Just a quick reminder that tomorrow (Wednesday, July 25th) marks the end of the Poochie Dog Dayz mini-event! So, if you haven’t already, finish up that prize track, purchase your last few premium items and be prepared to see the mini-event leave our games tomorrow morning! (and hopefully, something new arrives in its place)

Has anyone ever had building just disappear from their town? On my B game yesterday I was looking to buy a new character with sprinkles and noticed that the Channel 6 building was there that I had bought years before. Tonight I whole whole strip of my town’s buildings are gone, I have started to rebuild those with characters. Is this the rollback glitch? I have not had old quests pop back up and no quests were triggered bringing Kent back into my game.

I did lose the Happy Little Elves and Whirl & Hurl rides when I nuked my Krustyland. I was pretty sure I had stored everything first.
Poochie Dog Dayz Mini-Event
More rewarding then Act 2 / Act 3 of Itchy and Scratchy Land Event, but I still wish Poochie came with a Ride / Attraction that would work in Itchy and Scratchy Land – as in generates Krustyland tickets ) 🤷♂️
Was there a “should I buy” for the Sleep-Eazy Motel? Is it worth it even with the 50 back?

My game logged me out and when I tried to log back in the server won’t let me. I’ve tried a hard close on the app and it still won’t let me log in. Any suggestions? I don’t want to be behind if we get a new I. Game event tomorrow.
I rated it B since it was a great event with a few flaws being no permanent tasks at the premium items (Fireworks Factory, Reality Channel + Van, & the Picnic Spot) & Network HQ and there was not many returning items apart from Itchy & Scratchy & the Cartoon Set also for some reason Lurleen on a rebate. Poochie was the best thing from this mini event since he can use the car and ramp, has all of his indoor tasks at random houses which is so much better than getting dumped at the Brown House and along with Itchy & Scratchy, he is another highly requested character that has been wanted in the game for a long time. 😀
Now I have two Poochies wandering around Springfield! (One is an NPC from some event in the dim past.)
It’s a mascot from krustyland, so technically it’s a person dressed as Poochie. Theres also Itchy and Scratchy mascots + the new parading Itchys. So quite a lot of them.
I think the NPC looks better than the full character.
I really enjoyed this mini event, like all the rest it was easy to just cruise through so there wasn’t a rush like in the longer events. During the main events between crafting and bonuts I feel the need to keep up with the four hour grind even after finishing the prize track. I also really liked the small footprint of the prizes and how I could incorporate them into my I&S land.
I wanted poochie. I got poochie. So in short, yes, the event was awesome! Woohoo!
I need a break until the next event! So please don’t say unfortunately…. don’t get me wrong, I am still playing several times a day. But at least I have a full night sleep! Which I can’t when the challenges are on. I wake up in the night and if I don’t play I can’t get back to sleep!
Wow. Even I don’t wake up in the middle of the night to play. Everything should be very doable during 6a-10p, no need to lose sleep over it.

I really like these mini events as a little “break” between major events. Usually with major events I drop all the stuff in one area. During mini events it gives me the time to design.
No problems with event, but every time I open the game it says it’s open on another device (it isn’t), asks me for my age, then downloads 820mb of updates. I would have been done days ago but I don’t always have time to wait 10 minutes to get into the game. No help from EA so far.
Free up space on your device. You likely don’t have enough space available for TSTO, which is why it constantly downloads. Make sure you have at least 5GB free. Once you do that it’ll download one more time and then shouldn’t do it again.

Roy is kinda forgettable…but you’re right, I guess he counts. And no…he’s not “fun”. Reality TV is really not my thing, but I’m old and not ‘housewifey”.😝

If it ends Wednesday am, do you know what time, approximately? And what time zone are you? I think I’m 17 hours ahead of the TSTOaddicts writers, or something like that. The game often gives players a countdown to the end of major events. It would be good if they gave a countdown for mini events too. App creators need to have a better appreciation that they are communicating to an international audience, and that for all of us online who play games or work at all kinds of silly hours, “finishing on Wednesday” is a little bit too vague.
Apart from that, I loved this event because of Poochie the Proactive Dog, a character created by committee. His episode first aired when I was working as an animator, and I didn’t know whether to laugh, cry, or feel ill. Was just thinking after the last event ended “what they really need now is Poochie”. *contented sigh*
I believe it ends at 10am Eastern Time, US. However, there are loads of timers in your games for mini events. Simply look in your store at the content for the mini event and you’ll see the countdown timer. (of course, you won’t see this if you’ve purchased everything from the store)
Ah…so right, O wise one, I have been avoiding temptation by not visiting the store, so forgot all about those timers. Finishes midnight for me. Thanks Alissa!
