Lions and Tigers and Emus…oh my! The Springfield Zoo (aka Moe’s Ark) event is in full swing in our pocket-sized towns! Of course, by now, we all know that a new event means a new excuse for EA to fill our stores with limited-time premium items to tempt us.
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add Pinkbeardy Yogurt to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this pirate yogurt shop to your town…

Premium or Freemium:
Fun, inexpensive, premium building. I like that kids have a permanent task there. If you like it, grab it otherwise pass.
Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as a premium player, I’ll be picking it up. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

Initially I was going to buy this but seeing how I have the wizards academy from last years Halloween event there’s no need. The kids already have an 8 hour task there! And I’m so glad I purchased Chez Guevara’s at the end of the heist event. The adults have a permanent 8 hour task there which is great.
I wish the employment office would use Chez Guevara for the 8 hour task. I select overnight jobs manually just to get the extra cash – it makes a big difference, and I love tapping the wave all at once when the jobs are done.
I agree. There is a sense of great satisfaction when you do that. But I would like it if you had the option to selectively choose which character to finish their task when they’re done instead of tapping the building when you’re done. I tend to forget what I sent who over to so it’d be nice to know before I tap them free.
I wasn’t going to get this, but your review changed my mind. I love your reviews; thank you for doing them. I am generally pretty meh about buildings that don’t come w/ a character. I do sometimes like them if they are animated, however, so yay for letting me know.
What’s the point of purchasing more buildings or new characters when I am at my limit. So sad that this game may as well be over.
Have you considered ‘group storing’ Christmas or other seasonal stuff till the holidays arrive? You can then pull them back out intact whenever you’re ready.

It feels like this building should have been released during the time traveling toaster event (because they had a whole act devoted to pirates). This seems like an odd building to release during a zoo event.
If this is any indication of the rest of this event I may switch over to the “Jumped the shark” camp with Pat.

It’s just annoying that the 8-hr premium job is NOT the default so we can’t use the Unemployment Office to assign kids.
I bought it as soon as it was available. I wish it had a percent bonus.
I bought it because I want to put it next to the frying dutchman… But the isometric perspective; the combination broadwalk/grass/road and the rotation of the building are not helping… as always xD

I’m confused by the timing of this release.
Why?
I think Squidport will be it’s home eventually (when I re-build it), near the Ghost Pirate Ship. For now, it can be part of the Sea Life Squiddy Park at my zoo😁.

I suggest moving the pirate ship back by 1 section, so the anchoring tile will be hidden behind the PinkBeardy.
Good suggestion, I actually moved the buildinfg forward a little , so the anchor and chain are hidden…thanks for the idea😁
Where/how did you get the bridge you added to connect the pier pieces?
It was part of the Time Traveling Toaster event, with all the pirate stuff.😁

It’s a building. Typically buildings earn cash/xp not bonuts%
It’s a good addition for the boardwalk.

Yes – Zoe is 17 and still going strong, despite losing her vision over the last year or so. She’s been in the same house for 12 years and only occasionally bumps into things or people.
