Lions and Tigers and Emus…oh my! The Springfield Zoo (aka Moe’s Ark) event is in full swing in our pocket-sized towns! Of course, by now, we all know that a new event means a new excuse for EA to fill our stores with limited-time premium items to tempt us.
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the Duff McShark Tank to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this beer drinking shark to your town…

Final Thought
Premium or Freemium:
Buy it for the bonus % alone. Fantastic bonus % for donuts spent (good rule of thumb 2% for 40 donuts). The animation is a bonus.
Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as a premium player, I’ll likely pick this one up. It’s a great buy for bonus %. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

I was flush with the half price donuts. Wish I bought more. This was an instant buy because of the bonus, also looks good in the zoo area.

Ebron suggested using “SH accessory walls” they appear to be glass walls with fish in for a feature. Where do I find them? Trawled through the items available, but a can’t find them. We’re they a special that I missed?
You get them as part of the Exotic Resort upgrades. That’s why they’re pink-ish hued, to match the resort’s walls.
If you upgrade your “Resorts” in SH, they are one of the items you can receive, so you can get a total of 10. There are also tall glass fish towers (with glass elevators going up and down) as part of the same group, which I love😁.
When you upgrade your SH Exclusive Resort, you get accessory pieces and level 5 upgrade is the fish tank. You can upgrade all 10 buildings to level 5 and use all the levels accessories individually in your town ☺ happy designing!
I grabbed this right away for the bonus % and for some reason I don’t have any other sharks in my Springfield-though to be honest my Springfield is a hot mess. I barley have time to grind through the events/KEM farm let alone any time to spend on making my Springfield look cool.

Since I have 6 laser sharks I keep wondering if I really need more sharks in a tank. I know the not laser sharks are something like 2.25% bonus and the sharks in tank have a higher bonus, but I just don’t know if I can find a place for them… Everything that’s been given in the “zoo” area doesn’t remind me of anything from a zoo. I feel like everyone is just having to add in their own stuff they’ve gotten from past events to make it more zoo feeling.
I bought it because of the bonus %, otherwise I probably would have passed since it’s so similar to the other shark tanks I already have. 😀
I really wish I could move the 🐾❄️Otter Iceberg❄️🐾 into a pond at my zoo…would make a great exhibit😁.

100% agree. I’ve had them as an exhibit at Squidport for a while (couldn’t think of anything else to do with them, they always seemed so random in the ocean surrounded by islands and such, but your use of them being towed away by the Greenpeace boat is very clever!) but when this update hit I actually tried to move them to the zoo, hoping that maybe they changed the code or whatever and they could now be placed in any body of water…no luck😏.
Moved my sea-life section 🐠 to a new Squid-port part of the zoo and now I have Otters and a Polar Bear. Don’t know if I like the aquarium more on the tiles or not, although I do like being able to have the center open to the water. Will think on it for a couple of days…🤔

Ebron, you’re like our neighbor.who has everything, a swimming pool, the nicest lawn, well-mannered kids and whenever I walk my dog and pass by their house, they always have a nice thing to say or water for my dog. I never felt any amount of envy or any negative vibes against them. They always make me feel welcome. It feels like that when you give us a peek of your Springfield. I never felt like you are showing off. More, please. 😊

An instant buy as it is a unique item which has a decent percentage but just a bit unsure how to place it yet. Looking forward to seeing some inspiration from neighbours! Does it belong in the zoo or somewhere else?
Bought it for the same reason, plopped it, but it’s going next to the Lance Murdoch stunt tank w/in my new Krustyland (plus I&S).

Just a thought but thinking of buying some crafting currency to fully upgrade my big cat mountain, really depends on act2/3 I suppose.
