Moe’s Ark Act 3 is Live!

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Well, it’s that time in Springfield…time for the final Act!  The final Act of Moe’s Ark that is.   It’s 10am here on the east coast and that means it’s time for Moe’s Ark Act 3…so have at it, assuming you can get into the game of course!

Yes, odds are the servers will likely be down.  We should all be used to it by now…it sucks but complaining won’t help.

Remember…this is an automatic change in your game.  Nothing to download, it should just start up in your game..

Questline should start right up for you and you’ll have to do a 4hr task with Larry Kidkill.

Act 3 runs until September 12th (when Moe’s Ark will end)

Just what does Act 3 have in store for us?  Let’s take a look…

New Prize Currency for Act 3

Based on the questline, let’s assume this is animal DNA…

So the ability to earn  is now gone.  Your counter prize track for Act 2 has reset to zero because you have zero .  So get cracking on those

You’ll earn  very similar to how you earned  during Act 1….

-Clearing Park Visitor Tappables (earns 4 /tap)
– Clearing Visitors in your Neighbor’s towns (earns 4 /tap)
-Daily Challenges (400/each)
-Sending Characters to Volunteer ( earning varies)
-Sending/tapping Invasive Toads to neighbors and in your town (earn  4 /sent and/or cleared in your town)

Act 3 Personal Prizes

Flying Brachiosaurus– 5,100

Free Land Token– 15,100

Chicken Pulled Chariot– 25,400

Mad Dr. Hibbert– 35,600 (Skin)

Crafting Currency (3000 Sanctuary Grants)– 45,900

Free Land Token– 56,400

Teenage Homer– 72,200 (Full character)

Act 2 Prizes…

If you didn’t collect them all… you can still access them by tapping on the “ACT  2” tab in the Personal Prizes area. As you can no longer collect items for them, your only option now is to pay donuts to outright buy each one left at the point you left off at. (Just like every other event recently.)

Upgrades

Upgrading Habitats remains the same as it was for Acts 1 and 2 in Act 3, only you’ll have one new Habitat to upgrade.

The Free Habitat unlocked via the Act 3 questline…

Warmongers Habitat (although this looks more like something out of Pokemon than a Zoo)

The Habitat has upgrades available to unlock extension pieces and additional animals.  We’ll cover that in an upgrade post (likely up tomorrow).

Hopefully, you saved up your upgrade currency  so you can get a jump start on upgrading!  Remember the extension pieces (as well as the Habitat help increase your Arrangement Bonus within the blue area).

Remember….

You earn upgrade currency from tapping Zoo Visitors, sending characters to Volunteer, clearing Zoo visitors in neighbors towns, invasive toads and the prize track. (you can also purchase them for donuts in the store)

Once unlocked, new characters will have tasks at the Warmongers Habitat to Volunteer.  Those characters are Chief Wiggum, Snake and Mad Dr. Hibbert.

New Items in the Store…

New cash items available…

Wild Animal Kingdom Sign- $100

Zoo Anteater Statue- $50

Again, I really like that they’ve eliminated traditional crafting and went back to adding event themed items to the store for cash.  Gives a purpose for cash.  Hopefully, they continue with this for future events

New Premium Items available…

Yo Yo & Worm Train- 150 Donuts

Returning Premium Items available…

Bob Clones Bundle- 60 Donuts (leaves 9/4)

Pro Shop & Space Coyote- 120 Donuts (leaves 9/4)

Golden Calf Idol- 30 Donuts (leaves 9/4)

Premium items still to come during Act 3…
(these are coming off a list sent to us by EA, so don’t shoot the messenger if they don’t hit the game or something is off with them)

Giant Lobster Scorpion- (arrives 8/31)

Tower of Babel (arrives 9/3)

Returning Pet Mutant Seedling, Frink’s Robot Dog, Homer Dog, Maurice, Concert Hall & Mozart, Imaginary Bear & Pokey (arrives 9/5)

Rosh Hashanah Special (arrives 9/8)

And before you ask…

Here’s a list of posts we’re working on that should be up soon…

-Act 3 Calendar
-Act 3 walkthrough
-SIB for New Content
-And more!

So be patient, the info you need will be up soon. 🙂

And that my friends concludes the quick rundown of Act 3!

Remember this is just a quick rundown…as we have time to play through the Act ourselves we’ll break everything down in more detail.

Thoughts on Act 3?  Just like you pictured it?  Excited about these prizes?  How’d you do with your Act 2 prizes?  Will you be buying any of the new premium items? Sound off in the comments below.  You know we love hearing from you!

  1. Having A problem with Dr. Hibbert. Mo’s Ark Entrance/ Jobs Available keeps telling me there is a job available. Through process of elimination, I see they are refering to Hibbert, but he hasn’t a job assignment there yet. Just thought it was odd.

  2. Im really loving this event. A ZOO. Wow!
Great animals. Great habitats. Im loving the way they upgrade the habitats and let us get and arrange and rearrange the animals.

I wish they gave us the winter raccoon, and a little gerbil they offered at thanksgiving last year… And the rats from the pirate event. Missed them, too.

Looking forward to the next bit of releases. So fun.

    • It’s so great that EA has their ardent supporters! It’s wonderful that someone really, really, really loves this update! If you are happy…then EA must be happy!!

    • I also am enjoying the event. However, was disappointed with the panda’s smile. Looks a little creepy to me.

      • They are bears for the most part. I think bears always look creepy/sneaky. Like, “Hey! Come over here and let me hug you…while I eat your face off.”

  3. Now we will have a chicken pulling something, after we have already a duck pulling a thing. Haven’t seen that duck in ages tho.
Wonder what we have next, maybe a pigeon pulling?

  4. You gotta catch ’em all. (The animals at Warmongers that is)

  5. So happy as I have been waiting for ages to get the flying Brachiowatsit thing. It will go really well next to the other stored items from previous Act 3s 😂🤣😂🤣

  6. Sorry if this has been covered / answered before but ……. is anyone else seeing “jobs available” when everyone who can volunteer is already engaged in a task ?

  7. I purchased the first extension for the warmongers and it didn’t appear. The prize track shows I bought it so where do I look? I searched inventory and then searched decorations. Of course I don’t know what it’s called so I concentrated on the W items. I wonder when the first case of blindness from searching inventory will occur?!

    • Check your inventory again (did you look under decorations, miscellany or even nature sections?) but look under H since the first extension is called Hilarium Pool and look under the second set of Hs as the first set is for unique items and the second is for non unique items.

      • I’m SO embarrassed – I finally managed to figure out that that “first extension” I bought was actually the habitat. I can only blame it on my being 75 years old!!! But speaking of inventory, has anyone ever suggested to EA that if we’re going to have to search through 9,734 items to try and find something, could they just list them in alphabetical once? When you search decorations, miscellaneous or the entire inventory all at once, the alphabet repeats over and over. My eyes really do hurt if I search carefully and so I usually end up going through faster and faster.

        • From your (tired) eyes to EA!! Yes…I agree! If they are going to have a HUGE storage unit…a little organization would be wonderful.

        • At least you’re not alone since the same thing happens to me every so often, most recently I was looking for the cave walls from the Time Travelling Toaster event in my inventory but they didn’t appear in the walls or miscellaneous sections of the inventory but only in decorations. I fully agree that the inventory should be organised more better since it is so dull and tedious to find one item, even a search feature would be useful. 🙂

  8. Where is the Warmongers Habitat?? I don’t see it anywhere am I missing something?
