We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Itchy and Scratchy Land Act 3 hit our games this past week. What are your thoughts on the Act 3 prize track? How about the new premium addition, Tina Ballerina? How are you doing with the prizes and design?
4th of July is in just a few short days, to celebrate EA has dropped a ton of 4th of July content into our games. (mostly just items from 4th of Julys past..) Have you purchased any of the content? Which ones do you have your eye on?
How about the rest of your weekend? Those inside the US, any big 4th of July plans? Those outside of the US, ready to go back to work tomorrow? Any big upcoming plans?
So chat about the Simpsons, TSTO, Update fun, or anything else you can think of! (Just no politics, it never ends well) Can’t wait to chat with you all, you know we love hearing from you!

I just got an iPhone X, backed up everything and transferred it all successfully… except the Addicts app, which doesn’t seem to be available anymore? What happened?
We stopped supporting it 2 years ago…
Question is there a limit on how many warheads you are able to get at the Rommelwood military course? Seems like I send lisa out every 12 hrs but its been awhile since I’ve received one?

Itchy and Scratchy Land is my first “event” while playing the game. Are these constant or are there reals in between? What other events had taken place before this one? Do we know what will come next after Itchy and Scratchy Land concludes next week?
Itchy & Scratchy Land is the 3rd major event this year and there are usually 6 major events each year (including Halloween and Christmas). After the major events, there is either some down time before another update hits or a mini event is started right after the game has been updated to remove the major event. Before major events, there is a teaser released for it that lasts a week which only involves at least 1 new item and a questline which can be completed within a few days until the major event hits on the Tuesday or Wednesday after.
Mini events are smaller (1/3 the length of a major event) updates that requires characters to be sent on tasks for 3 hours each time to earn currency and after getting enough of the currency a prize is unlocked each time there is enough currency.
Before this event, there was Bart the Fink (teaser for this event), Who Shot Mr. Burns (Mini event), Springfield Jobs (Major event), Springfield Jobs (Teaser), Homer vs. 18th Amendment and Homer is Where the Art isn’t (mini event and episode tie in), Valentine’s Day (separate update during Bart Royale), Bart Royale (Major event), Homergeddon (Teaser), The Buck Stops Here and Haw-Haw Land (Mini event and episode tie in), and The Invasion Before Christmas (Major event) are all the updates from this year.
No one knows what will come next week exactly but it would probably be a mini event (you can look at the store description of the game which teases possible updates in the future).
To summarise, there are 6 major and 6 mini events every year; teasers are released a week before a major event starts; if mini and major events are finished early then it is downtime until the update ends or new act begins; there was 3 mini events, 2 major events, 2 episode tie ins and 2 teasers released so far this year. Follow this site on info about a new update starting or ending, tips and tricks for events, info on items (freemium and premium); No, no one but EA knows what is coming after this update but it will probably be a 2 week mini event (no episode tie in since there is no new episodes in the US until September-October time). Happy Monday everyone. There are at least 7 things that I would really like to see in the game and if I can think of other things then I will add it in a reply to this post. 🙂
1). A way to get land tokens outside of major and mini events. Maybe something similar to the Rail Yard (sending characters to get Blueprints to get track pieces) but replace the track pieces with land tokens (could be 16 land tokens in total and 5 donuts like the track pieces) and have a new group of characters that are not rail yard characters to generate the currency and get land tokens possibly complete it only once a week or 2 weeks. Another way could be as the reward from completing a certain amount of daily challenges like how you get donuts and mystery boxes from completing 5,10 & 15 daily challenges. A possibility would be buying them for donuts like the xp collider and cash.
2). A weekly patch update in the game from store or in game to fix any bugs and glitches that have come from a new update or have been around for a while so that we don’t have to wait until the end of an event to have the problems fixed.
3). A music feature such as a jukebox or a building/decoration to have a list of soundtracks from previous events and the player can choose which one to play in their town or an area of the town.
4). An update to the Springfield Heights that releases more land in that section (for cash or SH currency not land tokens) since the SH land is not level with the regular Springfield land going north. New prizes can be included with another currency that goes up to 2 billion points. A new currency earning building like the Coffee Shop, L.A. Bodyworks and the Furniture Shop that doesn’t require any other currencies to generate. The new prize track currency can be earned from new items in the store, new upgradeable buildings and completing parts of a new questline.
5). A way to remove and re-add mountains (if there are regrets from removing them) between SH and Springfield. It can be used to add the mountain items such as Mount Carlmore, Springfield Sign, Mountain Lodge in the mountains’ place.
6). New Friend Point Prizes added outside of events to give players’ a reason to visit neighbours more often and to include some items that wouldn’t fit in with any updates.
7). New Road to Riches prizes added that gives players with tons of in game cash to spend it on something other than buying items or farming and it gives a reason to include the World’s Largest Toilet in the game.
Yes absolutely no.6…. seems to me that would be an easy one for EA. it’s been so long since a new prize became available. Recently scrolled through those and they were all good ones….skins, playable characters, buildings, even an island!
Yeah, those were decent prizes we got and would give everyone a reason to visit neighbours more frequently. A perfect candidate for a FP prize would be Sarah Wiggum. 😀 *Hint, hint, EA*
I am enjoying this event!! Our Disneyworld trip is coming up and designing a Springfield Disney sounds like fun. I’m busily farming and plopping, adding neighbors for more ideas and looking forward to the Addicts showcase. As Patric says, the event is EAsy. That will let me finish the event and start building the park and craft what I need vs craft what I think I need. I may miss out on some Bonuts, oh well. My youngest son likes to “help Dad” by designing sections of my Springfield. The “silly little game” provides some quiet fun time together.
I tried the sunblocker with the fireworks and it was okay, but nothing special.
I stored my wild west town plaza when I nuked my SF. Now that I’ve replaced it.. it is stuck at the first level. I click on it and the Act 2 and Act 3 tabs have an exclamation over the plaza. All the other items have check marks. The Act 1 tab is all checked. And I can still view all the finale shorts.Any ideas how to get it back to the completed look?? Any help is appreciated! I hope they change the bridge to parent island so that you can place it over paths. I breaks the road in krustyland up a little.
I think you can do just that…You need to remove the path where you want it to go, then run the path under it after it is placed.
I have no idea where to post this. All of a sudden I have scorpions crawling all over my rocks. Is this something new in the game or did I accidently trigger something? Thanks in advance for any help!
That is the normal animation for those rocks, usually it only triggers when you tap them, but sometimes the game triggers the animation on its own. Should be gone again the next time you open the game.
They were always there. I think you needed to click on the rock to see them.
You must have the animation glitch in which an area of your town animates randomly without any characters on tasks at buildings and decorations being tapped.
Things were going great for my little town since the rollback. Then tonight it sent me back to homer and the 18th amendment. Blew up krustyland again. Lost my character button again…. sigh.

