  1. I only get serious lag when I’m tasked to send Springfielders on one task, like in the beginning of this event. Around 200 characters completing a task lags hard to the point most characters are just shadow circles on the ground. Once they disperse, lag amount goes back to normal lag. I’m on an iPhone6+. Aged but should still be suitable for this game.

  2. I just got to listening and wanted to follow-up on Alissa’s comment about the ride size, a frustration I share as this has been a pet peeve of mine for years. Oddly, they are and aren’t out of proportion at the same time. Generally, though there are clear non-standard entries like Temple Beth Springfield, Murderhorn, Duff Stadium, etc., the EA assigns one (1) of two (2) scales to an Item – Character or Building, the latter being about half the size of the former, or really one fourth in 2D. (Compare Characters to Houses.)

Where Decorations include visual animations, EA tends to elect to use Building scales, maintaining consistency with the visual interaction. The ISL rides include animated characters, even if not playable Characters, so they chose to use Character scale instead of Building scale. I agree, this was a poor choice, but KL was entirely based on this concept so I can see why they carried it over – consistency of sorts. (Compare SF Parking Lot to KL & ISL Parking Lot, or Knock Over the Fuzzy Guy to Whacking Day booths.)

FWOT does a better job on scaling.

  3. Happy Father’s Day to all of you Dads!
Herman Munster and Gomes Addams still remain my favorite TV Dads!

I’m finding the Craftables more rewarding then the Event Prizes for this Event (although I appreciate all the free Land Tokens EA will give!) and – yep – we got some NPC’s for the 4th / 5th Prize in Act 2 bundled in with a Building (queue ‘wah wah wah waaaaah’ 🎺 here).

What’s everyone else’s Act 2 favorite? least favorite? (besides the continuing lag – lol). I guess this long time Tapper misses when Event Prizes were Premium (vs only offering Premiums in Store), but there are some good Character / Building Combos being available.

What surprises will we get for July 4th? What will return (and will it be at discount?) What Dad jokes will TSTO deliver on Sunday? (or not?)
