Moe’s Ark Act 2 is Live!

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Well, it’s that time in Springfield…time for a new Act! It’s 10am here on the east coast and that means it’s time for Moe’s Ark Act 2…so have at it, assuming you can get into the game of course!

Yes, odds are the servers will likely be down.  May I suggest waiting an hour or so before trying?  Unless you like seeing the Bart Screen…and spinning donut.  mmmm spinning donuts

Remember…this is an automatic change in your game.  Nothing to download, it should just start up in your game..

Questline should start right up for you and you’ll have to do a 4hr task with Larry Kidkill.  Hopefully you saved up those Daily Challenges to get a good jump start!

Act 2 runs until August 29th (when Act 3 will start)

Just what does Act 2 have in store for us?  Let’s take a look…

New Prize Currency for Act 2

I’m gonna assume these are Animal Tracks

So the ability to earn is now gone.  Your counter prize track for Act 2 has reset to zero because you have zero .  So get cracking on those

You’ll earn  very similar to how you earned during Act 1….

-Clearing Park Visitor Tappables (earns 4 /tap)
– Clearing Visitors in your Neighbor’s towns (earns 4 /tap)
-Daily Challenges (400/each)
-Sending Characters to Volunteer ( earning varies)
-Sending/tapping Invasive Toads to neighbors and in your town (earn  4 /sent and/or cleared in your town)

Act 2 Personal Prizes

Squid and Sailor– 4,000

Free Land Token– 11,400

Slimu Auditorium– 19,000

Crafting Currency (3000 Sanctuary Grants)– 26,800

Great Plains– 35,000

Free Land Token– 43,700

T-Rex– 57,000

Act 1 Prizes…

If you didn’t collect them all… you can still access them by tapping on the “ACT  1” tab in the Personal Prizes area. As you can no longer collect items for them, your only option now is to pay donuts to outright buy each one left at the point you left off at. (Just like every other event recently.)

Upgrades

Upgrading Habitats remains the same as it was for Act 1 in Act 2, only you’ll have two new Habitats to upgrade.

The Free Habitat unlocked via the Act 2 questline…(ie keep playing the questline to unlock it.  It unlocks via part 3…)

Baboon County, USA.

And the one unlocked via the Act 2 Prize Track…

 Great Plains.

Each Habitat has upgrades available to unlock extension pieces and additional animals.  We’ll cover that in an upgrade post (likely up tomorrow).

Hopefully, you saved up your upgrade currency  so you can get a jump start on upgrading!  Remember the extension pieces (as well as the Habitats help increase your Arrangement Bonus within the blue area).

Remember….

You earn upgrade currency from tapping Zoo Visitors, sending characters to Volunteer, clearing Zoo visitors in neighbors towns, invasive toads and the prize track. (you can also purchase them for donuts in the store)

New Characters Can Volunteer

With the arrival of Act 2 and 2 new Habitats, more characters can volunteer at the new attractions to earn event Currency.  Here’s a list of who can volunteer at Baboon County

And here’s a list for the Great Plains

*Sarah Wiggum and Knifey Spooney will both also have tasks at these locations once they arrive in the game.

And remember, to access volunteer jobs tap on the Springfield Zoo Entrance…

Again, I really like that they’ve eliminated traditional crafting and went back to adding event themed items to the store for cash.  Gives a purpose for cash.  Hopefully, they continue with this for future events
