Lions and Tigers and Emus…oh my! The Springfield Zoo (aka Moe’s Ark) event is in full swing in our pocket-sized towns! Of course, by now, we all know that a new event means a new excuse for EA to fill our stores with limited-time premium items to tempt us.
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the Giant Lobster Scorpion to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this 1 eyed crustacean to your town…

I think it’s worth 35 donuts for 2.5% bonus.
Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as a premium player, I’ll pick it up. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

Should I spend the grants? Or do we have to save them for some surprise item at the end of the event?
I wouldn’t count on a surprise, but personally I always like to hoard my extra crafting currency until the very end of the event and then go on a shopping spree the last day.
Just had another update! Zoo walls back to normal and Poochie is back.

next thing I know some characters are missing:
Disapproving squirrel, ms. scratchy & picnic tree, roy, all poochie event items, conformity bonus 200%, 4hr celebrate task for maggie, maybe more missing.
My game just downloaded an update that seems to have made loads of pointless changes – like the zoo walls are now brown and don’t match the wall pillars either side of the zoo sign, the emus are a completely different design, as are the deer, and the flowers on the bushes awarded by the emu experience have changed from pink to white. Why EA, why?
Just seen SandyToes’ post below – just checked and those things have also happened to me!
Ack! The emus now look like ugly ostrich emu hybrids and the deer are terrifying to look at. I sure hope they change them back!
Just got some mini update thing…..poochie is gone…hus car, the ramp, disgruntled goat stand, trailer, the thing where the kid sit eith the knob thing…all stuff from the poochie event. And my zoo walls changed color! What the hell?????

Yep there was a patch and it did remove all of the Poochie mini event items and changed zoo wall colors + the Springfield Heights Multiplier went back to hidden. It is all over the games forums right now.
My Disapproving Squirrel is gone too….the one that cost donuts. Im ever so pissed.😡😡😡
Me too…And the bonus percentage is down again, in my case around 200% lower…What is going on?

Plus bonus % went down. It looks like the Springfield Heights bonus was hidden again.
I noticed at least 6 or 7 design changes in my zoo, I though it was a game of 7mistakes by EA, but all the Poochie stuff gone is weird… The tree and hill from picnic with Miss Scratchy is gone too

Oh wow! I noticed the walls but I hadn’t noticed all the poochie stuff too!! WTH!!
Had the miniupdate and I don’t miss anything at the moment, but it seems that those of us who are not playing in English are gonna spare a lot of text. Never read the dialogues anyway 😉

Same thing here. Poochie and all his things are gone, and the zoo walls don’t match the zoo gate any more.

Hey, do you know why EA changed so many little design details from the zoo with today’s update, is that a game of 7 mistakes or something ? 🤨
I like that it remains activated until tapped-again.
Seems that EA is making more of these types of decorations, which is good. If I enjoy the animation…. keep it coming without requiring more-taps.

35 donuts for 2.5% Bonus is reasonable, but I wonder if there’s something (or some things) equal to that which takes up less space? I’m telling you, having to get Land Tokens is forcing this Tapper to be mindful of how much space something takes. 🤔
To say nothing of Item Limits. Which I hit again…trying to place all of the clutter from this update.
If you’re careful not to tap it, you can keep Willie earning at a premium rate…

Given that the standard bonus-to-donut ratio is 2%/40D, I think this is a good item (although I consider the best option the occasional rebated Jet Engine Bike). I bought it, and would again 😀
