Turbo Tappin’ Itchy and Scratchy Land: Act 3

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s nearly summertime (at least in the Northern Hemisphere) and who doesn’t think of theme park visits when thinking about summer?  With the latest Itchy and Scratchy Land update you can build your own theme park in TSTO AND eliminate Krustyland once and for all! Just make sure you have your flashbulb cameras ready to destroy the evil robots…

As was mentioned on the rundown post Act 3 of Itchy and Scratchy Land runs until July 11th, and Homer will kick things off.

Don’t forget the Questline will help you get some bonus prize currency…so make sure you complete it to earn that extra currency…also the questline is there to guide you.  Make sure you complete the main questline in order to unlock things like neighbor actions, crafting and more.

Now let’s work our way through the twists and turns (and a few loops) of the Act 3 questline….

  1. Dangit, should’ve read this before doing CP’s tasks – missed out on at least 2 rounds of bonuts (unless they award them in arrears).

Also annoyed that it’s taken me this entire act and I’m STILL 1500 shy of crafting the zoominator plunge. It will be a photo finish…

  2. I should have Corporal Punishment by tonight (is he worth the Grind? I will offer an opinion this weekend).

I’ve turned OFF most of the animations, which has eliminated most of the Game lag / freeze, but that’s also sucked the fun out of this Game App.

I would have assumed Crafting the Rides was the most rewarding part of this Itchy and Scratchy Land Event, but they take up too much space (should’ve been scaled to Krustyland Rides) and only time will tell if they generate anything like Krustyland Tickets.

I would’ve spent Sprinkles on New Premium Buildings for Itchy and Scratchy Land, but I didn’t see enough incentive. What would have sold me? All Buildings for Itchy and Scratchy Land should come with Land Tokens + give 10% towards Bonus Percentage + generate Event Currency / Crafting Currency + Characters can Staff Rides (basically? Buying Premiums should eliminate having to Grind)!

  3. I really need help reassembling mysimpon tap out zoominator anyone please help

    “New” items SIB
From. 2014 – Alissa likes Krusty Mansion
From 2016 – Alissa (and many others) already had Tuxedo Krusty and liked it.
I bought Tuxedo, nut am passing on the Mansion- even though Tuxedo Krusty has a task there.

  5. Hi Alissa
You said in one of your post that at 50% bonus we got 91 chainsaws and I am only getting 90 per rider?!? I don’t get it!

    • For some reason im getting 91…others are getting 90. No idea why. If you look in the comments of the amusement bonus post you’ll see a photo posted from my game of the payouts I’m getting

    • I have 50.00000004% and also 91 chainsaws/character.

      So it’s not just Alissa.

  6. These bonus area buildings are getting larger and larger, it’s quite ridiculous in itself and considerably out-of-scale, too. Causing a significant lag is like adding pain to insult. I guess these are the first ever buildings that I’m going to put into storage since starting playing TSTO in 2013.

  7. I’m on level 9 for crafting when should I level up to level 10? Should I do it ASAP or should I wait?

    • You should automatically level up as you craft parts for the zoominator. Purchases will push you up to the next level, no need to “level up” without crafting.

  8. This event is the worse I’ve ever done my game is lagging so bad that I’ve having to just focus on the event only because it takes so long to try and do anything else, I think it’s all to do with them changing something when they moved krusty land in to Springfield

  9. The lag is driving me insane!! Can’t move around the screen at all!!

  10. The first thing I did after placing the Zoominator was move one of the pieces so my game wouldn’t suffer from the lag. I sure hope EA fixes this in their next update; otherwise, when the event ends I’ll store all three rides.

    • Yeah this whole event has been a waste. Three rides that are completely unusable and a few buildings that I can’t even place where I want to because of the dumb bonus area thing.

  11. DSNecromorphUSS

What is this nonsense? A super lame decoration (that will look lovely in my storage) and a super lame building and the final unlock of the entire event is a “”We ran out of ideas” prize. And unless you are hooking your display onto a super computer you can’t have all three rides on at the same time. Even worse, they have the nerve to release an amazing 4th of July box that I want to pour all my doughnuts into. End result, event sucks; mystery boxes are amazing.

    • I was really hoping for a competition event like the World Cup or superheroes event. Something that made me want to log in. I definitely didn’t want to think about rebuilding Krusty Land!

  12. I’m enjoying the event, but not enjoying the bonus area. I have to keep dismantling my amusement park to squish in bonus items.

    • I finished the last act so early(at 35%)… it looks like this act will be done even sooner. I’m considering dismantling and storing the extra 15% (zoominator) and not worrying about it. Too much clutter and its just too big.👎 I like the tooth chipper a lot more, and it counts as only one piece.

  13. As someone else posted, I think EA should give us a switch like the christmas decoration switch, but in this case to turn ride animation on\off.
I’ve got 2GB free storage, and over 1GB free RAM, I do a hard start daily, and Close every app when I’m not using it….the lag has gotten noticably worse since this event! 😔

    • According to the SimpsonsWiki, there is a unreleased feature to turn off the ride animations but it hasn’t been included yet, I assume it would be similar to the Drone Scan controlling the animations of the Secret Agent buildings and decorations. EA definitely should release it to see if it does reduce and remove the lag and keep the ride pieces connected, however, they will probably wait until after the event has ended to add this feature. The lag is not just with the rides but the orange I&S Land gate bonus area contributes to the lag in the game.

  14. Yeah, this Zoominator thing is ridiculous. Complete fail. Definitely going into storage ASAP.

  15. It’s frustrating tying to move pieces around or moving anything else for that matter. I went as far disabling the monorail also. I’ll keep getting pieces and hope this lag issue will be fixed

    • I noticed in the current build, all kinds of decorations which should be “tap-and-activate” for a short time are instead animated 100% of the time.

For example, the BBQ pig should only be rotating when tapped. It’s doing the animation by itself and doing it constantly. I suspect someone made a mistake and that constant-on animation is destroying performance.

      • I noticed that too…not just in I&S Land, but all thru Springfield the animations are all on. No wonder we have lag issues.

  16. I really don’t like this event.

  17. I’m not sure I’m a fan of the zoominator….the pieces are sorta huge and weird…I think it’s the corners more than anything..

    • I agree completely! I’m wishing the corners didn’t change every time you rotate them. I really dislike the new one w/the broken track on top. RachelS

I have trouble assembling the rides to make them work.

    • You just have to match up the red Square’s together with each new piece you craft. Once you do it will turn green. Pretty much like putting puzzle pieces together. Maybe someone could post a screen shot..

  19. Hopefully when this event finishes I will be able to actully run the rides. Cannot use them completed at the moment because of the lag it causes.
