Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Just came across an interesting glitch. I had most of my characters at Krusty Burger. But I couldn’t tap on them. Exited to visit friends – return homes then I could tap on them. Collected about a million in cash and collected about 1.5 million in XP. But they were stuck in KB. Exited and return a few times (took a couple of videos) and collected a bunch of cash and donuts. Went to my KEM farm for a comparison. collected way more (4 to 5 times more) donuts in the same amount of time. Finally stored the KB to break the loop.
A recent daily challenge was to tap on Krustyland visitors. I have zero visitors to tap on. Is there something I need to put into my Springfield to get visitors? Is the Krustyland entrance sufficient?
I had that challenge a few days ago and I completed it from collecting the tickets from Sideshow You and the K-Land rides. I still have the entrance in my inventory and haven’t taken it out since I nuked K-Land so it doesn’t affect the challenge.
How does one unlock sideshow Bob?
Do all the quests available, eventually you will have to catch him 5 times (over a couple of months).
Instead of storing everything one-by-one I did the town Blow Up and was able to rebuild my Springfield from scratch…which is great, and it’s looking awesome…however I think I lost the IRS Building? I’m at level 115, so I know I’ve received it , but I’ve looked through all of my storage and cannot find it.
Does blowing up the town result in having to repurchase some items? Tapping each building individually is making my eye twitch….

Check you’re store…if it’s there, you will have to re-buy or open a case with EA. If it’s not there, check you’re general inventory (no sub-sections)…lots of things never get catagorized and end up in the general inventory.
Hello to everyone! Hope everyone has been doing well! Just wanted my neighbours to know that I’m taking a break from the game. It’s becoming a chore lately, and I hate chores! I will probably play events only or maybe take a break up until Halloween. Or maybe take a permanent break.
TSTO was great for me while I was depressed and having a hard time in life. Now that I am getting mentally healthier I no longer feel the same towards being on the phone every 4 hours, I’d rather be doing something else if that makes sense. Im still here but taking a break…..🤗
That makes PERFECT sense! Life is meant to be lived in big wide swaths of activities. And TSTO or any diversion, should never come close to replacing it. Sounds like you are making up for lost time…go for it! Your happiness is way more important than the next tapping event…for sure!

Has been a hectic few days recently had a gaming/drinking night with a few friends that went on till the early hours of the morning then after recovering for a day got up early yesterday and went to London gaming market and picked up a few bargains and spotted a few of the old terrible simpsons games like krustys fun house and bart vs the space mutants. Then today I had a hospital appointment where it was found out that my doctor had me on too much medication which was making my migraine suffering worse as my brain was becoming too dependent on it. Tomorrow I plan on seeing incredibles 2 with some friends before my birthday on the Wednesday where I currently have no idea what if anything I’m going to do for it. Hopefully after that things should settle down a bit. As for in the game I’m just finishing up the main questline now and starting to go through the questlines for all the other characters that were offered. Then I’ll probably use the extra time before the next big event to sort out the KISland which is still a complete mess at the moment.
Today is the first time I got the limit message and I can no longer place anything. Sucks. Started removing things and redoing my areas.
It has driven me into a “treasure hunt” of trees/shrubs/flowers that I can purge, without losing the flavor of the design. Apparently, the EA/TSTO programmers live in a world devoid of detail. Just general impressions…with huge chunks of land. My current “Other Springfield” is almost completely devoid of creativity.
Have yet to receive the limit message*knocking wood* but have a huge Central Park style area that I feel will be eventually compromised
Hi Everybody!
Just a note to my neighbors…am in the midst of a controlled nuke of my town (group storing it all, by area), so if you see it slowly dissapearing, that’s why. Another day of storage probably, then should start re-building some time by the end of the week. Am going to visit all my neighbors this week for inspiration (taking screen shots) before I start designing my new Springfield.
Anybody have any suggestions or really cool layouts they want to share? Will start with waterways, lakes, and mountains…just like the real world…and then build around them. Will start with a “Manhatten Island” for my skyscrapers (I’d kill for a couple real bridges!) across from city center and government, but everything else is still nebulous. Open to ideas…👍😁.
Wow! Just visited your land😱 You are brave! I don’t have the balls to redesign via mini nuke. I’ve been redesigning this past week (due to item limits) but in small sections (no storing of sections). I rather like the way my new forest area turned out, really like the new picnic spot/tree decoration. I made a little utopian garden of eden for the animals. I welcome any new nature items that the game offers. Went a little crazy with the KL shrubs all over town🤪. Good luck with your designs! Looking forward to seeing them. Feel free to borrow any of my designs…but I don’t think you will need any inspiration from me😉
I’m a little overwhelmed by the immensity of the project right now. All that empty space is a little daunting, but I’m just so tired of being unable to design things the way I want without worrying about item limits. Soooo….lots of things won’t make it back into my town, but there are so many forgettable buildings and I’ll never miss them. At least I’m leaving SH as it is… pretty happy with it and it gives everybody something to tap. 😁
Is your game freezing up after everytime it switches items in the box or you move something?
Nope, no problems with the game at all right now…not even any lagging. Of course there’s hardly anything in it right now to slow it down, almost everything has been stored.
If your game is freezing, you may have to start turning off some animations or just store the rides. They use up a lot of your processor memory and unless you have a newer device, this can cause problems. Your internet speed, internal modem speed, and the size and speed of your processor can all affect how the game plays…and the more animation, the more your device has to handle. Also, be sure you have 5gb free…this game is a data hog. For a test…try group-storing the rides, turn off your monorail, and put your characters into as many “inside” tasks as you can. Then clear your cache(do a hard close and reboot). If the problem clears up, it’s your processor… handling less data makes it’s work easier. If the problem remains the same…check your internet speed…there are free apps that will check the data speed sending and receiving and you want a speed of at least 10 mbps downloading and .5mbps uploading. Even faster is better.

