It’s time to celebrate Pride in Springfield! Nothing like an event, inside of an event to keep things interesting. This year for Pride EA decided to drop another Mystery Box! This time around it’s full of items from Pride Events (and some not) of the past…
This is a premium box full of your chance to get those Pride premium character/building/decorations. By now we should all be familiar with how Mystery Boxes work, so let’s jump to the breakdown of what’s inside…
This Mystery Box is a great way to get items at a discount or something you missed out on from a previous event.
And…if you already have everything in the box you won’t see the box in your store.
So for 50 donuts, you can have your shot at a variety of Pride inspired premium characters, decorations, and buildings from recent past events. 50 Donuts is less than the initial value for each item (unless of course, the item was a prize).

Here’s what you can win…
Ajax Steel Mill and Roscoe– Originally 150 donuts, Should I Buy. Mill earns $200, 22xp/8hrs. Roscoe full premium character.
Raoul’s Penthouse and Raoul– Originally 150 donuts, Should I Buy. Earns $200, 22xp/8hrs. Raoul is a full premium character
Hairy Shearers and Julio– Originally 155 donuts, Should I Buy. Earns $135, 15xp/4hrs, Julio is a full premium character.
Village Apartments and Grady– Originally a prize, Details. Earns $150, 13xp/8hrs. Grady is a full character.
Sconewall Bakery and Rollerskate Smithers– Originally 125 donuts, Should I Buy. Earns $200, 22xp/8hrs. Rollerskate Smithers is a premium skin for Smithers.
Havana Private Home– Originally 60 donuts, Should I Buy. Earns $300, 30xp/12hrs
She-She Lounge– Originally 60 donuts, Should I Buy. Earns $200,20xp/12hrs
Two-nicorn– Originally 70 donuts, Should I Buy. For the most part an NPC, does have a joint task with Furious D.
League of Extra Horny Gentlemen– Originally 60 donuts, Should I Buy. Earns $200, 22xp/8hrs.
Now, while I know you can’t pick and choose which items you want from the box, I included the Should I Buy (or details) posts from the past so y’all can see how much they originally cost & what specifically each building/character does.
50 donuts is a MORE THAN fair price for most of the items at least. So my thoughts are, if you have something in there you want…give it a try. You’ll likely get something worth it.

HELP eek I cant find the Pride Mystery Box.Where is it hiding? Ive looked everywhere…. except where its hiding I guess….Can anyone help?
For me it appeared as one of the first things that appears when I opened the store with the first item being the gil deal for J. Edgar Hoover, the second being the Pride Mystery Box and the third being a random item. I don’t think that it appears in a section of the store (not even the Itchy & Scratchy Land section) but instead as one the first things that appear in the store when you open it. If you have all of the items listed on the post (including One Night Stan’s) then the box will not appear for you.

Glad I could be helpful and you found the answer. It doesn’t help that EA didn’t add a Pride 2018 or even 4th July 2018 section to the store which makes it more trickier to find the items. Yeah, I agree the help with EA mostly isn’t very useful even when they are busy especially with the amount of bugs with this event. At least most of the limited time items are available until the end of the event so that is a bonus. 🙂
You guys forgot to mention that the box also contains the One Night Stan’s. 🙂

I received the Stonewall Bakery in the Pride Box, but no questline and no roller skating skin for Smithers. What gives?

The skating skin is stored in your inventory.
Look in your inventory under characters.
I’d love to set up a gayborhood in my town. Can anyone/everyone help me with a list of buildings that would fit? Obviously all of the items in the mystery boxes, flags, trees.
What else? Does anyone have a gayborhood that can share pictures?

I used the bright buildings from the Brazil event to fill out my gayborhood, and went to town on building pride crosswalks. It’s only small, but it works.

So the box is available until July 11? Hmm, I think I’ll farm a bunch of donuts first thing in July, do my best to get George Washington, and then use any remaining donuts to get Julio.
I can’t remember how to get my crosswalks colored? Can anyone e help please
You create them by clicking on the building One Night Stan’s. Once placed, you can then add a colour every so many hours by clicking on the individual crosswalk. Once completed, you can then select how many colour stripes you want to show by clicking on the individual crosswalk.
Make sure you’re placing the right ones… there are two different types in the inventory. One is just called “Crosswalk”, which come from Krustyland being detonated, and then there is the “Pride Crosswalk” which is the colourful variety. The inventory is alphabetised, so you just have to scroll further for the Pride version.
Only had Two-nicorn left in the mystery box & bought him last night. Love his rainbow barf!
I couldn’t resist the pride box! I bought it six times, I got two-nicorn, league of extra horny gentlemen, raoul’s penthouse, Ajax mill, Hairy shearer’s, and finally the bakery with roller skate Smithers. After all of that, I had to get the donut deal with Maw spuckler, to replace all those donuts, lol! I know some of the deals in the box aren’t fantastic, but after seeing the original cost in this post I feel like I got a good deal. 😀

A couple of notes for the Mystery box items to account for changes since original articles were written…
1) Havana house does provide Cletus with a 12-hr PREMIUM job.
2) One Night Stan earns regular currency now in addition to its role in building pride sidewalks.
I had all but 4 and splurged on this box. Even with seeing some of these were 60 donuts originally, I have no regrets with my splurging ☺ Although I prefer to buy stuff outright instead of from a mystery box, EA seems to be leaning more towards these boxes. As long as they are around this price point, I’ll most likely participate. Thanks Addicts for all that you do!! Happy tapping everybody, have a lovely day! : )
Tried twice and I got the twonicorn and league of extra horny gentlemen. The worst 2 deals.
I got One Night Stan’s from the Pride Mystery box and created a Pride Crosswalk, but I can’t change it from white to rainbow – nothing happens when tap on it…any ideas?
There was a quest line which had to be completed in order to enable rainbow sidewalks, 1 bar at a time.
EA may have forgotten to enable that. I’d wait for the bug reports to pour in and then a patch release.
The exact same thing is happening to me. Place the pride crosswalk, nothing happens. I know a paint can is supposed to pop up over it, but it’s not working.

Did your questline trigger and did you get the skin? I didn’t. Just the bakery….
200 donuts for a character and costume (Edgar Hoover and Undercover Hoover); or 200 donuts for 4 buildings, 2 characters and a costume that would of cost 490 donuts at their original price. I think I know which one is the better option. 😀 🤣
I forgot to mention, how come the where did that come from on J. Edgar Hoover appears on the tweets page but there is no WDTCF post before this post, if I click on it the site tells me that the page can’t be found. Did it get removed or something? I’m not sure if anyone else has mentioned this yet.

There are too many buildings previously sold for just 60 donuts so 50 donuts is no bargain. Getting the character building combos would be nice, but the odds aren’t great.
How I love having for 50 d. a combo that costed 150+ d. 😂
