It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! With another Tiny Addict on the way, I’m going to help the Mother of Addicts, the Queen of the Tappers, the Protector of Six Events, the Great Aleesi (Alissa) with these Open Threads for the coming period.
Addicts Open Thread is a staple of this site that dates back to January 2014. Only 10 of us readers (myself included) commented on that first open thread way back then, and here we are nearly half a decade later and tens of thousands of comments later.
The Addicts Open Thread is where this site truly becomes a community, where we can talk about anything we want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of The Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING you desire…just keep it PG.

We’re coming to the end of Act 2 of Moe’s Ark, how have you fared with the prize track? Taking in our tips for progressing through Act 2? Excited to have Sarah Wiggum finally in the game? If you’re still on the fence, be sure to check out the SIB here.

I’m putting in an early Christmas wish list to EA to give programmers some time. This is also based on a lot of comments like players like myself.
– More land in SH. (Not based on land tokens, every one hates the land token system)
-Mini games prizes need to change up and be able to sold from inventory. Seriously.
-We have so many buildings with cool animations we can’t activate because no characters have tasks there but a couple buildings that every single adult character has a task that defaults there. Were you totally high? Dont answer that. Of course you were. Please fix this.
-Omg some new movies for the Drive In! I can’t emphasize this enough!
-Ability to corral NPC’ s go a particular area.
– This is probably number one on every Tappers list EA, your size scaling and color schemes are all over the map, you really make things hard to make things go together. Can you you get your design act together Please? Pretty Please? Pretty please with sugar on top?
-My vault was useless almost immediately, each time it’s the same shite I’ve not wanted from the beginning. Where are the items I regret missing up on? Not in the vault,, not even very good with toaster box but you did get me. You could’ve got me a lot more with some better throwbacks.
Does anyone know if using the animal feeding center gives less “points” than if you clicked all the invasive frogs yourself? Also, do your “friends” get the reward either way? Or again is it only if you click the frog yourself?
Nope. Clears them all… and the friends get the credit no matter how they are cleared.
I absolutely cannot wait to see how Alissa feels about 333 donuts for a 7% return on the three eyed whale given her feelings on the OG whale.

What experience level are you?
I had surgery a few days ago so I’m coming back from that. I can’t believe there is another act. Omgosh. This event is feeling never ending. I thought we were finishing up act 3 already but when I was playing I realized we still have one more act left. I’m more then ready for Halloween to come.

I have a time capsule mystery box in my town now for 16 days. Haven’t seen this as part of event and it came at the start of act 2 and i haven’t seen anyone review it or talk about if it’s worth the 50 donuts?? Anyone have ideas?
Hasnt been 16 days, it just hit the game on Friday the 24th…
Is this the only new mystery box we are to expect for this event? Just working out if i’m going to purchase other content or not.

If you have the Historical Society and Curvaceous Cave in the box then it is definitely worth it since they come with Hollis Hurlbut and Booberella (if you don’t have her) and a costume for Booberella originally cost 100 and 150 donuts. The decorations are good if you’re interested in increasing your bonus % and have a design in mind for them or have some items from the Time Travel update last year, the Waterslide Tree is the best decoration since it generates income and gives a 3% bonus. There are 2 NPCs (Screamapillar and Two-nicorn) inside if you don’t like them. The mystery box is available until this event ends in case another premium item appears that you might want to buy.
I disliked it, and wasnt going to buy anything, but gave in and did. I got caveman moe and moes cavern, and am glad i bought it.
Once again, I’ve been on holiday to a place with non-existant wifi during an event. So now I’m so far behind, I’ve lost the love for act 2. Let’s see what act 3 will bring
The holiday has made up for it though, a few days of rollercoaster heaven for my youngest boy!!
Honestly you missed out on Trex which is a very unmenorable blah prize so you didn’t miss much.

I have been exploring all of my neighboreeno’s towns when visiting, & realized I’d forgotten how talented a lot of you guys are! Too many of you to mention here, but I hope you don’t mind when I steal some of your ideas😏😁
I’m not dropping any toads until after act 3, unless I see that someone is short of getting T-Rex. Has anyone else noticed the toads aren’t coming as easily as they did in act 1? On a positive note, the donut drop from visiting has increased, at least 1, occasionally 2, a day😁
Still on the fence over the 3 eyed whale. I’d planned on buying it, but 333 donuts??? Happily forked over the 300 for Sarah, but not too thrilled over the cost.
Still miffed over the lack of effort EA put into the giraffe, I was so excited, now… meh🤨

Have you tried moving the giraffe around to different slots on the Great Plains? In some spots you have a full sized giraffe feeding on tree leaves vs the giraffe in a hole silliness.

Today after logging in twice, i was stopped with a massive 834.4 update. Basically like installing the whole game again. Idk why. Has this happened to anyone else before? Just wondering cause I’ve had no trouble before.

I’ve had an interesting week. On Sunday I was put in a no win situation at work. On Wednesday I was fired (after almost 16 years) over it. A former coworker helped me get an interview at his current job and I started today. Been a wild ride.
Congrats on the new job. I’m hoping to start a new job soon myself. My old job is just dragging me down. This game is one of my guilty pleasures. In fact it’s the only game I play.