I’m playing on a new iPad. I stored my rides and don’t have a monorail set up. I can’t clear my cache because Ipad doesn’t have it. My fiancé has the fastest speed internet. Thanks for the comment. I had the idea while I had downtime on the game that I would redo some areas that I didn’t care for. Plus I got the dreaded out of limit message. I’ll restart my iPad and see if that makes a difference. Thanks again.
Ps…always turn off the ground tiles…water/dirt/cement/roads…before you highlight an item or group of stuff. Picking up the base just slows everything down and you really don’t need to store it with your selected item.

I’m still building my waterways and mountain areas and trying to plan out an extensive monorail system. One thing I’m quite happy with though is my expressway using the Krustyland highway and Injury 500 pieces. I’ll try to post some screenshots but feel free to stop by for a look.

I probably won’t post anything to flickr till I get more done…so far I’ve started placing my Springfield around a large lake with a seperate island nearby with all my skyscrapers. Going to place my mountains and wilderness areas next, but taking my time. This is really fun…no rush to place anything (saved a bunch of cash and donuts before I started) and lots of room to spread things out.😄

It’s kind of a mess at the moment. I had it all nicely planned out and then EA gave us all the KL land and sent it into total disarray again with random buildings scattered for the event characters. Time to bring in the cleaners.

Can’t really say I recommend anything from my town, but personally I like the “normal” areas the best, basically the oldest parts of Springfield. Neighbourhoods with little parks here and there, a few shops or even a shopping street. I kind of destroyed that a bit, though, with building a monorail loop all round it. I think I will take that out again. As much as I like the monorail, I never could really fit it into my existing town, and I have no desire to start from scratch, like you.
I went thru the same problem with my monorail and eventually took it all out…it’s just too intrusive (and really screws with your piece count!) I think I will add a single loop from a platform in Springfield to a platform in my small Capital City area and then add a seperate Krustyland loop when I rebuild Krustyland. (No I&S Land will exist…it will all be Krustyland with an extra log ride…man, that I&SL entrance was ugly!)

I’m stuck on Pt. 3 of recycling to the extreme event. I had Poochy dunk a basketball, and it’s currently displaying as “Done!” as it’s status, but I’ve received no Goal complete and have not moved on yet. I’m making him do it again and hopefully that’ll unkink it, just wondering if anyone else has run into this at all while I wait, and if there’s anything else I could be doing to get the monkeywrench out faster
Try going to a neighbor and back (syncing the game) and if that doesn’t work, try storing the half-pipe and then pulling it back out.

Is that the one where kids have jobs in the quest too? If those are done too, but you accidently sent one on that job, it won’t be done until that kid is done too, even if that part of the quest is done. Maybe that?
Hi neighbors! Hope everyone had a great weekend. My kids were on vacation with their grandparents this past week so I used a lot of my free time redesigning certain parts of my Springfield due to item limits. (This mini update pushed me over the limit🙄). So, fences from gated communities have been removed, items from my second largest forest have been placed in my largest forest (turning the other one into a mere campground), Squidport has been condensed, as has the resort belonging to Smooches on the Beach, one housing development has been removed altogether (which expanded my stadium section), the prison grounds have lost their trees but gained water, and the museums were all placed in one section. I’m sure there were more changes but🤷♀️. So, I guess much like real life, some trees have been cut down due to development and other areas got renovated. All in all the change didn’t hurt so much, kinda miss my second forest though. Oh well, 1st world problems, right? Lol

That appears to be a 1 day use of the XP Collider (which gives you 10x $ & XP). Haven’t seen it before, but it’s a welcome addition to the challenges.

