It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Poochie is leaving town…we’ll not literally if you’ve unlocked him…the mini-event is slated to leave this week. How have you fared with the prize track? Thoughts as the mini-event is about to leave? Ready for what’s next?

FYI, just received a short update.
hmmm I got nothing…
I see it in the files, it’s a teaser for the next event. Won’t launch until tomorrow…which is when I’ll discuss it. And looks like the teaser will last a week, which means the event will likely hit Aug 1st.
I’ve pinpointed my game lag down to metal recycling – no problems normally but whenever I start that it’s like playing via a 56k modem! Anyone else spotted this?
Yes, I have the same problem, but it doesn’t happen all the time. The way I deal with the lag is that I send my characters to recycle as the second to last thing I do in a tapping session. I’ve moved my unemployment office right next to my recycling center so I can easily send my characters on their 4 hour jobs as the final thing I do.
How many neighbours can you have? I thought it maxed at 100 but I now have 101.
I think it counts Facebook friends separately (at least that’s what happened to me).
I think the extra 1 is Other Springfield. Or, if you’re looking at the ranking of SH $ and have 101 on the list, it includes you.
I was looking at the SH rankings and now I’m up to 105. Will have to add a few more and see if it’s just my fb friends adding to the total
Happy Monday everyone, I have finally finished my design on Itchy & Scratchy Land. Thanks to finishing the mini event on Friday, I have finished up the last little bits of design since during the event it was more difficult to design it because of the lags. I have not included the parades in the design since they were tricky for me to decorate with but I might add them to the land on the right in a future design. I have been saving most of the land tokens for a redesign of my Krustyland which I haven’t started yet but I might start it during the week if the next update is a teaser instead of a major event.

This is a terrific ISL! The use of sequel stop, make a thing, the half pipe and the swordfish museum are not obvious choices, but you fit them in nicely. I also like the entryways to your large rides…so creative 👍👍👍. Going to screenshot it in imjur (can see it full screen there) so I can borrow(steal) ideas when I’m ready to put Krustyland back together in my town…thanks.😁
Thanks ebron, that means so much from you because you inspire me to keep on designing in the game. 😊 I loved what you done with your Log Ride and Zoominator on the showoff post. So far I’m still deciding on what to do with the Poochie items, I plan on adding the Audience Table and Network HQ to Krustylu or I&S Studios when I get around to designing these buildings since I have been doing some rearranging in my town and they have been dumped on random plots of land. I might make a little area for Poochie’s car and ramp but I did see someone on reddit adding the car to the Cartoon Motel which was a nice setup. 🚗🏨 I really enjoy seeing what you have done on your flickr page of certain items that I struggle to design with or items I get at a later date.

Question for those who like to help. I’ve seen in my neighbor’s towns the boardwalk tiles on the beach like the entrance but in different parts of the beach (not the entrance). How do you do this? Thx.
Are they actually on the beach, or just close by in the water? I don’t know if it’s possible to place them on the beach🤔.

Try this – open two browser pages, Addicts page and the imgur upload page – here’s the link.

Start your comment on the addicts page.
Switch over to the upload page, choose “browse”, then choose “photo library”, find your picture and checkmark it (tap it), then hit “done”. When the upload is completed, you can then just copy the address at the top of the page (double tap the address, choose “select all” and then “copy”). Go back to your comment on the addicts page and start a new line. Double tap the cursor and choose “paste”. The address should show up in your post, and after moderation, your picture should show up. Good luck 😁

Has anybody got a working guide to “Tap The Singing Stones”.
This was part of an event waaaay back but I have never been able to crack it. Homer still has a task to do it and I would like to complete it.
