Lions and Tigers and Emus…oh my! The Springfield Zoo (aka Moe’s Ark) event is in full swing in our pocket-sized towns! Of course, by now, we all know that a new event means a new excuse for EA to fill our stores with limited-time premium items to tempt us.
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add Atlantis to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this lost city to your town…
Building/Decoration: Atlantis

Size: 8×12

Pros
-Comes with a short questline
-Milhouse has a permanent 8hr task there (Look for a Wife)
-Always animated
Cons
-One of those weird buildings that will be hard to fit in Springfield
-Pretty big footprint and awkward to place
Final Thought
Premium or Freemium:
Fun, premium building. I like that Milhouse a permanent task there. But it is a little pricier than I’d like. I think you’re better off with some of the other premium buildings that were offered, but it’s still not terrible. So, if you like it, grab it otherwise pass.
Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as a premium player, I’ll be passing. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

I was very tempted by the Bioshock reference. I may get it if I don’t see anything else before the event ends!
Way late to this, but the decoration is a nod to the video game Bioshock. The phrase “Would you kindly” is featured in the Tapped Out description and is featured prominently in the Bioshock storyline,

I was tempted to get this, except I thought it would be something you could place on a body of water (well, I guess my sprinkles will go towards something else) 🤷🏼♂️

This one really confuses me. I just don’t understand what they were thinking. It’s ATLANTIS… the lost city at the bottom of the ocean, and we can’t place it on WATER?!?
Yeah, I know, it can be placed on the pier, which is probably what I’ll do with the silly thing. But it’s **ATLANTIS**. If you were looking for Atlantis, where would you look? In the ocean, duhh!
Although I loved the Bioshock reference (“Would you kindly…?”) the fact that it doesn’t go on the water was an automatic “Nope!” for me.
Bought it…because I needed more content to offset the HUGE FREAKIN’ SIGNS that they gave us. I’ll mess with the “what/where” conundrum later. Likely will place all of this stuff near my boardwalk/squidport…or create a water barrier surrounding it all.
I hate the signs too.
I actually like the signs, I’ve had a lot of fun decorating with them.
I’ve set up different areas with them.
I didn’t get it, although I wish our Hawaiian islands had a protective dome over it like Atlantis. They are predicting that we will be hit with the WORST STORM EVER! Category 5 Hurricane Lane is on a near collision course with our islands. In the next few days major storm damage Is being predicted. people are really SCARED. Jebus help us!!! P.S. I’m still waiting for the Three Eyed Whale!

On our island of Oahu the storm is not even half as bad as people thought it would be. It now just a tropical storm and moving away from us. Just glad we are not on the islands to the east of us, they really got hammered. Hopefully it won’t get any worst than it is because it is still not over yet. Aloha from Hawaii.

It looks really good! One of my other neighbors used one of the tropical ponds with the bridge in front of it, it looks good too 😁

(There was a glitch once upon a time where squidport tiles could be removed out from under the small infinity tower thingy, if anyone is wondering how the heck I did that part. It was fixed after about a month and I haven’t moved the thing since.)

If it went on any water then would have bought it for my water park, but it’s a No for now.
I grabbed it.on the grounds that it may be the only way to get a large aquarium for my zoo or aqua world area.

I got TRex this morning, and am finding the upgrade grind gruelling ! I’m on level 3 of Great Plains after abandoning the 2nd upgrade of the level before. I think I might just bank grants for act III and backtrack later.
Hmm… this time pass. I like the details, but I can’t fit it anywhere… Stacy Lovell and the Malibu Stacy Headquarters appeared in my vault, I took them instead. Funny story, previous vault I pass on Stacy’s Dream House after one week thinking about it: “I don’t have Stacy, I don’t want to put donuts on this now.”

I like these weird buildings. They always become the center of some interesting design, even if it takes a while to figure out where.