You need to create a login with tsto. If you’re playing without a login on tsto it won’t save
At the bottom left on my tsto game it says EA log out. I am signed in with the user name moezaic216. Is that the login you are talking about?
I am, obviously, pretty computer illiterate. Super scared of uninstalling and reinstalling and losing all my stuff.
You have a tsto login and should have no problems doing a reinstall.

I’ve finally made enough room in my Springfield to put in the “studio city” I’ve always wanted and I’m looking for design suggestions. I’ve been through my town a couple of time pulling it all together. So far I’ve found the Itchy and Scratchy Studio, The Reality Channel, Channel 6 Studios, Nickle ‘n Dime Animation Studio, Krustylu Studios, the McBain Film Set, the Cartoon Set, and the Wild West film Set. Am I missing anything? Any other buildings people would recommend?

You could make an additional film set with some Sci-Fi stuff, like the Ufo stuff Kang and Kodos came with, or something like that. Would fit in well with the overall theme, I think.
Then there’s the writer’s building Matt Groening came with, or the Radioactive Man set – or maybe that giant Radioactive Man statue as well.
Honestly, in my opinion there is more stuff that would fit in a film set, rather than in a normal town…

After getting all of the Beach Hideaways, what are the next items I should purchase too most effectively increase my bonus percentage? Right now I’m low on cash and want to buy all the land squares so I can use my 100 + land tokens on the token only squares. Plus the increased percentage on XP will help me with leveling up.
I recently powered up from 700 to 1000% using mystery boxes in about 3 weeks. I averaged about 8 donuts per 1%. Charles has posted on mystery boxes. There are some long series which give a lot of Lard Lads. Most series are 4 picks: two small items like a bomb shelter followed by a channel 6 van 2% or a itchy and scratchy billboard for 1% the fourth item is either 10 or 30 donuts.
Another choice is rocket cars on discount in your vault.

Thank you!! After playing this game for a couple years now, I have made slow progress until I recently found this website and learned the ins and outs of the game.
Vault items and mystery boxes are the most reliable XP boosters. You haven’t mentioned the XP Collider…if you don’t have it yet, get it next.
Also, the land squares aren’t going away…there’s no advantage to building up a lot of land if it leaves you cash poor.
Once in a while i like to zoom in to my town and watch all my characters doing there different tasks.when you have over 225 of them you tend to forget all the cool characters you have and the hilarious tasks they have.

Holy moly i am about ready to pull out my hair. I contacted EA sports about being stuck in the mini game. I completed the quests for the land token but it won’t give me the land token and let me move on. I went to their help page and emailed them. They said they can’t help me through email and i have to select live support, either chat, or leave my number for them to call me. But when i follow all of their steps to do that, when i hit the “select contact option” button it will ONLY let me select email. Just got another reply and he’s like, it works on my end, try again with another browser. Dude. I have tried that. Argh. I don’t even care about the land token. I just want to move on and get the last prize.
Well, i finally went through a bunch of options, found a problem I didn’t have, but it let the chat option finally pop up and i got to talk to someone. The solution was troubleshoot and wait 24 hrs, or rollback my game to the previous level. I guess i am waiting!
First step with a glitch is always to sync the game (visit a neighbor), next step is to try storing whatever building is involved in the quest task (if there is one) and then pull it back out. Next, check to see there isn’t another task that you missed in this part of the quest (this happens amazingly often). Lastly, try un-installing and re-installing the game. Tech support will start with all of these, so you might as well get a head start, and maybe one of these will fix the problem…good luck👍😁.
Thank you for these great suggestions. Tech support didn’t give me any of those suggestions except the uninstall/reinstall. And actually they didn’t give me that suggestion, they sent me to a troubleshooting page that had that on it, plus stuff like clearing my cache and browser history or doing a hard restart on my iPad. The uninstall/reinstall worked. Took me a minute to get the guts to do it. But it worked! Definitely going to try your other suggestions next time. Thank you!

I am so happy Homer isn’t needed for the grind in this event. For the past…well I can’t remember a time, Homer has already been needed for any form of event. I get it, he’s the first unlock so anyone playing can participate, but he’s needed for everything else as well. Since he is the winner of the event he can go about doing random stuff again. In other news I’m now level 133 and now have a list of stuff to finish. First, the Redwood. Been on the backburner for ages but I believe this mini event is the perfect time to finish.
My SH is a mess, I can’t think of a good “”rich people ” look up there, mostly coming out as a pompous shopping mall. And this is super weird to say, since I really didn’t like I&S Land for being so dull, but I want a new major event. I can’t imagine any good, new characters, but I want cool buildings and decorations.
I’m really starting to donut grind now, with the hope I can bump my percent up so I can level up every 4 hours.
And finally a huge thank you to everyone who makes this forum possible, not only are the articles great but it feels like a sort of family of people who love this game as much as I do. Keep up the good work!
No kidding about Homer. He has some of the best animations in his 150 skins, yet you never get to use them. For the first time in a long time he got to enjoy a 360° buffet.