I’m reading on the EA forums regarding those of us who recently got Mona Simpson & don’t have the joint task where she sits with Grandpa on a bench.
They seem to think it is because the questline that involved that task was part of the 2016 Valentines event, & cannot be triggered without some major reprogramming.
Shame, as I would love to have a second visual task for her…especially one with Abe.
Does it list it as a job for them to do? When I send them on the task she just stands next to the bench doing nothing. They used to do the task not that long ago. I’ve had them for years.
No, there is no option blanked out for me & no tasks incomplete that could hold it up (aside from that bloody Mindy task but I doubt that affects Mona)…the sitting with Abe task simply does not exist in Mona’s task list.

Hi ho. Well i had problems with ingame scrolling according to Krustyland. It wasn’t fun even to farm the cash. Then i started to “remove” some of the Ingame Animations.

The Stairway to Heaven
Disconnected every Monorailstation from the Grid by turning the first rail from each station.
The new itchy kart race track by moving a corner at least one pixel.
The same with the waterslide.
At least the tracks arent connected properly, but it’ll increase the Gamespeed.

Thanks for that I’ll try it, at the moment I cannot move around the city at all, all EA offered was to rollback my game to late May and subsequently lose all my progress, donuts,characters etc from that date
I stopped the IS Land ride animations and my game is back to normal. Left the monorail alone. Game is pretty much back to normal. Thanks for the tip.
Same. Just moved one section of each ride a little out of whack. Lag is gone.

I got all of the presidents Mystery box and farmed 1400+ donuts, so I still have 1058 in the tank. It is a bit tedious, but the donuts are worth it. Best wishes to all! Enjoy but be safe!
