Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Out with the old and in with the new! Itchy and Scratchy Land exited stage left and the Poochie mini-event arrived stage right! Because 6 weeks of Itchy and Scratchy wasn’t enough…
Of course, as we’ve said over the last few years, mini-events have become low stress “events” so you can enjoy some relaxing downtime in TSTO, but still have something to keep you tapping every so often.
Remember, this event is designed to follow a series of tasks via the questline to unlock prizes. For each of the parts of the Poorly Working Title questline, you’ll have to earn 
via various character tasks in order to unlock the prize for that part.
Let’s take a look at the details of the third prize, Poochie and the Basketball Ramp. What it does and how you unlock it…

How You Unlock It: Poorly Working Title Pt. 3
Make Homer Record a New Poochie Voice-Over- 4hrs
Make Roger Meyers Jr. Begrudgingly Give Homer Poochie Sunglasses- 4hrs
Collect Poochie Scripts- x400.
Once you’ve completed that task you’ll automatically be awarded the Ramp (you’ll have to place the ramp the unlock Poochie)….
And you’ll have the option to store or place the table in your Springfield. You’ll need to place it to complete part 4 of the questline (and to unlock Poochie).
Once the ramp is placed you’ll unlock Poochie…
And he’s part of the Itchy & Scratchy Show Character Collection…

I can’t get pass the 4 hour dunk a basketball task. Poochie completed the mission, but it remains in my task list. The red unavailable icon is next to Poochie’s face, indicating he is not free to complete it. I stored Poochie, then put him back in my town, and the problems remains. Any idea why this is happening?

Yes I can get Scratchy another day (preferably at 150 Donuts, because I was spending 300 Sprinkles!) 😉
A little nuisance which also happens with Corporal Punishment and other characters/skins: If you have a generalistic task buliding (i.e. casino to play blackjack), this indoor task is listed before his own animated one, and choosen by default when using Employement Office.
So unless you task your characters one by one, which is very unlikely after you have certain amount of them, you’re not gonna see his default animated 4h task after the initial quest :/
Poochie’s been doing his one hour task in different places – right now he’s in the. Presidential Estate, and earlier he went to Stacy’s Dream House.
Is that to say he has been doing his business all over Springfield? Kirk Van Houten needs a job.
I’ve noticed that with his 12hr. When I clearewd him from Burn’s outdoor retreat or whatever it’s called yesterday I was amazed. Doubly so now that I know it should be the orange house. But I’m all for little animated buildings getting use!
I believe he goes to random houses whichever is the nearest one.

Just a heads up, when his 4 hour dunk a basketball task is finished, make sure when you click on this award hand you stay and watch his response, one of the better animations!
I love this freaking animation! It’s up there with Korporal P’s 4 hr puppet show. 😀💜😀
Random thoughts on event.
*i like the poochie dunk basketball / ramp animation
* this is mostly a no Homer event (he doesn’t earn event currency & not needed for the majority of the questline) ……….. the voice of poochie should be more involved.
*Poochie should of been at the end of the prize line, not in the middle since he also not needed for the event quest.
*You need the last prize to unlock the 8hour poochie animation. (Will do the job in brown house if you dont have it)
I am actually glad that Homer isn’t involved. I used to have a large stack of quests waiting for him, which I could never do because Homer is always needed for EC grind. That stack has now dwindled to nothing, because Homer was free to do everything: bidding on auctions; go on a mini-break to Snuggler’s Cove with Marge; and so much more. 🙂
