, with a million tickets in the bank, why in the heck would I spend donuts on this junk? As it is, all of my Krustyland is in storage. So why even buy?
Is the kirch rating from previous Krustyland still in effect, or no?
How do you tell?
I’m disappointed that TGI McScratchy’s doesn’t come with John Travolta bartender and that it doesn’t contribute to the K land grub rating. I need one more star and I don’t want to put more popcorn or hotdog stands in.
I think the cotton candy stand counts towards the points for the food rating too, you could place some on the squidport if you’re looking for ideas of where to place them if you already have too many, or you could place the popcorn stand near the movie drive thru or the ‘T’ theatre building etc if you have either of those items. 🐱🌟🌸
I don’t know if anyone has mentioned this, but it would be a good idea to do away with the collection of KL tickets. Everything should earn standard in-game currency, surely?
Nope, you can buy Krustyland items for KL tickets. So attractions and Krustyland visitors still earn tickets.
well, look at it as SH currencies, with the difference that you can change it into cash…

Wow…I just bought all the Krustyland stuff at the beginning of the event (just to have it out of my premium missing list. Now It’s all maximum half the price…just wow. Luckily it’s not hard to earn it back.
I was unfortunate …….. When the event first started and it told me to nuke K-land, I thought all the premium rides would go away for good with K-land. So I bought 4 premium rides (Unoriginal Log Ride + Eyeballs of Death + Mt. Krustmore + One Plate Maximum Buffet) at FULL ORIGINAL price, and then nuked my KL to proceed with the event
THEN, I saw this Mystery box and I was bummed. I paid total 365 donuts for 4 rides that I could have gotten for only 260 donuts. That’s a net loss of 105 donuts :((((((
The ONLY consolation is that Im a freemium/farmium player and never spent any real money on the game (so basically my donuts were free) …. But I was STILL feeling bummed, so to cheer myself up, I finally bought Manjula 🙂 🙂
Next week, I’ll charge up the XP Collider, and do some major KEM farming. Ive accumulated a lot of in-game cash since my last farming cycle on 02 May

I always wait to see what Alissa & gang say ……. I owe it to Alissa’s post that told me to buy all the available KL land plots, which after nuking KL, would give me land tokens in real Springfield
And Alissa did mention the Krustland Mystery box in her rundown post …. I somehow missed it amid the chaos of buying KL land, storing everything in KL land, double-checking and then nuking KL to proceed further with the event questline 🙁
I normally never buy any premium items at beginning of an event ……. but anyways, Ive learnt my lesson for future 🙂 ……. Im thankful that I got around 100 land tokens (thanks to Addicts). I’ll make up that loss of 105 donuts by next week via KEM farming 🙂
I had purchased all of the premium content for my B game and had a really nice layout. A little disappointed in having to rebuild in Springfield, but happy with the return of the Twirl-n-Hurl. I had that and the Krusty fountain in the mystery box. of course I got the fountain first. I don’t farm in my B game so I have to build up donuts the hard way.
I hadn’t purchased any of the premium items for my A game so I was pleased to be able to buy everything at 65 donuts. I now have everything but the Krusty Fountain. I’m not sure it’s worth 65 donuts to me, but at the end of the event I’ll get it with my remaining donuts.
Best. Mystery box. Ever. (Bit dramatic yes, but I’ve been longing for the twirl-n-hurl to finish my Krustyland. Little sad it never made it to my nice Krustyland, but still very happy.)

I really want the twirl N burl and the mascots but I don’t care about anything else… So I’m just gonna wait until the last week or so and see how many donuts I have before I even try this box.
I didn’t have any of these items. Now I have them all. . .and no more donuts. Not sad, though.

I gave it 1 try & got My.Krustmore,,,which I’m glad about since I see here that I got a good deal. Scared I’ll end up with that useless fountain or NPC’s,,, so I won’t push my luck. If there was at least a bonus %,,,maybe I would.

Anyone else having that effing issue (again) where You are being forced to update (want, want, want!) your game and then are sent in an endless loop to The App Store abd back, even though it’s updated?
So over it…
I only had that problem when I was playing on a Kindle. iPad and Android haven’t had that problem.
That’s not an issue with your game. It’s an issue with your app store not refreshing.
Took a shot at each box for my birthday. Got Leon from music and Log Ride from this one. Two of my top items. Trying to decide if I should take another shot.

None of this krustyland stuff interests me, so I think I will be skipping this box. I’m still thinking about trying the other box, just not sure how much I want the characters available there. I kind of wish adult rocker Maggie was in that box, that’s one of the ones I didn’t get when it was previously offered. Hey, I got a notice for an update when I tried to get into my game just now. Do you have any idea what that’s about?
Sorry, can’t see the point in acquiring more large size decorations. I have hundreds of thousands of Krustyland tickets with nothing to spend them on. Now Kland is part of Springfield the rides etc should be.earning normal game currency. Otherwise the whole place is a waste of space.
I have to agree. With all the tickets I have saved up, and with Simpson dollars in Springfield not even being used, anything that generates Krustyland tickets seems like a waste of space.
What I would like to see (hint) is a minor event using the “new” Krustyland.
I would also like to see some Simpson Dollar buildings for some of us older players with nearly 300 characters and a few zillion buildings generating dollars that might as well be used for donut farming since there really isn’t much dollar stuff worth buying when adding trees and flowers bump you against the software maximum number of “stuff”
and for heavens sake – allow us to purchase more Kland tiles for tickets!!!
