I think we warned you that this event was going to get weird before it was over. And, this isn’t even the half of it.
The Squid and Sailor go with the rest of the animal-based items like Shamu and Bubbles the Chimp. And, because we don’t have any more land awarded around the original “Zoo Zone,” you are likely (like me) going to have to find a place to put your “Aquatic Related Clutter” far away from the rest of your Zoo enclosure.
But, it is…as they say…what it is.
Here are the details for Prize One in Act II…
the “Squid and the Sailor.”
So, when I hear “Squid and Sailor” it sounds like some sort of New England pub, or an ancient sea shanty…
“Oh the Squid, the Squid, is an inky old soul…
he likes to dance at the end of a pole…
the sailor and he are the truest of friends…
until he is brought to an inky end!”
OK…so maybe not fit for kids.
Oh…and for anyone wondering what that rather phallic thing is that is pointing at the sailor in the main prize graphic, it’s called a “Mantle.” (See illustration below).
So, any further discussion about what it may or may not look like (according to the clearly sophomoric animators) will not be entertained.

Well, EA did give everyone 60 free Donuts (some were given 300). I easily used that to Kem Farm 450 since this Event started. I purchased this Gil Deal just for Sarah Wiggum (she will definitely add to this Event, because she earns Event Currency/ Level Up Currency).
I honestly wished the Aquarium was smaller. It’s too big to fit in the Zoo Zone, so I encourage everyone to find a spot for it near the Squidport Pier (I think that is where most of the Aquatic themed stuff from this Event is going to end up at for me).

I already set up a little pier with the water related (other than the aquarium), stuff. Only place that made sense to me🤷♀️
In trying to squeeze fit in my “Wet & Wild Something-Something” sign, I think I found an unusually appropriate place: In front of the Watergate Bldg.

As soon as I plopped this down all I could think of was the Fonz on waterskis. Think it might be time to step away from the game again and just come back here for Patric’s Friday Filler, as it’s the only thing I really enjoy about TSTO any more.

Yes…it varies depending on what you are placing, or if you are moving a huge chunk. But yes…lagging is the new normal.

Yes, it just started…I’ve had to hard close three times today to get back to normal speed.
I purchased two extras and lined them up leading to the door of the Frying Duchman.
If you don’t tap the squid you can have the sea captain earning prize track currency and sanctuary grants at the freemium rate indefinitely.

Yeah, I have been doing that and will complete the quest when I unlock the Great Plains since the Sea Captain has a task there.

Be careful not to tap the squid in a neighbor’s Springfield, too. I learned that lesson the hard way yesterday.

Just FYI that once you’ve unlocked the sailor and squid you can purchase additional copies from the store using game dollars. Yes, you heard me, GAME DOLLARS!
If you don’t ‘Tap Squid and Sailor’ during the questline you can keep sending Sea Captain back to earn quest currency over and over.
I placed it on the boardwalk, it looks better there. It seemed out of context in my zoo. I’ve already received the free land token and placed it next to the zoo. I wish we could buy land tokens because I’d like to do more moving of items. I like your posts, always funny and quirky
