Just a reminder that the Moe’s Ark Event Ends TOMORROW September 12th.
This means that you will want to make that final push to gather up all the things you want from the Event before it goes with the Event.
As far as what is going to happen AFTER the Event… well, we can’t know… until it is over. Until then all we can do is speculate. So, patience. We all have to verify what happens after together.
Now as far as to what is going with the Event, here is a brief rundown…
- Questlines linked directly to the progression of the Event will go. Like the Main Questlines that pulled you through all 3 Acts.
- However, the questlines linked directly to the prizes and Premium Characters you’ve won will remain. (so Teenage Homer, Yo Yo etc)
- The event removal will require an app store update to fully remove it from your game. So don’t panic when the timer runs down and the event isn’t out of your game… It will require an app store update to remove everything.
I know some of you still try to push that last few minutes of the collection as far as you can. However, with the last few events EA has really shut off the ability to play on “borrowed time”. In other words, once the timer runs out the ability to collect prizes ends. So don’t count on getting any extra time with this one. Try to finish everything up before the timer runs out tomorrow morning.
And don’t forget to upgrade! Use em or lose em! And don’t forget to buy the cash items in the store! Once they’re gone they’re gone.
So tap those last few visitors and relax and wait to see what EA has next in store for us.
Oh and don’t be surprised if we see a mini-event hit tomorrow with the removal. As we’ve been saying for a long time…mini-events are downtime. There’s never going to be a period where nothing is going on in the game, they’ll constantly update to keep players engaged. They may be small updates, designed to finish quickly and then enjoy some downtime before a timer runs out, but you’ll never see a massive amount of time without new content in this game. You may get a day or two, but not weeks.

So I haven’t had time to keep up with posts, but quick question. I achieved unlocking everything. But I haven’t fully leveled all the animals etc in the warmongers area. Will I just miss out after the event ends? Or will I still be able to upgrade?
I was actually able to design as I went, and the animals are fun (yes, even warmongers; I just figure, “Hey, it’s Springfield, they mutated”), so it was okay in my book.
Here’s how I stopped worrying and learned to love the warmongers section: Set all the animal slots to empty (the exclamation point) and then it’s just a pretty decoration that could fit in with the Kodos stuff.
It’s a good thing they brought back some stuff back again to buy if you missed it the first time, i was able to buy the Pinkbeardy Frozen Yougurt shop the second time around and it went straight on to my Squidport
I’ve got 330 toads for anyone needing a few more DNA strands have about 12 spots can remove for dedicated tappers sp if you’re in the 60K, and need not want Teenage Homer.

Add: i find it easiest to locate toads by going into my builfing search and switching off everything except characters, the toads are usually around your roads. So they should be easy to fine with everything else transparent.

Of course in the last few hours of the event, after wondering why I’ve been lagging behind so much that I’ve had to use doughnuts to finish each act, I figure out that the Zoo entrance job menu is scrollable and I’ve only been sending half my characters to jobs…fml.
Yep me too.. and my Partner… Someone should be fired for that design choice, Ruined the whole event!

Do u know if after event ends if you had 2 Big Cats (or 2 of any enclosures) and only 1 was fully upgraded if it was going to be possible that both will have the option to change between all the unlocked animals because one was fully upgraded for that type enclosure ?? I know we cant now. . .but after event -.Maybe??. . . .Thanks for any info !
I got a second Big Cat Country and a second Great Plains, and didn’t bother upgrading Warmongers all the way cause i think it’s dumb. I can’t upgrade Great Plains further than the rhino but that’s fine, I’m exactly where I want to be with the animals I want in my zoo! This was a fun event and I liked it for the most part. I LOVE that crafting is GONE and you can buy stuff in the store for cash!!! Now I can buy sheep to my little heart’s content. Thanks, Addicts-In-Chief, for getting us all through another event 😀
I enjoyed this event. I like the changes from the other recent events. I am glad it’s over though and am looking forward to getting my plopped zoo pieces put together into an actual zoo. Unless of course I decide to store it all like I did with KISLand. I’m hoping for a fun quick mini event, a little down time and then a really good THOH event. If there is enough good content I may even buy some more sprinkles.
And…… I still haven’t gotten teenage Homer, and can’t log in. Grrrrrrrr!
I been zoned out this entire event. Checked in every couple of days when I was bored. Hopefully the next event is fun again I am starting to lose the habit of even checking the game anymore
So glad it’s over. The whole thing was a chore. Only persevered for Teen Homer. Ever since the roll back glitch life ain’t been the same :- (
The removal already hit me just a little bit ago probably about an hour ago.
I really enjoyed the zoo event. Relaxing. Lots of new content that’s aesthetically pleasing. I like the look of my zoo in my town.new characters are always welcome. I give this event a B+, or A-.
How do I get my giraffe to stand up and be a freakin giraffe and not a stupid meerkat?
Pick a different spot on the great plains for him to be in . . . The animals have different stances in different spots. . . Use “Change” & “remove” of each animal. . .

Just tried to drop toads in a neighbor’s town and got a message that “xxxx has newer content than you. It’s update time!” What’s that about?
It wasn’t horrible; they finally gave us (overpriced) Sarah Wiggum, we didn’t have to craft items like fences and statues (not counting stuff for the exhibits), and it gave us some free land (though in an odd location). It was a weird storyline that obviously fell apart in the end, or as others have said, the writers got drunk and stopped caring.
But all in all, I was okay with it. Even if I’m glad it’s over.
Now, here’s hoping we have an actual Halloween event. I love Harry Potter and the Simpsons’ take on it, but last year’s event was in the wrong place at the wrong time 😄
I’ve been lazy this act, might not get Homer without spending some donuts. Trying to decide if I should.
I loved this event so much, with popular opinion I thought the third act got a little boring but I had a lot happen on the last two weeks. With all the change in my life I still set aside 30 minutes a day for it(mostly split up through out the day) and was able to get homer with about two days to spare. On a sure note I recommend that you buy all the little stuff like zoo fences and stacking sheep will you still can all nice and cheap ( although I don’t really love the chicken cart, I still got a couple of them just for the sake that if in the future I have an idea with them or if EA makes them premium[super not likely but who knows]).
I’m more than 1,800 sanctuary grants away from the last Warmomgers upgrade (tree stump fauna). I don’t suppose it’s worth spending 50 doughnuts to get it, is it?
I haven’t even hit armored armadillo, if I can make it to a second Baboon County I’ll do that or a 3rd Emu Experience if not.