It’s almost mystifying that this gets asked after every event. The bundle for Around the World was playable, but I can’t think of another example in all the events I’ve played. NPC is more the rule than the exception with the former tapables.
Is there a reason why Lurleen is on offer? Just feels like there’s a reason for it but I don’t know why.
For whatever reason, they are reissuing the whole mess of music related items again. Summer convert time? Hard to say…

We had some rain!!! We’ve had a whole 14mm which is not much, but considering we only had 9mm in the previous two months, I’ll take it! Still some dark clouds around but nothing so far today and nothing forecast for the week ahead. But we had rain! 😄😄😄
Had a busy sporting weekend but without much success… England lost to Belgium for 3rd/4th at the World Cup and Klaasen (SA) and Venus (NZ) lost the Wimbledon Men’s Doubles final. Hard luck to Serena but amazing to make the finals only 10 months after giving birth!!! Today our first men’s singles finalist in 97 years, Kevin Anderson, lost to Novak Djokovic. If he had managed to take the 3rd set I’m sure he would have won because he seems to thrive on long matches 😄😄😄 Currently watch the World Cup final and my tendency to support the underdog has me cheering for Croatia…You can guess how that is going given my current track record!! 😄
The mini event has kept me busy for a couple of days. I’ll earn the final prize today and then it’s just an extra quest line or three to finish off. I’ve been working on my I&SL. Playing with a design for the rides that makes it look like they are intertwined. Doesn’t look too bad but is a bit busy and takes up a lot of space. Leaving it for now while I try and figure out how the rest should look… 😄

Patric, do you know Bob & Patty MacDonald and their son Jason?
Bob worked for Jostens and we were neighbors and friends 35 years ago.
Bob put up a split rail fence and was training grape vines along it. Every few days he’d carefully attend to his vines.
One night, I snuck out and hung a small bunch of grapes on his vine.
The very next morning we were out front, preparing for work and he called me over for a chat. Then he looked over my shoulder, saw the grapes, looked at me and called me a SOB.
Anyway, I’ve lost touch, be nice to know how they are doing. Last I heard, they were in Eugene.

Remember when mom would put all kinds of wacky things in Jell-O? Grapes, carrots, celery, raisins…..
I still make jello salad(lime jello) with shredded carrots and cabbage, cottage cheese, crushed pineapple, mandarin oranges and walnuts. Yummmm.😋 Of course, I first started making it in the 70’s, so it’s not exactly gourmet cuisine, but we like something cool in the summer😎👍.
I suppose jello needs to be made healthy by any means necessary

Two pointers with this jello salad…only use one cup of hot water to dissolve the gelatin(small box) and then add all the extra stuff, starting with wet stuff (fruit- drain the can of oranges, but not the crushed pineapple- and cottage cheese) and ending with dry stuff (veggies and nuts). Don’t add the cup of cold water, as instructed by the box, or it won’t set up. Bon Appetit😄😊😉😂
It’s so funny how many memories this brings back! When I was a very young boy (it’s true…I really was at one time), our church had regular Wednesday night potlucks. It was the usual spread of Campbell’s soup-based casseroles and overly bread-stuffed meatloafs. But there was one lady, (bless her heart) who brought assorted Jello deserts in these decorative copper molds. She would bring at least 4 per meal…with varying fillings. The others kids always went right for the one with the marshmallows. But, I loved the one that had pineapple, bananas and cherries. My favorite part was the bits that got stuck in the indentations of the bottom of the mold (usually half-grape size decorative bubbles), because the Jello there would be “cured” into a substance that was almost like a Swedish fish (not quite gummie bear state). This prompted me to go out and buy my first packet of Jello in what must be 20 years. Thanks!
No problem…I get a kickback from the Jello people…everybody, eat up! Momma needs a new Amazon Fire Stick with Alexa voice control (it’s Prime day…half price…yippee!).

I got a 24 hour super collider task in my daily challenges. I take it this is a new addition, very pleased. Has anybody else seen this yet?
Nope…I always keep declining tasks till they offer donuts…usually the third choice.
I also got a new task making Mr. Burns spy on employees for 8 hours. The best thing is the reward is 6 donuts! The most I had previously gotten for a daily task was 3.

I havent seen that, but I have seen some other new ones. One was to dunk at the basketball court (i dont remember the details, it awarded $, so I skipped it), another was to tap krustyland visitors, it would even take you to them in a similar way to event tappables. But my visitors are contained to krustyland anyway, it is quite unconnected and far away from any other roads.

24 hours free with the super collider. Multiplies XP so you level up much quicker, especially if you buy and resell rat traps as often as your money stash allows. Works with any new building ,krusty markets etc. A really good addition to daily tasks.
